I do a lot of travelling for work and I've been pretty successful with tinder. The secret is that the algorithm refreshes you to the top of whatever area you visit, so you're more likely to get matches. Usually I can get about 4-5 matches if I'm staying somewhere for more than 2 days.

When I get a match, almost the first thing I do is playfully ask them where to find good restaurants in the area, or attractions. Depending on the response, I'll then pivot the convo to see if they are feeling spontaneous enough to accompany me for food. I am also upfront about being there temporarily too. Once the date is secured, the rest is up to you.

I've done this dozens of times with plenty of dates ending in sex.

In terms of pulling in person... I'll be watching this thread for advice lol

These all assume that you have no issue being social and can approach anyone anywhere.

Find out what the popular hookup app is in the area and download it. Pay the fee so you can customize your locations. I would say try to start matching with women a couple of days before you get there, so you can setup dates upon arrival. Make this clear in your profile too.
Find out about adult social events when you will be there. Like a Singles Mixer, DnD meet ups, Bar Crawls for example.
Foreign Language exchange. If you travel internationally, this is a must. Find places that encourage native speakers to speak with foreigners. This is a great way to meet women

Lastly, the general rule is to be social and try to chat with at least 25 random people. Doesn't matter who they are, what you want is to build a social circle of people who like you and who you can hang with wile you travel. If done right, that can be a constant source of meeting women.

Based off your lack of experience, youre literally trying to jump ten steps at once which isnt how this works.

Also um....kind of funny you call the women youre approaching the tourist when...youre the tourist yourself.

Nonetheless, youre better off using these travel opportunities as a way to work on approaches ITSELF.

Not literally trying to configure how to get laid, but how to actually APPROACH a woman FIRST.

Get that down and then start worrying about getting laid.

Dating apps are basically designed for this. If your profile is strong then you can get dates wherever you go and the technique is the same as apps anywhere
Go out. Go with your traveling group or meet some people at your hostel to some bars or clubs. Find a cute girl and tell her you think she's cute and offer to buy a drink, then standard escalation from there
Warm circles. Going back to the hostel situation, if there's someone cute you think is cute, then try to go out with them all as a group then use the opportunity to strike up conversation with them, and again into standard escalation

Different places require different approaches

In Paris and LA for some reason if you tell the women you are only there for a few days or weeks they loose interest, you have to say you’re looking to move there… then they wanna fuck your before anyone else does

In less touristy areas you can say I’m only here for a few days, n if they like you they’ll take the chance of a lifetime lol
