Man I just found out about this sub, browsed just a little bit and stopped on this post below. Among the hateful comments, one commented on how the guy said he meet 15 other girls that month, and that they could spot that he is pua a mile away. I replied asking how many men does a typical girl meet in the period of a month at clubs etc. Then I read the subreddit's description. It orders it's followers to REPORT MEN so that they will get banned. A FEMALE DATING SUB THAT BANS MEN. This thing is just a joke. It's SO full of hatred against men and pua, while at the same time they call the subreddit "dating strategy"?

Personally, I just saw this post from "all" or something.
I'm not in that phase in life, but I remember these "reactions".
It's from people who want to both insist that "it's stupid shit that can't work" AND want to make sure they know about everything so they don't have "that shit that doesn't work" "done to them".
It's both "you can't mind control people" AND "omg, you shouldn't be allowed to mind control people wtf".
I was around when the "negging" phase was starting to be "mainstream" and this shit was hilarious.
Every single time a guy rejected someone or brushed them off it was meet with "Omg, you're just negging me! This means you do want me, but I am now rejecting you!"
There were some HUGE cope all around. Well, things haven't changed much. People who aren't desirable just read this shit to give themselves validation when someone rejects them, blaming it on "game".
Yes, Tiffany 2/10 will read this shit up, get another cat, and then blame all men because "pick up" exists, and thus all men are running games and are "PUA".
Can't tell you the number of times I've seen guy who were just awkward, no running game, and being accused of doing it.
They've ran out of insult so instead of calling awkward people awkward, or incel, or whatever, they had just started saying that these guys are "pick up artists".
This does have it's advantage though, because if you "get in" and she doesn't think you're one, she'll double down to reinforce the idea you aren't one, because oh fucking lord they could never have been wrong in the first place.
Anyways, as always, just ignore the 2/10 who screech on the internet and everywhere else, they have no idea who is whom, and they'll just bark at anything all the time like a chiwawa barks at everything. No, but the vast, vast, vast majority of people who are overweight are overweight due to poor diet and lack of exercise.
The thyroid thing is HILARIOUSLY overblown. A prolonged period of obesity leads to desensitization of TSH receptors leading to hypothyroidism. So, yes, it can become more difficult to lose weight after you’ve been overweight for a long time... but the reason most people are overweight in the first place is from poor diet and lack of exercise.

That just depends on where you stand on whether or not depression is something that is intrinsic or something that you can control with your own behavior.
These are both, in my mind, an issue of “which came first”. Most people think the hypothyroidism is causing their obesity, when in fact, the obesity caused their hypothyroidism (this applies to most but not all hypothyroidism)... but I also feel like most people with depression who live a sedentary lifestyle and don’t take care of themselves blame those behaviors on their depression... when, in my experience, it’s actually the other way around. Everyone I’ve ever known who has been depressed has shown marked improvement if they started exercising and taking care of themselves. Again, obviously there are some cases of refractory depression, bipolar disorder, etc that take the next level of care...
But overall, my point is that everyone that I’ve ever encountered that got the fuck up, worked out consistently, and ate a low carb/high protein diet has beaten obesity almost immediately. Take those steps, then make excuses. Not the other way around.

Depressive episodes are absolutely caused by neural function. Behavioral techniques (i.e. cognitive behavioral therapy) can be an effective treatment but it is absolutely not a panacea nor is it "controlling" depression. It is just that, a treatment.
What about someone with a Hypocretin deficiency that can't control their eating? When rats are deprived of Hypocretin they eat their food then they start to eat their bedding, plastic, whatever they can consume.
Please don't assume that everyone has the agency to just start eating high protein low carb and exercise regularly. "Everyone you know" is anecdotal at best and is not a basis to make broad assumptions about our species as a whole.

Are you implying that behavior plays no role in depression? Are you implying that health and mental wellbeing aren’t linked?
I made several concessions throughout my post that there ARE cases to whom what I’m saying doesn’t apply and yet you’re still up in arms about this. All I’m saying is that for the vast majority of cases, obesity can be managed via lifestyle changes, and those same lifestyle changes have a dramatic effect on depression. Please find me any study or any physician that says otherwise.
The main point of my post was to stop looking for excuses until you’ve exhausted the conservative measures first. Again, find me any study or physician that will tell you those conservative measures won’t resolve the majority of cases.
Oh and I never took a stand on whether or not I feel like depression is intrinsic or a result of your own behavior, because it’s obviously a more complex issue than that and varies from person to person.
You look like you’re desperately grasping at straws, because you don’t like what I say. You like your excuses. You look pathetic.

It is not so much the getting out there and trying to get into contact with people (which I think is the main goal), rather than when it is becoming just that, when women are given personality tags that will tell the approacher to go for it or run. I think the part that is most difficult for me is, let's say you meet someone, all good, get to know one another, so you tell her all the science/tactics behind it? I go back and forth with all of this. In the end, I try not to focus on the scripts or strategies. I really ignored that in favor of getting over the fear of approaching and learning how to have a normal conversation with a woman.
That said, I can't just go up to a woman and be all dopey. I want to be charming, and that's something that can and should be learned.
There used to be a clip online of a coach who pulled a woman over to show his student how to talk to her. He flat out told her he was a dating coach.
At one point, he tells his student to maintain good eye contact and slow his voice down.
"That's so manipulative!" she says disgusted.
Now, there certainly are manipulative tactics in cold approach – and I encourage men to avoid them. But he's just telling his student how to talk to a woman. Both of those are simple, easy ways to appear confident. It's like telling someone giving a speech to look at the tops of everyone's heads.
Not sure if you have a take on something like that specifically – learning how to be charming and confident. But I agree, if guys are trying to work off a script or "hack" a woman, something is wrong.

I've never had a serious relationship from cold approach and am not currently looking for one.
Most women I've gone out with casually from it more or less assume this is something I've done before. Maybe I'm just attracting the type of woman who is cool with that. Maybe women in general don't care if your approach is good enough.
I've had other struggles with social anxiety and my social life – in many ways I still do. Cold approach was just one way to overcome them, but not really the main way. I'm very open with people about how I've pushed myself to get past some of those barriers.
So, if the topic of learning confidence, etc. comes up, that's really more where the conversation goes. I talk about learning to make conversation with baristas or taking an acting class. Really, those were the most important things to help me get comfortable socially.

Other than the high school outcast one, being a virgin at 24 in a few months (and I've done plenty of hand/mouth stuff), and having poor casual fashion, none of this really applies to me. I've definitely taken a somewhat autistic fixation on game and I've slowed my progress rapidly by repeating the same indirect routines rather than having the confidence to go more direct, but I will say that without this sub and cold approach, I would be kissless and dateless at 23. I've fucked ip so many approaches and at least 8 dates/instadates, but I'd have had 0 of those dates to fuck up in the first place without game.
I've practiced game about 4 years now and have 1 ltr, 1 hookup, 8 dates (though many I wasn't clear enough about it being a date), like a dozen instadates, probably 60 or more numbers, at least 2 really hot girls who were clearly into me if I'd have been mature enough to see it, and priceless knowledge and confidence gained by going from a boy who would shiver while talking to girls to a man who can confidently talk to women and do things to maximize his chances of getting a date. So while these stats seem mediocre, and I'll admit i should've been prioritizing some things in my life over game, I don't regret the time I've invested in Seddit, and I really think that I'm on the verge of actually finding the typing of dating life I want, when this lockdown ends. I would be a lost cause without this sub.

I don't think it's an insult, I'm just trying to say that while a lot of us actually do exhibit a lot of these traits at first, Sedddir helps us grow out of them.
