Every time an RP guy posts a study, there are tons of claims that the study is “rage bait,” a “troll study,” an “cabal study,” or that it was “made to attack women.”

People say the scientists claim things different from what the study actually found. Others argue the researchers made a basic mistake, that some random user basically “peer-reviewed” it themselves and proved it’s trash, that it’s cherry-picked, or that there are dozens of studies claiming the opposite — but somehow no one can provide them right now because they have to catch their bus.

You know the drill.

Is the same thing happening in other subjects, or is this mainly a Red Pill / PPD phenomenon?

If it happens elsewhere too, would you say it accidentally aligns heavily with your own views?

I’ve also noticed what seems like a strong bias from BP against studies. I rarely see BP users posting studies, is for you lived experience more important than actual data, or not?
