I drove a private hire car early 80s to the mid 90s, North West UK. (Similar to Uber but without the smartphone app, people have to phone for a booking.)

Similar stuff, you get to see the mating habits of the city.

For couples, it was often Tuesdays = stay in for sex. aka the midweek squirt. Saturdays = out on the town with their SO but Fridays was night out with the (same sex) mates and grab whatever strange you can.

I was thinking of making a post like this awhile ago. I drove cab a few years back, in a major collegiate area. I used my ability to talk about just about anything to get quite a few women discussing their problems. That old saying "taxi cab confessionals" is real, for good reason as highlighted above. I had a few that seemed like they had straight up Stockholm syndrome discussing Chad. He was "abusive, manipulative, gets kicked out of all his families' places while living with them, I support him".

It's alarming. This was awhile ago when I was first really reading TRP and it was like a slap in the face. So naturally, over time I baited more and more people with carefully worded TRP truths. Definitely had a fair share of older women complaining about their husbands.

As OP said, you use social tact to know when you pump the brakes on the conservation. When you hear that one you don't try and talk about how you know so much better than everyone else. You never try that, you never preach TRP regardless of setting, anyway. You just reply with something like a mediator, "oh well marriage is a lot of work. Huge commitment, yeah, etc etc"

What OP says is true. You find out what the good hours are and you work those. So weekends, late nights, that's where it was at. It's like a highlight reel in fast-motion of TRP truths. We're not just talking bar sluts, people in town for business conferences, for certain social events, sporting events, bragging to each other about what young guys showed interest in them and then the occasional "my husband would kill me". Pretty sick really.

Quiet girls feeling the buzz fading from being drunk and the center of someone's attention and then it being gone is really apparent too, as OP said.. Sometimes you know whether to just leave them be. The thousand cock stare in it's developmental stages. Hair all frazzled, outfit messed up, Chad just kicked her out. Confirmation bias. Girls at bars will act like girls at bars. If there are women who are in their 30s (late 20s even) who regularly go hard on the weekend they will absolutely be a disaster waiting to happen in terms of relationship material. OP, I do uber/lyft on the side as well and my experience has been extremely similar. They really open up and drop the facade b/c they expect they'll never see you again. It's akin to when they "travel abroad to find themselves" but all they really find is cock all over their faces b/c they know they won't see those guys again.

I had a drunk older woman get in who didn't enter a destination into the system. I asked her where she wanted to go and she says "to get another drink with you!". I politely laugh and say "I wish I could" and got the trip started. Immediately she starts complaining about her (even older than her) husband. He's "boring" now and doesn't want to do all the "fun stuff" he did when they first started dating. I ask if she has any solid proof and of course she doesn't.
