Edit: After seeing what people have commented, I guess I must clarify. It's not about being depressed and deciding that you won't pursue women because you can't get them and it's not about turning them away when they come to you. It's about being confident in your own skin and knowing that you don't need anybody else to be happy. When you achieve this they'll notice and they will be attracted to you.

What if I have zero self-esteem? What if I'm shit ugly, knowing that women are attracted to looks above all else? What if I'm 100% certain that I can't be happy without women, without companionship? What if I think that I don't deserve any women, that they'd be losing out by not selecting one of the many available males of much higher value? What if I hate most people, most women, because I've been neglected/rejected for so many years, and have no desire to talk to them?

Therapy? Check. Anti-depressants? Check. Any other suggestions?

This is so easy to say, yet look down the comments. Excuses, everyone saying why they can't. Of course they CAN, it takes fucking less than a minute! It's mental blocks and limiting beliefs keeping these people in their chairs reading, i know because i've been one of them for almost a year now. It's hard doing those first approaches.

Even though I'm super late in this thread and nobody will see this, let's start with something simple. Go out, find a girl (or any person, really), and say EXACTLY this:

Hey, excuse me! You have to help me out here: I got 2 movie tickets for free and a girl to go with me, but I can't quite decide what movie we should go watch. Got any idea if there's anything good at theatres right now?

Nothing clever, nothing flirty or teasy or 'pickup line'-y, just a topic that you can ask anybody and that will get a conversation going. NOW GO DO THAT

I think these posts are pretty pathethic. There was the "I'm your nemesis" post, which was so stupid I almost had to vomit. Now it's you, telling everyone at home to go outside right now.

The idea behind your post is fine. Even the idea behind the nemesis post was fine. But do you seriously think someone is going to read this (or that other post), say "yeah, he's right, fuck my fears, I'll go outside now" and actually approach someone? That this post will be the thing he/she needs? You and I both know that's not going to happen.
