Every time I read something like this I'm reminded that this shit is true. I'm lucky, I'm 22 and I'm not that bad off in terms of upbringing. I found TRP when I was 21, but I knew something was up earlier. Now, after a bad experience with trying to tell someone what they were doing wrong, I have to watch young men hide their unhappiness without being able to help them, unless they are a very close friend.

God this is beautiful. I hate to say it but it feels religious, almost spiritual. All I wanted to do after reading this was to share it to Facebook, or yell it from the rooftops but then of course the fear came in. The last paragraph hit hard.

A rollercoaster of an article. Quite stereotypical but it seems all too common with young men these days. A bitter message that narrates the difficulty in being a man without masculinity.

I remember the first time I came across Bold & Determined (A fucking awesome website by the way) and I thought Victor - the writer - was the biggest dick ever! As I read a few pieces I concluded that he was in fact the masculinity that I wanted to follow like I would a father. His website alone is pure testosterone and it cuts out all the crap. I have learned and developed my life using just a few simple ideas most of which have come from him... Be selfish, do what you want to do, care not of anyone else's opinion on your plans.

These have given me far more in 2-3 years than 17 years being brought up by my family and the education system ever could, and I could never have imagined a timid little boy who never wanted to offend anyone could develop qualities such as these:

Self-confidence
High self-esteem
No self-doubt
Ruthlessness
Boldness
Self-respect

To me, these are what being Red Pill is about. Most people who disagree with RP and hate those who live by it hold none of these qualities and more often than not, are feeble men who submit to pussy like it is their god.

It's like a grand retelling of my entire life, being 30 and suicidal and all. I don't know where I'd be if there was no TRP, or even if I'd still be around anymore. By the time I got here I had already lost the will to continue with my life.

I couldn't understand why, no matter how nice I was, no matter how kind, funny, easy-going and good I was around girls, that none of them ever thought much of me... nothing more than just a friend. I would hear them complain about men, demanding more time and attention from them and I would give them my all. I would always go above and beyond for every girl that would "Best Friend" me. Hell for one girl who was a vegan, I tried to impress her by cooking her vegan Italian food. She slept with another guy later that night, I wept to myself alone.

It wasn't until I met the guy that my blue pill world was shattered. I was so delusional in blue pill that I thought this guy was even nicer than me, even kinder and more sweeter/wonderful than me... that must be it because she chose him over me. I was stunned when I was first introduced to him that he immediately started treating her like crap, like she was a dog. He wouldn't put up with her and would act like he would just leave if she didn't behave the way he wanted her to. He would act like he doesn't care and be unimpressed by her trying to get attention from him. I couldn't believe it. My brain literally could not process what was going on. He would treat her like crap, make fun of her and criticize her and instead of her being upset it would turn her on even more. It made no sense, literally no sense. It went against everything I had ever learned. If everything I had ever learned doesn't work again and again, but what I am seeing before me IS working, then it only means that everything I thought I knew was just a lie.

I lived the first 29 years of my life in the blue pill world until I was force-fed the truth in the worst way, watching her fall in love with an asshole that doesn't even care about her, giving him the care and affection that she never gave me. When I ask questions why being a "nice guy" doesn't work I would be thrown under the bus and shamed for trying to trick girls into sex. They would label us as creeps while they would sleep with men who wouldn't give them anything unless they had sex with them. They would rather sacrifice nice guys like me to keep the blue pill lie going than attempt to give answers why it never works.

I honestly do not believe girls anymore when they say they like nice guys. When they do, I imagine the other guy to have this look of terror on his face, scared of her while she screams and nags at him, digs her nails deep into his insecurities, all while Mr. Nice Guy is too scared of breaking his image of being a wonderful nice guy and continues providing for a woman that doesn't respect him.

Bonus:

I was at a party last week and I was listening a girl who was complaining about a man she just met. They only had one dinner together and she's already sleeping with him but he won't spend any time with her. She was complaining about how he's just using her for sex and talked about how much of a dick he is, but every so often she would get a text and she would flip her shit hoping it's him. When it's not, she would continue rambling about how she wants a man who will give her the time and attention she needs and when she gets another text she would flip her shit and hope it's him again. Ha. Ha. Ha.

Great article. According to feminists being a white male in and of itself is bad, but being a white male who wants to be successful in their career and with women is tantamount to being a Nazi.

Anyone else needs to work at it, and the very act of working at being a better man is somehow frowned upon by these cretins even though it's what makes us attractive to them, like wtf?

What's described in this article is the path of almost everyone I knew growing up until people luckily wised up in their early 20's. (Scotland here so feminism hasn't quite infiltrated as far as it has in the US). I imagine if feminists could get away with chemically castrating all males over the age of 12 until they're legally unbound by the will of a female who's deemed them attractive enough they'd do it, literally.

Though in the aggregate, we as men are the ones to blame for allowing things to go this far.

I mean, I kind of follow on the point of Group identity, being part of a minority always allows you joining specific social circles more easily but we're certainly not living in a world in which being homosexual is in any way preferable over being heterosexual (in terms of having a good/easy life). I don't disagree with this article, at least in sentiment, but could we stop with this bullshit:

The boy wants to run, play, and wrestle. He wants to compete with other boys, explore, take risks, and get hurt. He wants to test the limits of his young body. He wants to be a boy, but this will not be allowed.

Where boys are said to have an 'educational style' that revolves around physical activity and blah blah blah. Boys used to have no problem sitting in a classroom and learning Greek and Latin. I don't think the problem is a lack of sentimentalized boyhood, but a lack of rigor, discipline and challenge in the curriculum.

What really hit home for me was finding TRP and being the same bum!

I have been on here, started my journey to self improvement, and put it on hold because exams and other made up reasons. There is no reason, there is no higher priority than bettering your self.

I am disappointed in my self because I can find excuses. I am a male hamster. I stopped following my diet. I stopped going to the gym. And I stopped learning piano. However, I will NEVER quit! I have been back in the gym for 1 week. I am still hamstering over my diet and piano lessons. But I will never quit. My only contribution to this planet will not be just my rotting body in a pit. No I am not a dent in the worlds resources for no reason, like every other western man has been programmed to do so.

I will skew. I will slack off again. But I will not quit. That's what makes me a man. That is why I am better than any other woman.

I think a lot of guys can relate to this article. It hits really close to home for a lot of us. I remember showing my best friend "The Art of Seduction" and he wanted to "have a talk with me." He said that I shouldn't be reading it and it's basically a guide to manipulate people. I told him he should read it. He told me he didn't like to read. I laughed. I showed my girlfriend the book one time. She hated it. She skimmed through and said some typical 2xchromosome stuff. From reading these lines, you'd think these blogs were about killing babies. It's not overly shocking material. The author needs to get over himself.
