I think at some point it’s also just about having standards. Like you don’t need to seduce her and I think you can sometimes just give in.

If I was seeing someone and they did this to me, I’d lose all interest. It just isn’t respectful and I’m too old to play around tests like this. I’d just be honest and say I think it’s a bit disrespectful and ask why she thought it was a good idea to show me herself with another man.

But if you’re fully intending on seeing this one out, I’d maybe joke about it. “Oh is that your fiancé? You better invite me to the wedding!” “You guys are such a cute couple! What did he get you?”

I think there's plenty of ways to ask that don't come off across as insecure. Just some enthousiastic "Merry Christmas" and a very light "who is he?" type comment should carry a nice tone.

Eg "Have a merry Christmas you guys! Family of yours?"

She’s not respecting your dating relationship. Tell her that it looks like she’s found a “new boo. Congratulations.🥳” After that, let her do all of the pursuing. Don’t reach out to her, but make sure she’s matching your interest.

Or, you can send her a picture of you with a woman. The bottom line is to make sure she’s matching where you want the relationship you have to go. If you want romance between the two of you while she plays the field, get her comfortable, alone, entice her imagination, kiss her, etc.

If you want a relationship with her, you’re going to have to seduce and stimulate her emotions more because she’s clearly not there. The only thing you can do is possibly make her jealous with a picture of you with an EVEN MORE attractive woman, or give her the gift of missing you. Or you can try to stimulate her emotions and seduce her. There’s no telling what exactly she will do. But telling her you’re emotional about her dating other men will not change her mind. Her emotional state changes her affection for you. Your emotional state doesn’t matter to her.

There are many good answers in this thread to choose from, and the right one really depends on your perspective and who you are.

Personally, I would consider this a shit test, without a doubt. But not an impossible one. I agree that calling out the disrespect or directly asking about the other guy will only make you lose the shit test. Ignoring it entirely isn’t ideal either, as it still comes across as if you got hurt.

This is one of the reasons why one should date multiple women. If one woman pulls such shit test, I simply send her a photo of me with other women in a similar fashion. It sends a clear message: I have options, and I’m surrounded by other high-quality women, I didn’t get jealous. It’s a subtle but effective way to show that I’m a high-value man who others desire.

In fact, one could even go so far as to approach an attractive woman on the street and ask her to take a quick selfie with me, casually explaining that I want to make my ex, who dumped me before Christmas, jealous. Trust me, women love this type of thing! It’s both a compliment, non - needy and it includes a bit of gossip which women love.

Is it a little childish? Sure. But let’s be honest—the entire game is then childish. You just have to know how to play it.

You have no responsibility to respond to insults. Nor should you. Responding to that makes you look weak and gay.

I would just not respond at all and ghost her. If she ever reached back out to you, I would say "sorry I can't have a relationship with a girl with a bf" make her beg to get back into your good graces.

In a way you’ve kind of answered your own question, you could ask if the guy is a boyfriend cause that is a real boundary for you. That’s not an insecurity it’s just an honest question and makes sense to me imo. Shows high value maturity too as you’re being upstanding and empathetic through considering him as opposed to it being about you.

You can confront her if you want, focus on making her clarify her singleness status, if she keeps giving mixed signals tell her that you can't keep dating her, as a boundary.

There is a difference between a shit test and a total boundary violation. The problem with being worried about responding to shit tests right is it comes from a place of trying to say the right thing to pass the test and impress her. Instead you need to have standards of your own and if she is violating your standards you need to be willing to walk away.

I would have texted, "I don't want to date women in relationships. Are you in a relationship with this guy?" And then "Its disrespectful to send me pictures with another guy and that really pissed me off. Why did you do that?"

Or if you can take a pic with a female friend or date and send it back in response or send her an old one.
