I think it’s mainly appreciation?

Growing up, I was AWFUL at video games but seeing others who could play was fascinating. Additionally I admire the graphics and visuals too, which lead to an interest in figuring out how it was done.

I don’t think it really has anything to do with the game developer himself. It’s more that video games are cool as hell.

I mean even people who don’t like video games can appreciate all those work that goes into making one. The art/graphics, character writing, music, game mechanics and so much more. Personally I enjoy video games and wouldn’t find it unattractive. The rest depends on the guy.

I have many friends in the industry. None of their partners care about what they do for work. It is nerd shit, even if they themselves like to play games time to time.

The entertainment industry usually has lower pay for equivalent positions compared in other industries. Longer hours (crunch period) can make dating difficult, and everything in general from family time to hobbies outside of work.

Doing amateur social media analysis is a good way to waste your time, many profiles are fake.

As a woman with a few years of relationships behind her now, I have named this "the cult of fashionable usefulness". 200 years ago, it was a man with money or 100 years ago it was a man who could take photographs, since cameras were new and exciting and a new field of hobby/career etc was born. The last 20 years it's been computers. It's not actually a money thing, it's a passion thing. A man with a passion is automatically more attractive than he was 10 minutes before you heard about it. If it's something that you can share in, it's good. If it can make you a few bob while you're there, all's the better!

But just so you know, each and every single one of these comes in secondary to the man who can knock you together a space rack and a new cabinet for the living room.

How do you know they’re interested in the developers themselves and not - I don’t know - the topic of the videos, game development? If there’s something giving you that impression you haven’t put it in your post.
I don’t play anymore and even when I did I wasn’t a “serious” gamer, but I was considering game development as a career path for a time, though I didn’t end up pursuing it.

Woman find men who are: ambitious, hard working, attractive because it makes a guy confident and gives off a good aura. They then get dates which makes a guy even more confident than more attractive as he gains more confidence.

Do something ambitious and work hard at it, would be my best advice as the rest falls into place.

Society doesn’t want ambitious people they want drones who do whatever they are told.
