According to RP, women are irrational, manipulative, disloyal, narcissists, hamstering, doomed to hit the wall, and boring conversationalists. I read one "red pill constitution" where about half of the points were just a list of negative things about women or feminism [*].

This puzzles me a bit. In our everyday lives we don't go around obsessing about peoples' faults and pointing them out. Do we? We would need a reason to do that.

Here are some possible interpretations of RP's negative beliefs about women. Which, if any, do you think are most important (or none of the above) and why? Which are not true at all? Do you want to add any to the list?

Strategic reasons:

  1. Women are attracted to strength. RP men believe that women will only like them if they "hold frame" like a "rock in the storm," and that involves seeing themselves as strong and women as weak.
  2. Women are attracted to aloofness. RP men are trying to "take women off their pedestal" so that they can appear aloof and indifferent toward women. This makes them appear to have higher SMV.
  3. Men need courage. These beliefs are used by men to psych themselves up to go out and do cold approaches. They convince themselves that women are not that terrifying, after all they are very flawed.
  4. Distrust. RP men don't trust women, they believe that all women will betray them, and they want to remind themselves constantly not to trust. AWALT.

Moral justification:

  1. Justifying RP relationship models. RP has some relationship models that might be controversial in mainstream society, like "first mate / captain" and "spinning plates." These must be justified by showing that women are at fault.

  2. Justifying tactics. RP has a number of tactics and practices that might be controversial in mainstream society, such as dread and negging. These must be justified by showing that women are at fault.

Composition of the RP community:

  1. Male domination of the RP community. Maybe male-dominated communities are just expected to produce ideologies that say negative things about women.

  2. Bitterness. Maybe communities dominated by embittered men with bad relationship experiences are expected to produce ideologies that say negative things about women.

And, finally:

  1. Telling it like it is. Maybe RP men are just telling it like it is, because they've studied and discussed relationships so much that they are free of biases, and they understand relationships better than other people do.
