The only time 'cockblocking' is acceptable, and in that case it is not even cockblocking, is when a guy is hitting on a girl who isn't interested and then she asks for your help to get her out of it.

In other words, if a 'friend' is cockblocking you, he is not your friend. I have friends in situations when we were both interested in the same girl, and we would always work it out either by making and agreement who will go for her or subtly testing to see which one is she into.

My roommate and best friend in college would purposely try to cockblock me. I became single summer before senior year and lived in downtown of a major east coast city. I was doing really well with hooking up, sometimes 2-3 hookups a week, so he would start really just trying to fuck with me (it was hilarious because in all honesty i was getting laid consistently all year, it was a slut phase for sure).

There’s these two dudes I work with that are the biggest cockblocking simps I know. Anytime a pretty woman appears and talks to any other male coworker of mine these assholes appear from nowhere like they have to make their presence known and interrupt the conversation to the point where I just walk away. Every single one of these women have told me they don’t like these guys because they interrupt and hijack our conversation and it feels like they’re showing off (which they are). There was even a day where me and one of the guys were cleaning a ware room and this really beautiful woman that I’m friends with walks in and says “oh damn why’s it so messy?” (After holiday season) And this pathetic simp instantly stops working to talk to her and says “yeah AmmoTuff why’s it messy?”. He told me afterwards that what I did wasn’t cool and etc. but would not acknowledge how he threw me under the bus. Later on Becky said she felt awkward at first but that someone needed to put him in his place like that.

You need to have more confidence than them. These types of people crack under pressure. Staying in frame as non-judgmental as possible helps since those that react the strongest emotionally end up losing. That doesnt mean you let them run the set but you do let them tie their own noose.
