Alpha dude (6foot5 (alot taller than I am), skinny (me too, I'm lifting hard though), dark) of the group is an annoying piece of shit as he is constantly negging everybody.

The girls *love* it, are in awe as he (not-so-subtly) tries to be ahead of the group every time we walk, talks loudly, interrupts people, loudly points out the mistakes of others, etc... They laugh loudly with his "jokes" (often, he'll repeat a joke I said, only saying it louder), and they make sexual innuendo's and try to be around the guy as often as possible. He's got a girlfriend (outside of the group), so he doesn't make any serious moves. He'll flirt constantly though. Or better said: he doesn't decline the flirting of the girls (which they obviously adore as well).

The guys either accept the negging, ignore it (and fade away into quietness) or oppose (such as me) but seem frustrated, annoyed and weak in the process.

(i.e. When he talks loudly pointing out your mistakes: it's funny. When point out his: I look frustrated).

To be honest: I AM frustrated. It's really tiring to keep reacting to the constant negging, pointing out he's interrupting you, trying to talk as loudly as he is (as my voice isn't as resonant as his). Ignoring isn't really an option, since when the guys do it, they disappear into the background).

I can't leave this group of people, it's part of my education. I'm not trying to bang any of the girls (you don't shit where you eat), though I'd like some respect. I hate being seen as weak.

This has been going on for a couple of months now. At first I thought everybody would get fed up by his arrogant behavior. The exact opposite happened.

How do I deal with this guy?
