So, I’m really sorry if this makes people uncomfortable or invalidates people’s trauma, im really trying not to do that. But there are types of something considered rape, but that I don’t super see how they could be rape. I’m also wanting to UNDERSTAND why it would be considered rape.

First, im EXTREMELY anti rape, as I hope most people would be. But rape means the sex is against one’s will, they didn’t have a CHOICE. And there are a lot of things that remove that choice.

But if someone keeps pressuring you into sex, and asks over and over and over, you still have the CHOICE of saying no. Is that not the case? Like, it’s a terrible thing to do, but I don’t understand how people on the receiving end don’t have a choice, if they eventually cave, that’s still them agreeing to it. If there’s another element involved, like an implication that someone won’t give you a ride home otherwise (as an example), or there is money involved. But if not, I can’t see how it would be rape.

The other type is if one party is uncomfortable, even in physical pain, but doesn’t say anything. If someone is saying “ow” or are making pained noises, that’s one thing. But if you CHOOSE not to vocalize it, how is that on the other person?

So, I actually am sorry if this makes people uncomfortable. Also, if people respond with weird shit about women or talk about feminism going to far or anything, im not interested in hearing you out
