Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, Match, Field, etc are all owned by the same company. They're all trying to get you to stay on the platform as long as possible AND spend your money to maybe get a better outcome.

Tinder's always been what I give to my married friends to let them play around on my account. It's much like social media - absolutely not real and you shouldn't rely on it for any sort of validation. You can have killer photos and the perfect bio and still get no matches; there's someone behind the curtain manipulating your success to drive revenue.

Hinge on the other hand has surprisingly been good. Uploaded my profiles to ChatGPT…told me I give off a more mature profile and Tinder isn’t the place for me as it’s more for casual flings. 🤷

Either way, 2026 goal is start cold approaching. Never done it in my entire life and I’m 36.

I dont use it personally, but I understand it's supposed to be more of a passive investment of time. Put up a good profile with good pictures and use it for 1 hour a day. Quickly funnel into a date and if she's hesitant you move on. Hopefully IRL game gives you a sense of abundance and you'll quickly abandon tinder girls if they aren't interested in moving things forward.

You’re not a cartoon character.

You don’t need to announce your intentions or seek validation from an audience for them.

Tinder isn’t bad or good. It’s what you make of it. It will still exist whether you’re on it or not.

You will get infinite more traction with any woman you can look into their eyes, hear the sound of their voice, and feel their touch, because you’ll be able to form an actual connection with a real person.

And sometimes Tinder can help lead you to the aforementioned. Either way go outside. From most of what I’ve seen online, the dudes shitting on tinder and dating apps, are the ones using it as a replacement for having an actual social life.
