How do you avoid getting attached to one girl when you don't yet have a large contact list to game? I'm improving fast, but I don't have that many numbers to set up dates with yet.

It's becoming a bit of a challenge to avoid taking the easy route and focusing too much attention on the easy option from the past.

(Just starting on this subreddit) I have a very detached and nerdy circle of friends. Going to bars is entirely out of the question for most of them. While I realize that going solo is my best option; what do I do when I make it to the bar; i.e: do I sit and try to stay at the bar and talk to the people around me or do I try to join the other groups that happen to be at the tables?

I isolated and tried to kiss a girl at a party on saturday and got rejected.

I talked to her the next day on facebook and our conversation went awesome, with her going as far as to say "why were you interested in me when there were so many other girls there" so i gave her my number and told to call me sometime if she wanted to hang out.

Now it's Tuesday and I havent heard a peep from her either through FB or phone.

Advice?

Asking out a girl with a erratic work schedule, while maintaining a leading role?

So i have been out once with this girl but even that was a struggle of finding (her) a suitable time. Problem is i can't text her saying "Hey i'm at X come join me!" or something similar because chances are high she is working or will be working shortly after. She also lives an hour away so she goes there when not working for longer periods of time (her work being in my town, though). So my chances are pretty much meeting up after/between work days.

So even though i'd want to take the lead and make the plans i'm always dependent on her work schedule for when to meet up, how would you go about asking her out? Suggest a day and time then juggle it back and forth until you find one that suits, or ask her out to some activity then let her tell me when she's free?

So short version; how do i take the lead when i'm dependent on her work schedule for when we can meet?

Any tips on talking to artists, musicians, performers, etc. I really like performance artists, but I feel that because I admire them for their art I tend to put them on a pedestal and my frame goes to shit. Some of them seem really prepared to ward off the men that try to talk to them at the end of their show so I'm not very aggressive in my approach. A lot of these women stick to other artists, and I'm working on that aspect of my inner game by developing my own artistic skills. I also talk and get to know the male artists they perform with. E.G. I'll talk to a guy in the backup band before I bring the target female singer in the set. But closing that singer/songwriter, bellydancer, etc seems just out of reach.

As an 18 year old, where is the best place to go and meet people outside of school? I live in the LA area, if any of you have anything.

If you consecutively ask a girl out to do things, she accepts to some but to other she doesn't. Either way, I feel as if I might seem desperate by asking girls out repetitively even if they say yes to some days, are my speculations right?

For girls, I know the simple "Hi my name is -----, strike up convo" procedure, but what is the best nonchalant way to ask her for her #?

Also, it's NOT okay for guys to give out their numbers, right?

I'm religious and therefore not sexually active. A lot of what I've read here has been advice on getting a girl back to my place for sex, getting a girl at a bar, etc. I'm not trying to pick up girls at church per se, but it seems like if I don't want to manipulate the psyche of a lady into going far enough with me that she'll feel a connection based on that (or that I'll get lucky and consider it a one-nighter) then I'm out of luck.

Help me out here, if I'm not drinking and not trying to get laid, what's the approach?

currently there's kind of a festival on my campus. Tomorrow I'll be one of the bartenders. This festival is once per year and in the last two years I've noticed how easy you can get in touch with everybody when you're behind the counter. Unfortunately I haven't taken the chances so far.

Meet this girl a month ago and we communicate via text most of the time. Meeting up with her recently has become a mission, seems she would rather go with her friends then schedule time for me when I invite her out to party's or to hang out. Which is where I get mixed signals when she randomly texts me saying she's thinking about me.

Ok. So there's this new girl in my class well... she basically pretty new to the school in general. Shes only been here for a week. But anyways I was wondering how to approach her? When I've had 1-3 drinks I can easily take action and talk without thinking what I'm saying/think about the situation analyze it and act quickly. However when I'm completely sober and outside of a highly active social situation I tend to freeze up, I have my moments after(somehow) getting into a zone of thinking quickly acting w/out thought but those are usually in a more business setting.

Any suggestions or thoughts on getting myself to that state of act and think quickly w/out hesitation while sober?

So, through the combined help of seddit and my friend, I've been able to more or less woo over this girl that i've hooked up with once. I told her I want to go on a date and we had a killer time. She had lots of fun. We had pasta and wine by the river and then a heated make out session. She walked me to my place which is closer and she biked there and i kissed her good night.

Now, we haven't fucked, but I've gotten pretty far with her and now I'm a bit emotionally invested. To a point where I feel vulnerable and also insecure about feeling vulnerable. Case in point, the other night i wanted nothing more than to hang out with her some more, but she had to leave to do an essay. The same thing happened to me during the three week period between when I hooked up with her and when I asked her on a date - i had pretty severe oneitis.

So at this point, i'm pretty much wondering if I should push ahead and see if she rejects me or accepts me but somehow leave the grey zone. She asked me while we were on the date if I liked her and I said yes. She said she doesn't know how she feels about me. Frankly, I don't care, but I just want to know what this means.

I know its very picky and the question isn't really about seduction as it is reducing the awkwardness of two people meeting. I try to pregame if I want to get drunk, because alcohol is too expensive at these places. So I'm new to the whole bar/club game. Hey there everyone. I have never really been a fashion savvy person because I didn't grow up with... well practically any money to buy clothes. So eventually I stopped perceiving what effectively "Looked nice" and "good" to people.

Although now that I am older, and I've gotten some money of my own, I still have never really known what I should buy as far as clothes go in order to be dressed nice for day to day activities.

I'm 20 years old, and currently working on becoming a bartender at a restaurant, and I'm not going to school. I don't have that much of a social circle either for more personal reasons.

Anyways any suggestions on looking better would be greatly appreciated. Even better would be pictures as I'm a rather visual/hands on learner.
