He wasn't stupid so he had a pre-nup (since he made about 200k/year and she made 30k/y).

It doesn't matter if he has a pre-nup. Pre-nups only cover money that you made before the marriage. Anything he made during their 8 year marriage is fair game.

Also it doesn't matter if he "had a cheating clause" in his pre-nup. Since the passage of no-fault divorce it doesn't matter why the couple is no longer together. Family law trumps private contracts. Family law judges can and often do wipe their asses with privately drafted pre-nups and child support agreements. Especially if they decide that it goes against "the best interests of the child" or "the public good". Which can mean basically whatever the judge wants it to mean.

If they haven't had kids he'll still get off much easier. He'll only be looking at losing half of his shit, and possibly alimony due to the disparity of their incomes. Alimony becomes even more likely if his wife quits her job on the advice of her lawyer. God help him if they have children.

Never get married. You have no power. It's a 'heads I win, tails you lose' arrangement; even if your wife is clearly in the wrong. This guy is about to learn it the hard way.

Couple things that were really hilarious: (SPOILER ALERT)

The way the sisters in law wanted to cheat together in what was probably a hotel room orgy
How they immediately ratted each other out while they were still on this "adventure" together
The way the second husband is probably going to take back his whore wife b/c "she got cold feet" (BS).. it will inevitably happen again soon.
A good reminder that money, success, intelligence, etc alone are not enough if you can't manage your wife properly.

I'm curious about the specifics of an anticheating clause in a prenup. If it's something as specific as that, I wonder how well he could lock down. 95-100 of his finances for himself, sounds like a smart guy making great money 8 years out of college who hired a solid lawyer. Now he'll be making his way to TRP to figure out why it started going wrong.

I find it sad that he followed the rules of success in school/job/finances that society gave him, but the laws of success that society gives you for women are bullshit. However, the most interesting thing to note is how you look at all the replies of the threads. Typing "Zacks tiny penis" because he fucks a married woman is to me, quite hilarious, and is in a way shoving the blame of the spouse unto the third party who likely just wanted some ass.

Considering she cheated she probably will get next-to-nothing. Especially if it's a conservative state. That being said fellas, if you're going to marry do it foreign and make sure her income potential (courts don't care about just the present when deciding these things) is at least 70%-100% of yours. So if you make 100k she should make 70k. And if she isn't making 200 when you are making 300 then she should at least be in a field where that is possible.

When you combine this with a balanced prenup and if she is at fault for the split (infidelity in most States except the no-fault states such as NY) then 8 times out of 10 she will get minimal (negligible) assets relative to the sum or sometimes nothing at all.
