I see lot's of discussion about what age men as a whole peak, but from my experiences this seems short sighted and reductive.

From my friend group I find different men have their peaks at different times.

One friend of mine had the most legendary time during highschool. Dude had a hot girlfriend, was super popular, and overall got his way. Fast forward 10 years and he's a joke. Man's living in the past and has weak career prospects.

Another friend peaked I'd say in his early 20s. High school was rough for him, but he joined lots of clubs, dressed well and upped his charisma, and he had tons of friends and eventually met his now wife.

Then there's me lmao. Video-game nerd in high school, druggie in college, but now in my late 20's I have a crazy salary as a FAANG engineer, am in better shape than my 2 friends, and every date I go on the girls seem like they're trying to impress me/are nervous. Any group conversation and people shut up when I speak.

It seems like I might just be entering my own peak.

So I'm now wondering if guys enter peaks at different times in their life? Perhaps it's even genetic, we know a lot of personality is determined by brain and body chemistry, I don't think it's far fetched to think genes play a role here.

What do you guys think?

P.S. Coming from a conservative culture, family is pressuing me to get married. But if I know in my gut I'm entering a potentially promiscuious period, why would I unfairly bring a wife into that? I would rather not be married than be adulterous.
