I’m 22 so I’ve only had one actual relationship (everything else has been short lived or just casual) since it’s not a priority right now.

It's a consequence of the modern society where every little girl is told she's a princess. Where magazines and now twitter and other social media pander to women by telling them that they are all queens and that the most important thing a man will ever have in his life is a woman.
They get sold the idea that they don't have to settle when their hubby gets older, boring and has a little belly. They have options! Never mind the belly they themselves have. Men are queueing up on Tinder, just waiting for her! Dump the old husband and go out and get your new one! He'll be tall, handsome and rich and he'll do anything for you - and your kids. A Real Man(TM) in other words.
And after the divorce they get to experience the truth: Yes, there are tall and handsome men who want to be with her. For a night or two. The rich part? Well, it's easy to pretend when it's only for a shag.
The needle in the haystack? The guys who are actually tall, handsome and rich? AND single? AND looking for a long term partner? They are not going for a 30's or 40's divorced mother of two or three. Of course not.
A year or so ago I commented on a picture in another sub. It was actually a collection of pictures that showed a dad taking his young daughter to the movie theater. She was literally dressed in different princess costumes in each picture. I commented something along the lines of "way to instill a princess complex from an early age". I was bombarded with hateful replies. If course I was. But I wouldn't be surprised if that girl was still single in 30-40 years because no living and breathing man will be able to live up to her expectations and standards.

You're right about that. The main problem is that too many women AND men think that ANY criticism of female behaviour is the same as misogyny. Just yesterday I got the old classic "who hurt you" they like to use when they have no good counter argument. But then again, it's not a normal part of our culture to treat boys better because they are pretty. I've seen it with girls when I went to school. I can see it in my boy's school. I saw it for a couple of years where I taught in a college. The pretty girls that are used to getting good grades. And when their papers are compared to the boy's papers and are graded equally, they don't understand.
Not all of course. I also had female students who were very beautiful AND smart. Once when I graded some papers, three of them were completely identical. But I knew with 100% certainty who was the original author. And the two guys who had handed in their papers were not anywhere near smart enough to have written that stuff. But she was. So the two guys got a stern talking to and a first warning. And the girl I told to not let others borrow her work.

Explain to me, this notion that a lot (not all!!) women these days have that THEY are what they bring to the table in a relationship? That the guy has to be 6'+, be handsome, make $100+, be this and that and love her three children like his own? But she only has to sit there looking pretty? Where does all that come from? When does it start? Are those women completely reasonable all their childhoods and teens, but some day they just spontaneously rewire their brains and decide that now they deserve A Real Man? And Real Men support their woman!

Compared to us men, you'll find 50 y/o men dating 20 y/o college girls because they like "experienced men" and shit like that. So I don't know, that's how I explain it.

First of all: Thank you for discussing this in a civil manner. It's rare these days it seems.
Yes, women are most dateable between 15-32ish. We agree on that. But that doesn't explain the rise in women who have impossible standards without themselves being anything special.
And when I say a lot, I do not mean all. In fact, only a minority. A quick glance at a demographics graph for the US shows that there is approximately 22 million women in the US between the age of 20-30. Just 1% is a minority, but out of 22 million that's still a lot.
My personal hypothesis of why we see them so much, is that most level headed women who are nice to be around and who do not have impossible standards, they mostly end up in a relationship with a guy they meet in real life. And for most of them, this happens in their early 20's. Sure, some are just unlucky and don't meet a guy they like and vise verse. But for most of them, they go into a LTR in their early 20's.
So where does this leave the entitlement princesses who are impossible to make happy or to be around for that matter? They can be found on online dating.
Now, I'm not saying that all women between 20-30 on online dating are impossible to be around. But if you look on a typical profile with their lists of impossible demands for a top 10% man, it's no wonder a lot of these attractive women are single. And since those dating profiles are public, we get to see how many of those women exist and how ridiculous their demands are.

I had a hard no rule about dating women with kids. I gave a pass to a woman that had 1 kid. It wasn't a bad time but it didn't last. Then years later I dated a woman that had 4 kids. That was a nightmare.
I married a woman that had one kid from a previous marriage (10 a the time). It wasn't a walk in the park but it wasn't all horror, like the woman with the 4 kids. We had a kid of our own (now 7) and kid from the previous marriage decided to live with her bio-father. Not to mention I think she's 18 now (or perhaps next year).

I was in a similar situation with my ex, it was extremely toxic. Though we were both in retail, and I supported her when she was in between jobs she still continued to ask so much from me. She was even making twice my paycheck at the time.
