Before we begin: Yes, drugs are bad and you shouldn't be dependent on them. If you have/had addiction problems, please hit the back button on your browser and go read about feminists doing shitty things.

Let's wait for them to leave before continuing...

Okay, I think they're gone now.

As we all know, your mental state is foundation of your game. It then follows that substances which affect your mental state can also affect your game.

Responsible adults of TRP who can enjoy the occasional toot of this or that without waking up covered in hooker blood, I'd like to share with you my broad review of the various recreational drugs, both legal and non, based on their ability to affect your game.

Alcohol - Great in moderation, but after a certain point it's more harmful than helpful. Decreased inhibition and reduced mental function are great for pushing you into that DGAF state of mind. Personally, alcohol is my least favorite aid because of the myriad of unpleasant side effects. Beer goggles are a bitch and whiskey dick can render your pull meaningless. Hangovers are also quite unpleasant. I don't think the slight boost in courage is quite worth the deleterious effects on your health. The only thing it has going for it versus other options is it's ease of obtainment and cultural acceptance.

Weed - Absolutely terrible if you want to get laid. Puffing on a J can cause intense introversion, which is generally not good for picking up pump-and-dumps on a night out with the fellas. A little can put you in a nice, mellow mood that may be appropriate at music festivals and other granola-fests, but outside of that, a weed-induced journey into your own mind doesn't have much utility when you're out trying to get your dick wet.

Cocaine - Powdered confidence. Nothing can put you in a state of artificial narcissism quite like a bump of some fishscale. It can turn you into a raging asshole, and we all know how much chicks dig assholes. I mean, if you seriously want to know how much game, i.e., applied overconfidence, really matters, go out and procure an 8-ball of the finest shit you can get your grubby hands on and go to town. You feel like 1 million dollars cash. Talking to anyone is no problem and you do not have the ability to feel self-conscious. The physical side effects are also relatively mild, but cocaine has this tendency to make its users temporarily impervious to the effects of alcohol, resulting in binge drinking and code-red hangovers. Also, dealing with people who do cocaine on the regular is generally not a good idea.

Ecstasy - A mixed bag. No regulation means you never know what you're going to get when you pop. Sometimes it'll put you in a great gregarious mood that can be absolutely infectious, other times it'll make you want to dance in the corner by yourself next to a giant speaker. Very unreliable unless you're going to a rave where everyone will be rolling balls.

Downers - They can be good because they literally remove your ability to feel anything. Ask anyone who spent a while backpacking throughout Thailand: a valium and a couple beers is sublime. A bitch could call you the ugliest motherfucker on the planet since Clint Howard and your only reaction would be "meh". The only problem is that downers sap your motivation to pursue and they're highly addictive and terrible for your liver when mixed with booze.

Hallucinogens - Surprisingly helpful when taken in small doses. Too much obviously will render you incapable of human interaction, but just a little -- I'm talking a half hit of acid or 1 gram of shrooms -- can put you into an interesting space. You lose the ability to take anything seriously, making it easier to crack funny when talking to ladies.

Amphetamines - I don't have much experience with these besides Adderall and Breaking Bad. Perhaps someone from the community can fill us in.

Anabolic Steroids - While they aren't quite "party drugs", they do have a profound effect on your mental state from what I gather. Again, I don't have experience with this stuff so one of you /r/steroids regulars should fill us in.
