In my humble opinion, inner game is something that you can't get by watching a video, reading an article, or attending a conference. It's something you get by doing stuff and getting real life experiences.

I'm not going to defend RSD nor am I associated with them but a lot of the newer free tour videos were quite on point. Tyler is big on overall self improvement - he heavily advocates meditation, eating a healthy diet, and reading. But for anyone new to pickup, he might not realize why doing these things are relevant to getting lays.

I think Blueprint is quite comprehensive, but it was sort of raw. To guys that grew up being very reactive and beta, its a great eye opener. Otherwise, most normal guys can just stick to routines like you said and prevent getting into all the spiritual analysis paralysis.

I think most of this is more due to you being 18 and nerdy than due to RSD.

Thank you for sharing your experience though, I think it can be enlightening for anyone thinking about getting into pickup.

I think the underlying message is GO OUT AND APPROACH!!! Your biggest issue here is sitting around reading a bunch of material rather than using it out in the field, I think most if not all of the issues you bring up would work themselves out by being out and social. Going out is a feedback loop, without trying stuff you are reading in field, you are missing the feedback loop and can spiral out of reality like you did

RSD fanboi here downvote me all you want, but rsd+seddit helped me a tonnnnn. RSD in paticular helped me a lot, but maybe its because I align with their viewpoints on a lot of things, and personally enjoy the self help aspects much more so then the outergame aspects. In my opinion if you have strong enough innergame then your outergame is just the cherry on top anyway since you should already be successful.

In all honesty though its just different styles for different people. I will continue to support rsd because they have helped me a lot, but can see how maybe they don't work for everyone and that is fine. This is why there is more then just rsd out there.

I'm certainly not and RSD fan boy. I think there stuff is good for intermediates who do already get laid a little and are comfortable with woman and who go to clubs and want to get faster and more regular pulls.

Giving their stuff to noobs with few social skills is like giving a little kid dynamite. Shit's going to get messy. One of my wings is a 20 year old virgin, with not great social skills. He needs to learn how to have normal conversations with girls, but he's all RSD'd up so he's trying to eye fuck them and grab them as soon as he see's them. Because he doesn't have enough experience with women he doesn't realise how off his non verbals are, so he comes across as freaky.

All in all the material isn't bad, but it really depends who you are, 'where' you are and how you use. OP is the wrong person in the wrong place and using it wrong.

Everything you will learn from PUA companies are maps. They are paradigms, designed to guide you in your journey. There are a million paradoxes, as there is no one way to pickup chicks, when every chick is different. Hyper-analysis of any method will likely lead to confusion, or to a plateau in skills.

You probably don't have the personal references experiences to relate to RSD type of materials. Their material is often philosophical in nature and incredibly paradoxical from instructor to instructor. As in all self-help, it is recommended that you take what resonates with you, and you leave all else behind. If you don't understand, then leave it behind.

When you have an egoless experience, and you can relate to what that means, perhaps you will understand more of what they are saying. If not, of course it's going to be confusing, and can lead to paranoia when you take it as an inconceivable truth that you must understand or you will fail at life. That's silly. All 'knowledge' in this area is not fact, but opinion.

Everyone should seek their own experiences with rsd and any other company. As multiple resources can really bring together the 'big picture'. It all comes down to being able to relate, the way you learn, and your personal goals.

RSD has personally revolutionized my life over the last 3 years, and I havn't given the a dime. I'm sorry your experience wasn't what you wanted. If you can't read the map, then find something easier to read. Even then you still need to get out there and experience the territory for yourself. Experience is king.

I never really liked RSD. They opened my eyes for game with Tyler's book and The Blueprint Decoded but when I was watching it, I just felt like a guy talked for 3 hours and I had learned nothing about picking up women. I then changed to heartiste blog and nowadays I mostly read heartiste and seddit material, and I feel like it's more than suffice for what I want to accomplish.

Owen and Julien are the only dating coaches I trust. Your experience with them was based on their paid products, right? In my opinion, their paid products suck. I like their freetour videos way better. I haven't found another company/instructor that I relate to the way I do those guys. The infield footage is realistic, the things they say and do are achievable. Love systems has some great products, but they seem so robotic and machine like. Its hard to relate to their instructors and believe they are even good with women.

Blueprint and most of the free content RSD put out assumes you've already watched Foundations. Owen even tells people to bit torrent it.

In my opinion RSD is great. In my experience this is because instead of training yourself to be a fake person with routines and memorized pick-up lines. You truly transform yourself into a healthy and functional person. This means having bad days and being able to be real with yourself.

I agree, RSD is confusing. They're very good at getting you excited, but then leaving you feeling like you're just missing that one crucial part that will make everything fall into place.

I think the field reports part of their forum is good, though. Lots of people posting straight up reports of what they're doing, what works and what doesn't, and you can get a feel for what the progress curve looks like. Just don't get stuck living vicariously through other people's FRs.

Isn't RSD mostly advanced level shit or more inner game stuff anyway? Also I always thought it was recommended to start with Foundations, then Transformations and then finally blueprint decoded.

Your problem is that you FRIED your brain by CONTINUING to consume and consume and consume more and more theory. What tyler means by "The blueprint will hit you on a new level each time you watch it" He means it, he means if you watch it A YEAR FROM NOW you'll learn something new.

For example, first time I watched it I was actually a lot younger than you, about 16 years old. It fried my brain but I Was also going out at least 3 nights a week and it really helped me

I was going out for about 6 months until I got my first real kiss close, and that was after I watched the bit from ozzy from transformations about closing, and LO AND BEHOLD I closed THAT DAY.

Real Social Dynamics is for, more than anything GUYS WHO HAVE BEEN GOING OUT FOR A LONG TIME.

Love Systems Instructor Here - I'm biased.

First, I'm surprised by the downvotes, this is news and relevant, even if you disagree with it.

Second, although I'm obviously not impartial, the fact is, RSD does a lot of putting down their students, and lowering their self-esteem, while pretending to teach them. They also make their stuff confusing. This is a common cult/influence tactic. Tell people how bad they are, how you can help them, but then make it really hard for them to understand the help you are pretending to give them. The result: you control them. Look at pretty much every religion out there.

RSD has some good advice, but it's packaged with some really bad stuff alongside it. Confident guys can separate out the good from the bad, but vulnerable/suggestible guys often can't.

This appears to be completely deliberate.

Downvote this all you want, but it's true. Their instructors also seem to have a terrible attitude towards women.

I've been looking into A LOT of RSD stuff lately and while I'm not a fan of Love Systems either, RSD is incredibly hit or miss. I'd say in a 30 minute video, there's about 5 - 10 minutes of actually useful information. I remember coming across a 20 page pdf called The RSD Tactical manual and that basically sums up all of the useful information you'll get out of them. The rest is on constant repeat with very little new content.

RSD is good but definitely not the best. They're great for a beginner cause it's easy to understand:

Open - Hook - Comfort- Close

as opposed to

Open - F2M attraction - M2F Attraction - Conversation - Connection - Intimacy - Foreplay - LMR - Close

Or Love System's structure which is just a bit longer.

Still I suggest: Learn from everyone, keep what's useful, trash what isn't.

I watched the Blueprint and didn't understand it AT ALL. Tyler promised that you would get more and more out of it every time you watched. So there was a period of time in my life that I watched it multiple times every day and ALL I got out of it was SELF CONSCIOUSNESS. I was now in a period of my life where I was the MOST ANXIOUS EVER. Not even as a nerdy 13 year old I was this anxious and insecure. Literally, I was second guessing myself in ALL social interactions, even with close friends. My friends asked me what I had done, why I was so "weird". I was completely unable to make new friends and my social skills went to shit. I cannot put the finger on EXACTLY what it was, but it was this kind of weird feeling of not "knowing it all yet", so I could NOT give myself permission to be confident, to be the guy I knew I was capable of, it was like I was hooked into RSD's teachings in a never ending search for the "golden knowledge".

I was about to make a post in AskSeddit about the same thing!!! Ever since I "discovered' PUA, I have been stressing and over analyzing every single detail of every single social interaction that I have. I am always looking for IOIS and reactions from the girl and after I am done talking to them, I beat myself up because I said something wrong or acted shy or something.

I also carefully plan whatever I say to a girl, I used to just say whatever naturally, now I can definitely feel that I am trying way too hard during conversations, almost to the point that I am robotic. It's really fucking with me.

Honestly I like a lot of their stuff. They often warn if you don't go out enough theres too much information for you to grasp.

It took me a good while to get good at socializing. It was late high school and early college that I developed a skill to talk to almost anyone.

Then I started cold approaching at clubs (which was insanely hard at first, but got much easier). Only then did the ideas really give me major success. Earlier I had tried the ideas and really didn't like most of them. If I was normally socializing with friends, I wouldn't use most of these.

Their material is REALLY good for cold approaching, not so much social circle or girls in your classes. I remember watching their foundations program and having that help me a lot in the beginning

I'm guessing some day you'll appreciate RSD. Personally, Tyler is my favorite instructor out there.

The problem is accessibility. Outer game strategies like openers and congruence tests are tangible concepts for beginners to latch onto, and important to know as well, but there is something more important out there to know. Self confidence. When you have it, I mean when you really have it, the rest becomes unnecessary. RSD puts you on the right path, but the trickier path too.

When my 3 year relationship ended and I got back into the game, I was shocked that Tyler wasn't regarded as a piece of shit by the community. I still thought of him as the manipulative social-robot megadoosh from "The Game" but seddit told me to give him a chance so I did.

I was floored. Every single thing said in the blueprint resonated with me as profound truth. It struck me as the direction the community was destined to head. Admittedly, I've seen it get in people's heads and mess them up. I've seen that with many a source of PUA material. I can't speak to the other instructors, but Owen Cook fucking gets it. Like, the big IT.

Wait a few years and give it another go, for your sake. I don't work for RSD, so torrent it for all I care, just come back to it in a few years. It sounds like you got more in your head from RSD. That's the opposite of the point.

Concepts like egolessness, presence, state, self love, not giving a fuck, these things are absolutely KEY. Not just in game, in life. Tony Robbins preaches the same stuff. It's the way to transcend the ranks of the ordinary, but not everyone is ready for it.

Also, it's a lot to take in. You shouldn't feel bad. I certainly wouldn't have understood it at 18. And I'm not taking away from 18 year olds. I bet we could have a blast hanging out and you could teach me tons about ton, but 10 years of life experience are significant.

For me anyway, after learning the fundamentals of outer game, Blueprint Decoded is the last material I'll ever need. I hang around seddit still because I love learning about this stuff, but when I really need to remember the important things...RSD

NOTE: I'm not saying in any way that I support Tyler's pronunciation of the words been or resource. I'm also not entirely sure he knows who Jay Cutler is.

You should never have expected Blue Print or any RSD material to turn your life around. That comes from action, and only action. No other way to put it.

Part of the problem is you did it to yourself. I am pretty sure very few people can be left alone, completely unsupervised, and learn something from abstract material.

There are some good things in RSD materials. But it's like they went "this is where we are now, how we see things" and they talk about it. But they don't provide much information on how to get there. We can't just skip over the work, and the accumulation of experience and absorb those world views. There is no shortcut. If you're a little inexperienced then a learning plan and a sort of structure for approaching is a great thing.

You can't just watch a philosophy vid and go out and crush it.

btw: they "hire" people to work for zero dollars; they will trick you into unadvertently signing for recurring monthly payment;, and customer service only responds if its about new money: they won't respond if its about refunds or schedule issues.

to summarize: RSD is not trustworthy.

I agree. Did not like rsd at all. I was 18 as well though. Overrated stuff I know what you mean by confusion. Most natural "game" is not a game and instead is just you being the most animated about being yourself and loving life. And as long as there are girls to see it... Awesome.

I have yet to consume anything from RSD other than the Free Tour videos. Since reading Double Your Dating about 7 years ago I haven't really done much pickup (got into a LTR - big mistake) and I'm only now getting back into it after having read The Game. I've been in the research phase for about a week. I find the Free Tour videos to be awesome. There IS a paradoxical relationship between Inner Game and how it appears to others, and Tyler makes reference to it; you have to try hard but not look like you're trying hard. You have to do the right things but not give a shit - all of that must be interalized.

And that's what you're missing. You're trying to change your personality in front of your friends. Friends are poison when you're working on your Inner Game. They'll insult you and resent your trying to improve yourself. What you need to do is go out and practice: sarging is always the answer. I know this and I haven't even done it yet.
