There were a lot of privileges you don't realize as well, like making great money, getting preferential treatment, or being dealt with respectfully. It blew my mind to realize that everyone is not entitled to this as a matter of course, but it is reserved for those who are physically desirable.

Pretty much sums it up. Her using the words "blew my mind" and "never occurred to me" pretty much define Solipsism. They are not asked to think about anything outside their bubble and they literally do not.

It brought an interesting thought to my mind -

The crash into the wall is going to be much more "painful" the hotter the female is. A woman in her 20's that is currently a 5 or lower on the looks scale isn't really getting any preferential treatment in society so they may not even be aware of hitting the wall because they aren't treated any differently post-wall.

Attractive girls age 18-25 can bring essentially nothing else to the table other than looks, youth, and "confidence" and they will be richly rewarded.

Gradually, and more in the 30-50 age bracket, those women will gradually lose their looks, while men will generally start to gain more social capital at that age, usually by virtue that they have progressed to attain a better job or societal position, to improve their value proposition.

Obviously there are outlying (uncommon) cases of young men having high value and older women having high value, but it generally follows this arc: Women (have the potential to, at least) start out with an extraordinarily high social and cultural value which they didn't have to do anything to attain. But, the catch is that this value decreases over time as they age and are no longer "hot".

Men start with an extremely deflated social and cultural value (because their value is not intrinsic, it's defined entirely by what they do or what they're worth monetarily, and most 18 year old males aren't rich or self-actualized yet, and almost no man is physically handsome enough to illicit the same kind of reaction that women can get). The obvious upshot for men is that they have the potential to increase this value over time, even into their old age.

Why is it that women seem OK with the first half of this obvious inequality, but they generally act super offended if you acknowledge that old unattractive women have limited value? Is any part of the circumstance "fair"? Young men are perceived as a dime-a-dozen and basically interchangeable, and will be ignored by women in their age group unless they are able to demonstrate some kind of value. Women start with high intrinsic value, and as it decreases with age they are increasingly ignored by men. Neither situation is "fair". But it's simply reality.
