For those interested, go read/listen to The War Against Boys. This is a clear cut explanation, by a woman, explaining how feminist interest groups have and still are lobbying endlessly for the advancement of girls within the education system. No such advocacy exists for boys. The stats are out, and the pendulum has already swung far past equality in our classrooms. Boys have been left behind, and the results are here before us. Since the author separates "dating" and "mating" we can assume "mating" refers to long-term relationships and in that case this is entirely correct. Due to the incredibly easy access to sex or a close-enough simulation (HD porn) it's a lot easier for men to think with something other than their dicks and thus be much choosier when it comes to long-term relationships. Add to that the fact that modern women are actively encouraged to lower their relationship value its no surprise at all that women are struggling to find LTRs - they're simply not actually worthy.
