This is a big tell on those who don’t really see women as people. Or see women as below them. Because they think a woman can’t ever be right. Or make a good point. Even in other cases where there’s two opposing sides, men will acknowledge that not everyone thinks as they do and can accept it (differences in religion, etc.). But once its gender related, they just have to be right on everything. Not really how the world works.

It depends on his motive: Is he defending her point because she is correct and stands on it's own merit independently of whether or not it was uttered by a woman? Or is he entirely motivated by the brownie points he thinks he is going to get by taking her side?

I'm not saying that some men don't agree with women just on the merit of the woman's argument, but in most cases, a man agreeing or sticking up for a woman is because he wants sex from her.

Most women don't truly appreciate this until their looks decline in their 30's/40's/50's. They genuinely think that men are being nice to them just out of the goodness of their heart. In that case, men should be equally nice to other men, right? Except they are not.

This is obvious but perhaps it’s not the disagreement that they are annoyed with but how their issues are met with “yeah but this happens to women….” Especially in the mainstream which is where most of the attention for these issues will come from.

This leaves woman with the majority of the attention for their issues while mens get pushed aside because women also have issues despite theirs already being looked at.
