So obviously height is a massive point of contention on the dating subs on reddit. To the point that people (and even some women) saying if you're under 6'0, it's over.

Many of my friends are in the 5'9-5'10 range and I've never heard any of them referenced as short. Or had problems with women. Some were handsome, but some were fairly average with good charisma. Maybe the 5'7 and below guys start getting hit with the 'short' comments, but I've just never existed in a world where a 5'10 guy is off the table or was deemed too short by any woman I've met in person.

Are women desiring these heights because guys all pad by a few inches? Are there a bunch of 5'8 guys claiming 6'0? Basically, the numbers don't line up with how the guys are perceived in real life. What gives?
