As a college student who mostly hangs out with other students... college life is literally nothing like this subreddit make it seem like.

[–]wtknightHardcore Romantic6 points7 points8 points 9 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I think college life depends a lot upon what college one attends.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

You gotta go to a college from the movies. That's where all the Chads exist. Don't worry though, you'll win over the love of your life in an 80s ski movie type scenario.

[–]wtknightHardcore Romantic3 points4 points5 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yep. After you do the fashion makeover scene where you step out of the dressing room in a variety of different crazy outfits until you find the right one and your friends give you the thumbs up.

[–]BPremiumMeh0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Then Molly Ringwald will show up and gives you a pair of legwarmers. You and your main squeeze walk off into the distance while Don't You by Simple Minds plays on a massive boombox off in the distance.

[–]BiggerDthanYouBluetopia5 points6 points7 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That can't be true. I've seen several documentaries like Blue Mountain State and college porn

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

What's it like? It's been more then 15 years since I've been. I remember lots of parties

What does this subreddit make it seem like?

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 9 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

I think there are certain commonly held beliefs about college here on PPD that just aren't true. The first is that everybody is out partying, or that the ones who don't are all unattractive and aren't able to. That is not how it goes on my college. Sure, there are plenty of parties but people differ greatly in how much partying they do, from going out twice a week to almost never going out to party. Those differences honestly have very little to do with a person's attractiveness. I know some frat and sorority people that are far from conventionally attractive but who still go out to party like the best of 'em, and I also know some very gorgeous women and handsome men who aren't interested in that scene at all.

The second belief is that all that partying means everybody is having lots of sex. Wrong again. Most people I know are in committed relationships or actively trying to get into one. Plenty of women go out hoping to have fun, not get laid. There isn't a cock carousel with all the female students riding the same few Chads. College isn't some extravagant perpetual orgy.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

The first is that everybody is out partying, or that the ones who don't are all unattractive and aren't able to. That is not how it goes on my college.

partying means everybody is having lots of sex.

Those are claims u/biggerDthanyou constantly makes. That, and anyone who didn't party was on the spectrum, and people who observed problems in the SMP are 100 years old and don't know what they're talking about.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Your views are incredibly off and probably influenced by personal agendas lol.

The second belief is that all that partying means everybody is having lots of sex. Wrong again. Most people I know are in committed relationships or actively trying to get into one.

Entirely false.

Modern dating has become non-existent. The traditional structure of courting and dating is gone. Lots of people have sex before they start dating:

Kring wrote in a 2012 article published by GROUP, the journal of the Eastern Group Pyschotherapy Society. “Women outnumber men by a ratio of 60:40, and a new sexual paradigm has emerged… [D]ating in the traditional sense of the word had been replaced by ‘hooking up’ as the predominant sexual interaction on campus.”

http://time.com/money/4072951/college-gender-ratios-dating-hook-up-culture/

and here:

If you think colleges like Sarah Lawrence or NYU are outliers, think again. In the appendix of DATE-ONOMICS, I include a table that ranks 35 major public and private colleges by their gender ratios and pairs that data with students’ own descriptions of dating at their schools. The descriptions came from Niche.com, a college review site penned by students. At 62%-female Boston University, “Freshman year is a sexual explosion… There are girls to go around, and around again,” according to Niche. At 63%-female James Madison University, the “deficiency of guys creates a scene that tends to embrace random hookups.”

For the many who are delaying the responsibilities of marriage and child-rearing, hooking up has virtually replaced dating.

I really don't get how people still think college isn't an orgy. Dating is dead (in college).

[–]lollygagyoSociopathic Fake Flirter1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I really don't get how people still think college isn't an orgy. Dating is dead (in college).

It's not an orgy except for the people that it was an orgy for. It was an orgy for me towards the end. Before that, I was in a committed relationship, engaged and not fucking around.

Think about it. Did you actually fuck everyone at your campus at the parties you went to?

[–]reepbotEven when I lose I always win.[S] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Maybe they know like one or two people like that and so they take it that everyone must be like that?

[–]shoup88Report me bitch3 points4 points5 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I think it's more likely that they've gotten this impression from the media, not firsthand knowledge.

[–]i_have_a_semicolonPurple Pill Woman0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Right. There are parties in college but also people studying. It varies which college which you go to. A big state school and an engineering school are totally different. College is still college though. Binge drinking and casual sex are normal. But the ratios and the difficulty of the school make a difference. Most engineering schools are difficult schools have people working their asses of 80% of the time. Partying is a fun way to get through it. It's only 4 years.

And I'm sure there are lots of other difficult stem schools and some really difficult liberal arts school as well, which typically I suppose would be smaller and more competitive/exclusive.

Not to mention a fair bit of us work to make money durring this time too.

[–]trpobservereats ass0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This depends on major quite a lot I think. Most engineering students don't date (or the people who went to college a little later in life are already married) and spend most of their time studying.

There is definitely a lot more sex going on in other departments.

It seems to me nobody ever talks about how there are a lot of women who don't get attention from men, in the same way that incel men don't get attention from women. Often times, they're unattractive, have unattractive personalities, and share a lot of traits of incel men. You think Trigglypuff has ever been hit on? Why do you think those type of women are so angry?

[–]SoooAlpha46 points7 points8 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Fucking YES.

I'm flabbergasted that more people don't see this.

[–]ZoidbergluverBluePurple Pill Woman10 points11 points12 points 9 years ago (144 children) | Copy Link

I 100% agree that these women exist and they are simply invisible to red pillers/most people. However, I don't see any anger from it. Incel men have many many subs to vent their anger (r/MGTOW, r/incel, etc) but I don't see anything like that for women. I think these women are lonely, but that doesn't turn into anger because they aren't blaming anyone else.

[–]JoeFuckingSchmoe14 points15 points16 points 9 years ago* (108 children) | Copy Link

Although I think that these type of women aren't posting on Reddit and trolling, they are definitely angry. 3rd wave feminism is how they express their frustration. Just like incel men, their line of thinking is "the opposite gender has never sexually given me attention... SO FUCK THE OTHER GENDER!". That's what both 3rd wave feminism and these incel/mra are pretty much in my eyes. Both are just sexually frustrated and instead of improving themselves they blame the opposite sex and/or society.

[–]shoup88Report me bitch7 points8 points9 points 9 years ago (26 children) | Copy Link

Do you really believe the bulk of third wave feminists are fat, ugly, and sexless? That hasn't been my experience at all. Even just looking at pictures of rallies and walks, you can see a variety of different bodies and looks.

[–]JoeFuckingSchmoe7 points8 points9 points 9 years ago (16 children) | Copy Link

The overwhelming majority of the time, I really find them no different than incel men. Those women at the rallies either fall under the "unattractive personality" category or they are actually second wave feminists (whether they know it or not) that have been duped into supporting third wave feminism because... well... "FEMINISM!!"

[–]shoup88Report me bitch8 points9 points10 points 9 years ago (14 children) | Copy Link

So you believe the only reason the majority of feminists are feminists is because they can't get laid? Even the attractive looking ones? Even the ones fighting for things like access to abortion?

Why?

[–]monkeysinmypocket points points points 9 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Because he's an old fashioned sexist.

[–]JoeFuckingSchmoe1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

And you're a good old fashioned person who can't handle the truth.

[–]monkeysinmypocket2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

It's only slander if it's not true.

[–]JoeFuckingSchmoe2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Doesn't matter cause words like racist and sexist are just the go to words for retarded liberals, those words don't even mean anything anymore. Even if it has nothing to do with race or sex, it's racist or sexist. They don't even mean anything anymore you use them so much. Good thing you people never win at anything.

[–]JoeFuckingSchmoe1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I'm referring to 3rd wave feminists. I have no problem with pre 3rd wave feminist concepts. It's these girls who are my age who are screaming about the patriarchal conspiracy that I have issue with.

[–]shoup88Report me bitch3 points4 points5 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Third wave feminists are fighting for continued access to abortion.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Yes I do. Women who will never get laid telling beautiful normal girls that abortion is cool and like yerr right gurrrrl. Its a pretty insidious way of destroying beautiful women and their offspring

[–]shoup88Report me bitch1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Take off the tinfoil and step away from the computer screen.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Women are always trying to destroy and subvert the competition are you kidding. Thats why non-sluts who love to slut shame with their besties will tell a girl they don't like over facebook to "go girl!" when she acts slutty.

They know it drives down a womans value in the long run.

[–]shoup88Report me bitch1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

So the only reason a person would want to protect access to abortion is because she's herself can't get laid, and wants to sabotage women who can? Are you listening to yourself?

Europe or America?

[–]shoup88Report me bitch1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

You can look at rallies/walks/protests in either place and your answer will be the same.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

No you can't. I've been to so many irl being a former radical "ally". I look at the videos of feminists in Europe and I can't believe how beautiful and traditionally feminine they all look.

[–]shoup88Report me bitch1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Yes, there are probably a lot more traditionally attractive feminists in Europe, in no small part because there are less overweight/obese people in general.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Its not just the obesity though, its also the way they carry themselves. They still look cute when they scream at the policemen who drag them off, then they fall to their knees and cry like little girls.

[–]ZoidbergluverBluePurple Pill Woman0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (80 children) | Copy Link

I don't see anything like that at all. Plus I thought third wave feminists were sluts?

Can you give me an example of how 3rd wave feminism has expressed anger over not getting sexual attention? Feminists are notorious for being slutty or uninhibited, so I can't imagine they are the ones getting upset over not getting sexual attention.

[–]JoeFuckingSchmoe7 points8 points9 points 9 years ago* (79 children) | Copy Link

See, the concept you're bringing up is another thing that I just haven't seen in reality. Maybe it's just where I'm from (Pennsylvania; not Philly or Pittsburgh), but usually if a girl identifies as a 3rd wave feminist, she is nine times out of ten unattractive and I wouldn't want to get with her anyway. The "slutty feminist" archetype is something I don't really see much. These women do exist, and it's true that they're the easiest type of women to sleep with, but I barely encounter them. In my experience it's only unattractive women who take up this "3rd wave feminist" mantle, and it's because just like incel men, the work required to be attractive to the opposite gender is just too much for them. In my personal experience, and I know this is gonna sound bad, but if they're attractive, they aren't going to be a 3rd wave feminist. I emphasize greatly on the "3rd wave" part.

But to answer your question. In my town this girl falsely accused this guy I knew of rape because he wanted nothing to do with her. Thank god he kept screen shots and didn't delete the messages or else he would've been fucked. Also, just look on the internet whenever one of these 3rd wavers get pissed. They try to get the people they disagree with fired from their jobs, or try to character assassinate them. They'll also just get offended over stupid shit like "WONDER WOMAN ISN'T WHAT REAL WOMEN LOOK LIKE AHHHHHH!!!!" because they see that society is pushing a beauty standard that they know deep down is the opposite of them. They want the same attention that attractive women get but without have to change themselves.

Just to be clear, I don't really know what "pill" I am yet, I only found out about this RP/BP/PP stuff fairly recently.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 9 years ago (78 children) | Copy Link

you're doing a lot of projecting here based on very specific incidents. the "ugly feminist who can't get a man" meme has been around since before our grandparents generation and it's never been true in the sense that you're thinking. many feminists reject the idea that they are in any way obligated to be conventionally attractive to you or any other man, but that doesn't mean that they gravitated to feminism because they're ugly. in many cases it's the opposite... women feel lied to about men's romantic intentions and are attracted to the movement despite and even because of the fact that they're very attractive to men.

another important thing to realize is that feminism is moving into a fourth wave. the third wave was about freedom of sexual expression and the fourth is about abolishing gender entirely. this is not a concept that only attracts uggos and men are only hurting themselves and giving strength to the movement by clinging to that claim. this is a concept being widely adopted and embraced by teenagers as they move into adulthood. the idea that there are infinite genders is going to define the next generation of feminism. as usual, anti-feminists are behind the times.

[–]Atlas_B_Shruggin🔪Yeetus that Feetus🔪5 points6 points7 points 9 years ago (35 children) | Copy Link

What do attractive feminine mentally stable women have to gain from abolishing gender

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 9 years ago (33 children) | Copy Link

women aren't being raised to be 'feminine' anymore. they are growing up under a completely different gender paradigm. even in my generation, femininity was frowned upon. we are free (and encouraged) to behave in more masculine ways. femininity is weakness, it's a drag.

[–]Atlas_B_Shruggin🔪Yeetus that Feetus🔪9 points10 points11 points 9 years ago (19 children) | Copy Link

yes feminism has led to the complete erasure of women and glorification only of masculinity. gender isnt being erased, women are. apparently this is something to celebrate

[–]sunkindonut149Blue Pill Mouse1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

To me as a feminist this (expectation that men and women act hard) is pretty sexist.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 9 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

there's no place for traditional femininity anymore. men will just take advantage of it. using your looks to get a man to take care of you will leave you divorced or cheated on when you age out of said looks. the only way femininity is being preserved is in nontraditional (non-hetero) relationships where it becomes one choice among many.

[–]questioningwomandetached from society2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Or maybe women should be allowed to act feminine if they want or masculine if they want or both? Why act this way towards today's angry and bitter men though? It will only get you burned and I prefer not to be a generational sacrifice.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago* (3 children) | Copy Link

that's exactly the point of gender abolitionism. define your own gender, define your own sexuality. you are not beholden to any set role based on the parts you're born with.

if you were burned by biological men but still feel an attraction to them and pull toward domesticity? then maybe your ideal relationship is as the femme partner in a coupling with a trans man.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

Beautiful women behave in a feminine manner. What does it matter that women aren't being raised to act feminine when beautiful women act feminine out of their biology?

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points8 points 9 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

no they don't. many beautiful women have casual sex... that's not traditionally feminine at all.

[–]EliteSpartanRangerNice Guys Don't Ask For Rewards0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

They can make their own choices.

Even the most feminine women will have some masculine interests, for example, if she wants to become a motorcycle tuner, people won't say there's something wrong with them.

Also maybe they don't want to be pressured into marrying at 20 and having children.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

women feel lied to

Really. Yet when I say I was lied to (not FEEL lied to, WAS lied to), I get excoriated for it.

women feel lied to about men's romantic intentions

How are they being lied to? Do women not understand that men want sex? Do women not understand that pretty much the sole reason men have much of anything to do with them is because they want sex, despite anything that men say? Do women not understand that men aren't completely honest about the fact that they want sex, because they can't just come out and say "me want fuk"; men actually have to do the dance to get what they want? Do women just not get any of this?

[–]harbo2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (25 children) | Copy Link

fourth is about abolishing gender entirely. this is not a concept that only attracts uggos

The only ones who have something to gain by gender being abolished are those who have difficulty in fitting the confines of gender roles. Very feminine women have everything to gain in life by there existing beauty standards. Similarly, it is in my experience very rare to find men who are both traditionally masculine and truly interested in being feminists or "allies".

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (24 children) | Copy Link

beauty for women as it is traditionally defined has an expiration date. why would a woman want to be traditionally feminine? in doing so she defers to the man in her life who is free to cheat on her or drop her when she ages out of being attractive... she can only hope that he loves her enough to continue supporting her.

from a practical standpoint, she is much better off adopting a more self-sufficient, masculine personality. that will serve her for her whole life, not just in her twenties.

[–]SetConsumesAlways Becoming2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

beauty for women as it is traditionally defined has an expiration date. why would a woman want to be traditionally feminine?

Why does a woman want to be beautiful? Why does a woman want family?

in doing so she defers to the man in her life who is free to cheat on her or drop her when she ages out of being attractive... she can only hope that he loves her enough to continue supporting her.

And she can divorce his ass, get a pay day, alimony, and child support.

Especially if she has no income, she gets paid even more. She'll probably get the house and the kids too.

from a practical standpoint, she is much better off adopting a more self-sufficient, masculine personality. that will serve her for her whole life, not just in her twenties.

Feminine women get served by men their whole life if they remain feminine and are good at keeping men.

Its sad what the fear of abandonment has led you to do, but this is something Feminism wanted too by abolishing marriage with the introduction of no fault divorce.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 9 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

that's a fiction. most women end up significantly poorer after a divorce, and a feminine woman wants a man in her life. that's the essence of femininity! but wanting him in her life doesn't safeguard her against aging, being traded in for a younger model, or being cheated on. saying she can divorce a cheating husband is no solace because she wants to be cherished by him. she doesn't want to be alone.

feminine women get used and abused all the time. it's foolish to be feminine in today's society, men don't want it. they want attractive, feminine-looking but masculine behaving women.

and it's not a fear of abandonment, it's being smart and hedging your bets. why put your fate in someone else's hands? doesn't TRP advise against that as well?

[–]harbo points points points 9 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I think I know what this fourth generation of feminism is but it hasn't trickled down to age 30+ folks outside the hipster community.

In my area teenage girls are attracted to traditionally feminine things like Instagram makeup artists. Femininity is not really frowned upon. People still believe in "ladies" and "gentlemen" in the blue collar community age 30+.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

Gen Z will likely abolish feminism. My nieces and nephews hate feminism, liberalism, Obama era kids etc...

You literally have a problem with the way the Universe has organized itself. The fuck you mean "abolish gender"? I'm sorry but you might as well say that you're going to change the color of the sky to orange.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

wait why do I have a problem with the universe? I'm describing an increasingly common set of beliefs, not stating my own opinion.

[–]JoeFuckingSchmoe0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

It doesn't matter if it's an increasingly common set of beliefs. It's wrong. I know you're gonna fucking hate this, but gender is not a social construct. Gender roles are not a social construct. Maybe boys being associated with the color blue and girls the color pink is, but make no mistake, there are core differences between men and women. They're co-equals. It doesn't mean you pay one gender less or are less respectful, just acknowledge the differences. The reason why I said you have a problem with the way the universe is organized (thought it was your opinion) is because to think that you can actually do something like change the genders sounds exactly like "let's turn the sky orange" or "let's turn off gravity". It's something you literally cannot do.

There are plenty of women raging about how unfair men are, how they only want "skinny modes" and get all their knowlege from porn, how we as a world would be better off without men etc. I don't even seek out these posts but they even inflitrate the comments when I just look for some supernatural porn fanfiction

I disagree. I think most of those women turn to radical feminism. A lot of women like the infamous Big Red etc just scream incel when you look at them.

[–]SetConsumesAlways Becoming1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I think these women are lonely, but that doesn't turn into anger because they aren't blaming anyone else.

Rather, they don't care nearly as much about sex itself as men. It's not as big of a deal.

The biggest issue incel women face is being childless vs not having your sex urge satisfied.

Add in that our society flaunts female sexuality a lot more than male sexuality, so it's even more difficult to even avoid the thoughts as a man.

[–]ZoidbergluverBluePurple Pill Woman0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I don't think it has ANYTHING to do with being childless. Remember, now that women have the option, birth rates are falling drastically. It's probably more loneliness than horniness, which I think is true of male incels as well.

[–]SetConsumesAlways Becoming0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I don't think it has ANYTHING to do with being childless.

It is when they're older especially. I don't know a lot of incel women but the one I do know gets around this by enjoying her nephews and nieces.

Remember, now that women have the option, birth rates are falling drastically. It's probably more loneliness than horniness, which I think is true of male incels as well.

Loneliness, and, the lack of being loved. All women want to be loved and greatly so. Men want love, but women need it, immensely, and men and children are a large source.

Give you an example of a woman who doesn't get a lot of attention from men? Well obviously that's hard since I have to give you an example of a celebrity, and by definition celebrities get a lot of attention...

But what about Susan Boyle? She was objectively unattractive and timid, and as a result didn't get her first boyfriend until 53 (after lots of fame, wealth, and hollywood make overs"

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2853877/It-s-early-days-s-nice-guy-Chart-topper-Susan-Boyle-finds-boyfriend-53.html

[–]CarkudoThe original opinionated omega0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

She was objectively unattractive and timid

No she wasn't. Look up her high school photos - she's perfectly normal, and as an old woman she is also perfectly normal. You might also want to look up her biography and her statements about her own dating history where she says that she actively avoided any romance in her life by choice.

I'm not going to talk about how she probably had high standards or anything like that. It's not for me to judge her on her standards. But she was definitely never in the situation that an actual incel finds himself in - a situation where there are literally no options. It sucks when you're scared of dating and it sucks when you don't like any of the options available to you, but those are very different things from having no attention at all.

[–]ZoidbergluverBluePurple Pill Woman0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

Okay, please give me links to her "normal" pictures. I was under the impression that everyone was pretty... shocked at her appearance...

[–]ZoidbergluverBluePurple Pill Woman0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

I don't have to know everything about her, I know enough to prove the point... which is that some women genuinely do not get attention from men, or anyone. Female incels exist.

[–]CarkudoThe original opinionated omega0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

I know enough to prove the point

Then prove the point. Bringing up the example of an average-looking woman who avoided romantic relationships of her own free will doesn't constitute such a proof.

some women genuinely do not get attention from men

Then where are those women? And if they have all conspired to conceal their existence, which is the only possible explanation for why they cannot be observed, why have they done so and how have they achieved such a level of cooperation? And how do you know about them then?

[–]ZoidbergluverBluePurple Pill Woman0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

They have not "conspired" to stay hidden. The point is that these women are not attractive and their personality is unremarkable, so they are invisible to most people, especially as sexual partners.

My example is Susan Doyle. YOU are the one asserting she stayed single of her own free will. If that's true, you'll have to provide me evidence of it. In the article I quoted where she found her first boyfriend in her 50s she says she's lucky to have found him...

What the article said: "the weight of the evidence suggests that some women experience a slight-to-moderate libido increase around ovulation"

LOL, not quite the same thing... You know men and women actually have similar sex drives, right? Studies show that men and women think about sex for similar amounts of time every day, masturbate in similar amounts (at some ages womens masturbation even outpaced mens), and the majority of both men and women stated their perfect sex life would be 1-3x/week.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

You're correct that almost no man is willing to bang a woman who doesn't even make it to 1 on the scale. But there are almost no women fitting that description. So it's basically a moot point.

I keep telling this story, but in college I knew a girl who was morbidly obese to the point of not fitting through some doors, was mentally ill, epileptic, on disability and had a REALLY abrasive personality. She still dated regularly, and the men she dated were decidedly not unattractive. If all those traits do not significantly reduce a woman's chances of dating and sex, then what does?

Hot women and catcalling is just completely unrelated to that.

Yeah, I think she has because I knew someone who looked exactly like her and was never out of an LTR for long.

nobody ever talks about how there are a lot of women who don't get attention from men

Are you kidding? This gets brought up all the time and I keep asking to point me towards such women. Apparently, these women exist, but they never talk about their issues online, as if they have all conspired to keep their existence and their problems a secret from anyone who doesn't know them personally IRL. That's not realistic at all.

[–]lynx_and_nutmeg1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This sub makes it seem like all men are super confident and forward and whenever they see a woman they like, they instantly hit on her. In the country where I'm from, that's not how it works at all. Even chatting with random stranger is considered weird, let alone hitting on a random stranger women. People are much more reserved there. Catcalling pretty much doesn't exist. Women are still very much shamed for having casual sex, the bar hookup culture is not nearly that big.

Basically, the vast majority of people here are Americans and they assume that the way it works in their backyard is the exact same way it works everywhere else in the world.

[–]basebool0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I think its understood that there exist women who are so unnattractive they truly won't get any attention at all. However, it's also the fact that the ratio between that and average man is so wide, it's ignored.

[–]trpobservereats ass0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I don't think TRP folks disagree with that for the most part; the idea that physically repulsive women are invisible. The difference is that pretty average dudes can be incels, but average women aren't. If there are, its extremely uncommon.

Also, the cute shy girl who never gets attention from men is a trope that only exists in fantasy and fiction (especially anime).

[–]prodigy2throw#Transracial0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The thing is the solution for women who aren't getting attention is pretty simple and straight forward. There is rarely a genetic flaw that's hold women back. Men have so much stacked against them by things that are decided for them before they're even born (height, hair, shoulders, penis size, etc). If every woman who was incel lost weight, wore makeup and dressed pretty, problem solved.

I dont see the AF/BB stuff, and all women riding some CC. I also see Chad constantly just not in the way TRP portrays him as some muscled hunk. The Chad depicted on here is a masculine representation of what they think an ideal man looks like. Real examples of Chads would be Mick Jagger, Harry Styles etc. Men that aren't seen as attractive to other men, who then label it money or fame that gets them women, but ask women who've met them or been in their presence and there is just something unidentifiable (call it an aura, or whatever) that makes them swoon, even if they didn't find them attractive before.

[–]sublimemongrelBecky, Esq.4 points5 points6 points 9 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

[–]i_have_a_semicolonPurple Pill Woman0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

[–]says_harsh_thingsRed Pill - Chad2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago* (23 children) | Copy Link

I think its a selection bias.

Guys that have experience with women or have a spine can spot freeloading women a mile away and want no part of that. Guys at the bottom of the barrel either dont have the experience to know theyre getting played or are so desperate for attention that they go along with it anyway, and then get upset that a woman strung them along for a few dinners out at applebees and then dropped them.

[–]wtknightHardcore Romantic2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

I don't have much experience though. I usually attract either "boring" women or women who lack confidence, and most average guys seem to have little to no interest in these women. I think that there are a large number of women out there that TRP ignores when they try to analyze them just because they are not sexually desirable to most of those guys.

[–]says_harsh_thingsRed Pill - Chad1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I feel ya. Yeah, there is definitely an imbalance and the prudish boring girls are not on the radar either for good or bad relationships.

If you filter out interpersonal relationships down to only short term sexually charged ones, then the subset of people is going to skew heavily male while is going to skew the control to be in womens favor most of the time. With that kind of power, shitty stuff can happen.

I don't have much experience though. I usually attract either "boring" women or women who lack confidence, and most average guys seem to have little to no interest in these women.

See, why is it like this if not AWALT?

Most women are boring dude. It's not just you. They don't care about most things that don't directly affect them, so what is there for her to say?

Most women lack confidence, are insecure. Again, not just you.

And as you said, the average guy these days doesn't want the average girl. Which is a problem isn't it?

This is the result of feminism too. Wanting your woman to be more than a lover, to also be a friend, is feminist belief. The perk is nice but the demand placed on women is massively unfair, we ask, Woman, you must be beautiful and submissive and feminine, and you must be intellectual interesting confident and masculine.

And then we hope for that feminine woman with a developed masculine side to not display AWALT traits because they are to be above their base nature!

[–]wtknightHardcore Romantic1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I'm not very confident and on the boring side too, so I don't mind that I attract this type of woman. I'm just saying that I don't attract the kind of exciting, sexy, branch-swinging, casual sex loving woman that TRP wants to attract, and which they base AWALT off of. The women I attract tend to be quiet, loyal, non-branch swingers who don't mind if a man is not dominant and overly masculine, and who have extremely low n-counts, and I just don't see much of what TRP claims "all" women are like in them.

You're describing extroverts. If you feel you're boring you probably don't well know yourself and why you believe what you do.

Which you're describing introverts. AWALT is first and foremost Machiavellianism, Solipsism, Immaturity, Hypergamy. Introverted modest good girls still operate with all of these regularly, even if they tend to control their hypergamy better. But Idk how much you've learned to identify behaviors stemming from these things.

It's just highly unlikely that you found a unicorn, especially if she's at all emotional.

[–]ZoidbergluverBluePurple Pill Woman1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Man... i dunno what to say to that. You cant fault anyone, women or men, for having preferences.

I get the feeling from our past comments back and forth that you are quite overweight, but consider yourself average. Im not trying to be mean but i think you need to realign with reality. If a woman does not want to have a sex with a guy thats >30%bf, thats not what i would call 'picky'. You dont need to win the genetic lottery to have to have a relationship, but the more serious your obesity, the harder it will be.

So, and i ask his in all honesty and sincerity, am i close? Are we talking more than 30%? More than 40%? If so, thats the problem, plain and simple. I feel for you, because women will pussyfoot around the issue, give you false hope, tell you they arent looking for a relationship right now, tell you its whats on the inside that matters, and you know this. What i am telling you is dont hate women for lying to you about it. Theyre not lying to you to trick you, theyre just not good at telling guys the truth.

So, man to man, im telling you that youve got to lose the weight. Its hard. Your genetics probably arent great and it will be an uphill battle for you compared to some other guys that have it easy. Do it anyway. Not for some girl, but for yourself.

Thats what pisses me off. I have to work my ass off to get a chance with someone who didnt have to do anything but be born, and is given an exalted place in society and endless praise for being lucky enough to have a fast metabolism.

[–]wtknightHardcore Romantic1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

TRP is for people who perceive the need for advice about women and their desires. If one is already romantically successful and doesn't see AWALT in his daily interactions, then does it really matter if TRP applies to his life or not? It's the same reason why Chad doesn't read TRP, except applied to relationships rather than casual sex.

It's the same reason why Chad doesn't read TRP, except applied to relationships rather than casual sex.

It depends on how much you value having power and control over your life. You cannot control or influence what you do not know or see.

Maybe you'll be fine and never get to blindsided, but that is your gamble. If you see then you can both avoid being blindsided and even prevent the relationship from spiraling out.

Understanding reality lets you better work with and utilize it, exploit it for your gain.

Really, every man should study Machiavellianism, to not do so is to give women and Machiavellian men massive advantages over them, both in relationships and the corporate world.

[–]wtknightHardcore Romantic0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

Why do you assume that all women are Machiavellian, and not all men?

[–]SetConsumesAlways Becoming0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Why do you assume that all women are Machiavellian, and not all men?

Women's primary power comes from social power. At the age of 6 girls will be paying a shit ton of attention to people, how they act, why they react, looking for patterns regarding human emotions and why humans behave the way they do.

Whereas most 6 year old boys are busy staring at not people, more focused on things that move and physical reality.

And then consider that women often speak to people's emotions, and like when you speak to their emotions. It's their natural state of being, and Machiavellian behavior usually entails emotionally manipulating people, which is done typically by speaking to their emotions and not logic.

So by the time a woman is 18 she's spent thousands of hours people watching and learning how to manipulate people, where most men don't even have a third of such experience.

Like the amount of men ignorant about body language when they're 30 is amazing, while most 12 year old girls know plenty about body language and what it means!

Every woman on this subreddit and reddit in general talks about how they split the bill when out on a date. This is something that I haven't encountered in all my years of dating.

Anytime I'm out with a woman, even when we're in an LTR, she always expects me to foot the bill.

[–]shoup88Report me bitch4 points5 points6 points 9 years ago (14 children) | Copy Link

Yeah that's pretty ridiculous, I don't know anyone who does that.

[–]dj10showhell in a handbasket0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I flip it. We split in the beginning stages of dating, and then if I want to treat her later on in the relationship, it's my prerogative to do so. And those moments are always well received.

[–]NalkaNalkayou call it virtue, I call it cowardice0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I don't get the distinction. The only legitimate reasons that I can think of for a guy footing the bill in the initial stages also apply to the rest of the ltr.

[–]shoup88Report me bitch1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Footing the bill in the beginning is a way to impress her, and is relatively common. Once you're in a relationship those standards generally relax a little. In most couples I know, costs are split.

[–]shoup88Report me bitch2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

What would "controlling your woman's spending habit's" have to do with it?

The only way I can see that having an impact is if you actually mean "make her give part of her earnings to me so I can then buy her dinner".

[–]SetConsumesAlways Becoming0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

What would "controlling your woman's spending habit's" have to do with it?

I influence what she even wants to spend money on. Basic conditioning of behavior really, praising good spending, punishing bad spending.

[–]shoup88Report me bitch2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

[–]SetConsumesAlways Becoming0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

She doesn't want to buy things unreasonably, so then anything being bought is reasonable and fine and is affordable.

I'd only have to worry if the spending was unreasonable.

As a man I expect to be depended on for money by my woman.

Not sure if that answers your question.

[–]shoup88Report me bitch1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

It would be more like, she tells me she bought a dress and how much it costs. I then make fun of her for buying more clothes(she has over 1000 articles of clothing), and if she spent more than I approve of I give her some anger(not raging, more like statements of Wtf).

But honestly she's such a good shopper I get amazed at the prices she finds shit for and rarely give her any anger.

She more or less budgets herself now, if she buys something pricey, which would have to really be worth it, she won't shop as much till the next month.

I setup the boundaries of her spending so she can spend how she wants without worrying, and she appreciates it. One less thing to worry about and she can shop guilt free with her friends.

You don't control shit unless she literally gives you her paycheck. Does she "control" what you spend money on too since she influences you? ;)

Nope. I buy what I want without regard for her and she knows better than to try and say something.

You sound like you're talking about a video game.

[–]BPremiumMeh0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

You asked what advice I would give to that woman in that situation. The types of guys that abuse women are usually good at hiding it. They are typically very charming/good looking otherwise they wouldnt have anyone to abuse. By staying clear of confident sounding, good looking guys with muscles, you have a much better chance at avoiding abusive partners. choose a guy that is deperate for female attention, and if possible, a body type you can dodge/over power if youre still scared. They have a much lower propensity for violence.

[–]SetConsumesAlways Becoming0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

True, but then she'll also end up with guys that are unattractive.

The guys that can be abusive can be so because they're masculine men.

[–]BPremiumMeh0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I like when my bf foots the bill because it's romantic in a sense, but I also do things which I hope he finds romantic. It's good to split the bill, but an expensive sushi dinner after having a particular hard week or because he got a promotion just makes me feel loved.

Not to mention, if I made more money I'd readily pay for more. I spent over 10 grand on our furniture and deposit when we moved in together because he hadn't started working full time, and he paid me back over time.

Though he's catching up to me in terms of money very quickly, I still want to make money and be able to contribute half as long as I'm working which I hope would be for a long ass time so I can make a lot of money and make a difference

80/20 rule

"average men can't get laid" "guys who don't look conventionally handsome can't get relationships"

Most of the obese men (and other men who aren't conventionally physically attractive) I know are married, that's why I believe that there's someone for everyone. They usually marry people of the same attractiveness, though, so I guess if a redpiller is only noticing women who are fit then that does decrease his chances a lot if he's not conventionally attractive.

[–]LittleWindowpane points points points 9 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

It's autism-spectrum disorders that are the real killer: lots of them never get married or have relationships. And they're overrepresented on TRP.

[–]EliteSpartanRangerNice Guys Don't Ask For Rewards2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I can believe that. As someone who is (ok looking, not a 10/10 but not below average either) perpetually single because I have trouble reading social hints or understanding how other people feel, I think it's definitely more of a hurdle when it comes to dating for me than any physical appearance (barring serious deformity) can be.

However, I think women who are on autistic spectrum have the same difficulties as men.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

They have different difficulties: they get relationships, but with abusive people.

[–]EliteSpartanRangerNice Guys Don't Ask For Rewards1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

While it could sure happen, that's not very common. I think that's more common among other types of disorders like BPD for example, but not autism-spectrum disorders.

Many women autism-spectrum disorder, just like the men, are loners and are bad at reading social cues that lead to any romantic relationship at all. For example sometimes it's difficult to tell when people are flirting unless they say out loud "I'm flirting with you" and in a neurotypical environment that doesn't happen.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Hmm...Many say that women with autism have an easier time of initiating relationships than guys, and there are guys that have very low standards, if she's attractive. A woman who's a 'sperg, but physically fit? She'll have an easier time getting relationships than her male counterparts, but she might be with assholes that take advantage of her.

Your point stands, though: many 'spergy women are loner types and bad with social skills.

Average women can't do this, unless they live in a city where the average woman is a thin and pretty 20 year old. But that sounds like a city that's skewed heavily towards attractive people, and in that case good looking men have much more hotter options.

That people even give a shit about gender dynamics and spend a lot of time and energy fretting about it. They don't.

This is a psychological loophole BPers use to try and shut down any argument without engaging with what's being said. It's basically pedantic policing.

If I say "I love to eat vegetables", that doesn't imply I like to at all vegetables. If a woman says "I love nice guys!" that obviously doesn't mean she likes all guys who are nice.

[–]i_have_a_semicolonPurple Pill Woman0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

Yes it is. Your trying to say that any non-quantified statement, like "women do wild stuff with the right amount of tequila in college", automatically implies all women, and thus must be a false statement, because it's impossible to make a statement representing all women. It's based off your own assumption, not the argument at hand.

edit: This is the same as when TRP or men think women saying they like nice guys meaning they like any guy who is nice, and are liars because they reject nice guys after saying this.

[–]i_have_a_semicolonPurple Pill Woman0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Comment chain is about 're talking 80% of women dating 20% of men. Men who pay attention to women see that those women are dating 20% of of men, which feeds into their perception. Reality is not like that, but their perception of reality is like that.

It's an interesting observation. Also I was a recent sorority sister. So according to your comment you can take my word for it.

Further edit: also that most girls that guys pay attention to spring their legs open and drink tequila. In a sorority guys don't tend to pay attention to most of the women, either. Especially if it's a sorority with a high % of taken girls, ugly girls, socially inept girls, or extremely studious girls.

TBP is primarily based on telling TRPers that not all women are the same person and that variations exist so I don't see how it could be contradictionary considering that we barely ever state how women in general are, but just that not all are like that no matter how much TRPies hamster.

TRP states that women are a certain way or that they all share the same female nature. TBP simply states that the nature of someone can be different than the average (like for TRPies transgender people are going against their nature (the nature of what they are supposed to be based on their sex), but for bloopies they would be going against their nature if they wouldn't live it out freely (their individual nature)). This is the basis of the discussion here, but the blue position doesn't say that women are all a certain way.

TRP: "all women want a hypermasculine Chad and those that don't want him are just lying because they know they can't have him"

TBP: "but what if they genuinely just have different tastes in men than you guys do?"

TRP: "all women are kids that need a father figure that tells them what to do and how to feel"

TBP: "no that's just because mature women don't want to do anything with a domineering douchebro"

TRP: "no woman will ever respect a guy that cried once and they can't ever love their man"

TBP: "that's just because there is not much loveable about you guys, but that doesn't mean that every little moment of weaknesses is enough to ruin regular relationships"

The idea that women are only attracted to 20% of men, or that all women like Chads, anything like that. My friends and I constantly disagree on what is attractive! I prefer scrawny to big muscles, I prefer shaved to bearded, I prefer younger looking guys. Obviously, many women disagree and like big burly bearded men. Everyones tastes are a little different! Theres no such thing as a "Chad" because theres no agreed upon ideal man.

Guy A, B, and C all happen to be hot, tall, and popular....

Evidence for that?

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 9 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

The most common reason for divorce is that the woman just doesn't want to be married to her husband anymore. What's actually going on, though its' almost never stated, is that the wife really wasnt' all that sexually attracted to him, but married him anyway. Now that she's got what she wanted (usually a kid and some financial support), she divorces him because she can and she doesn't want to fuck him anymore.

or, she's attracted the sexual interest of another man, and she wants to fuck him, and wants a chance to lock the new man down for commitment, and can't do that until she offloads the current man.

It's real simple. And very common.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

I think the importance of being chad is overhyped.

Chad is just the difference between a girl lighting up when she sees you for the first time and a girl shutting down and immediately saying "im not interested".

Sure, guys can charm their way into situation b, or take time to get to know the girl, or wait until the girls priorities change, but most guys arent interested in that kind of patience and investment.

Some people seem to think that chad can just look at a girl and make panties drop, which is a huge exaggeration.

What opinions expressed on this subreddit contrast with your experience in the real world?

Practically all of it.

Both sides of this sub have a tendency to express opinions that are "all or nothing" in one direction or the other. But humans are infinitely more complex than that. AWALT is a good example

Almost all human behaviors and traits are on a continuum. The behaviors TRP observes in women DO happen. Sometimes. The strategies TRP recommends DO work... Sometimes.

But anytime either side says or implies "always" or "never," it's practically a guarantee that they're wrong*.

*My biased observation is that TRP followers are the most guilty of this black&white thinking.

[–]says_harsh_thingsRed Pill - Chad0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

When someone is at the extreme end of the attractiveness scale (especially bad), everything looks like 'all or nothing'

[–]JaggedYellowPillyellow is the opposite of purple1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I don't deny that people who aren't attractive consistently get the short end of the stick. But if someone who experiences that then goes on to generalize their experience to everyone else, isn't that what TRP calls solipsism?

[–]cxj75% Redpill Core Ideas2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Women do not/cannot get fucked over in divorces. I live in CA and have known multiple nurses who gross 6 figures get divorce raped by really scummy ex husbands, even ones who beat them or are in jail lol. Yes those laws may have been intended to target men but in practice they hit the higher earner, which is increasingly women.

Being short or Asian is an inherent SMV death sentence. It's a disadvantage that can absolutely be overcome, largely via redpill tactics like lifting or getting into shape, social status and dominance, charisma etc.

STEM is a good career to go into if you want to get laid a lot. I know dudes who left this field for bullshit non careers due to lifestyle reasons including less opportunities for casual sex lol.

Marrying a stay at home wife is a good plan at all. TRP usually says don't marry which makes sense but then says "but if you do make sure it's a virgin sweetheart etc" which I think is the worst way to get married. If you're going to, you need to find an equal or greater earner to get the best odds of avoiding divorce rape. This has its own problems but imo is better than putting yourself at risk.

I disagree about the degree to which promiscuity affects women's RMV. Yes there are attractive men who will rule out such women but for the most part such men were paired off early anyways so they were out of the running and irrelevant. The main feature that matters is her looks.

Prior societies offered a better deal to men. There were some aspects of this I agree with like more stable marriages, but lots of those stable marriages were unhappy and sacrificed personal happiness for societal stability. It was a survival mechanism for the group not a tool of happiness for the individual. The advantages did not outweighs being drafted into shit like World War One or working brutal physical jobs with huge risk. The current society has its problems and is likely unsustainable but is not objectively worse for men than "ye old patriarchy."

There are so many, but the biggest one is how hugely important their sex lives appears to be to RPers. My husband and I have a great, very active sex life, but on my list of priorities and things that I think about daily sex is definitely not in the top 5. Maybe not even in the top 10. My existence doesn't revolve around satisfying my libido. I'm sure he would say the same thing. I think probably most well-adjusted people feel the same... there's too much shit to do in life to sit there and obsessively systematize, perseverate over and oversimplify gender dynamics in order to get laid constantly. I see sex as being the #1 priority AT ALL TIMES for the Red Pill, which I don't think accurately reflects the experience of normal humans.

Perhaps having a satisfying sex life is the reason it's not something you think about much? You might think/worry about it more if you felt it was lacking and/or you had a higher sex drive.

[–]says_harsh_thingsRed Pill - Chad4 points5 points6 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

While i agree that its not the #1 priority dominating your very existence, you have to realize that its easy to say that from a position of being satisfied. Maybe your husband is satisfied too, i dont know, but its not exactly news that mens sex drives are higher than womens and that most married men would have more sex if they could.

Then compare that to guys trying to get laid but cant - yeah, i understand why its the #1 thing that consumes them. All humans, no, but young men with no outlet, yes.

If i told a bunch of women that were desperately trying to have a baby "i dont see what the big deal is. I have a nephew and a neice. Thats good enough for me. You all think about kids too much" people would say im a bit insensitive.

[–]dj10showhell in a handbasket0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The way I look at it is that sexual compatibility is the most important thing. Not to say personality and common interests don't matter for LTRs because they do. But if we got along great and did cool things together, but didn't see eye to eye on sex, we could be friends and still do all that fun stuff without the having to be unhappily monogamous.

[–]BPremiumMeh0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Youre a woman, you dont have the male sex drive. You also had the power to get laid at will, when you were single, just by being a women. Unless you married a hot Chad tier guy who had the same options, youre husband didnt have anything close to that. So saying sex isnt in your top 5 means you can satisfy that need so simply that it no longer becomes a need.

Up your libido 10x its normal amount, imagine your single, and nobody wants you and youre alone for months/years on end. You might change your tune.

--that women are incomprehensibly complex and cannot be figured out

--that relationships are unique things, always different, and there are infinite combinations of interactions that "work" to attract the opposite sex

--that patterns, trends and dispositions in male and female nature cannot ever be identified or predicted

--that fat men are sexually attractive (a claim that's being advanced at this moment on this thread)

--that the attributes of niceness and kindness actually create sexual attraction; that these attributes actually make women sexually desire men with these attributes even if they lack "alpha" traits

--that "beta/comfort" traits actually create sexual attraction in women; that beta/comfort traits make women horny and make women desire sex with men exhibiting those traits

--that women don't settle for and marry men they're not sexually attracted to or are much less sexually attracted to than the men they used to fuck as younger women. (Women and Blues think this is very rare; I think it's much more common than most people recognize)

This is going to sound a bit BP but ... eh

That a man needs to be an alpha CEO/social butterfly in order to be noticed by women. Sure those things definitely work but that's like saying the key to success is to have a billion dollars - not a helpful way to get there.

What worked for me was communication and making sure I maintain myself enough not to turn into a jobless blob who can't live on his own. The maintaining part came first but the learning to communicate part was what led to my success with women.
