They're projecting their own in-group bias onto men, thinking men must also operate in the same gender mentality manner, but men also favor women.

They can't tell projected feelings from facts, this is called emotional reasoning:

Emotional reasoning is a cognitive process by which an individual concludes that their emotional reaction proves something is true, despite contrary empirical evidence. Emotional reasoning creates an 'emotional truth', which may be in direct conflict with the inverse 'perceptional truth'.

You'll hear emotional reasoning a lot from feminists. "I feel something, therefore it must be true." The top post being deconstructed is an amazing example of in-group bias, projection and emotional reasoning. Remember the stories of GFs accusing their BFs of cheating because they were the ones cheating first and projecting it. Similar logic.

Every woman self-proclaiming as a feminist will be tied to a preceding history of hembrism and misandry of which she won't untie herself with a simple "I, from my feminism, don't agree with this/that". Likewise, the very election of the term "feminism" incurs on hembrism/female supremacism and the dehumanisation of men/misandry.

Because electing the label "feminist" is thinking putting the priority of women first at the expense of men, since this benefited women, whilst damaging men due to the mere fact of being it, and to the one that chooses to be a feminist, that damage doesn't matter, but just that women are benefited.

Therefore, one has to stop insisting with the label "feminist", for it won't stop being a negative concept (due to misandry) just because a woman thinks on wearing it with a few "good acts". And for me, at least, the bad act of self-proclaiming as a feminist is enough to repudiate her.

Women wanted to be strong and independent so now they are responsible for their own protection.

It's odd how they paint men with a broad stroke but get mad when you do it to them. One of them mentioned that it was abusive if a man talks sh#t about his GF to another man. Like women don't do that? What's the context of the conversation. They also make assumptions that all men make rape jokes, or all men call women "it" or "that" when that's far from the truth. Also, no one has ever made a rape joke around me so should I hunt men down until I find one so I can tell him that's rude?

Yet, they go are cheering one another on when they talk about abusing men and treating men like second-class citizens. It's disgusting but it is done on purpose by academics that teach these women that they are justified in hating men. That all men are evil when men had to fight for the rights they have today. One of them was even angry because men can breed 365 days and women can't. So they blame men for unwanted pregnancies when it takes two to tango.

I feel sorry for young men that have to navigate through this nonsense.

Personally I've never heard any male in my social circle joke or banter about rape or violence against women, and many men have risked much to stop such ugliness. Not that any thanks would be forthcoming from the feminist cliques. I'm sure some men do joke about such things, but in 51 years I've yet to hear such talk.

Lastly since we're apparently such violent creatures who have between us thousands of years of experience in perpetrating and combatting violence over a very wide spectrum of brutality - they suggest being violent in turn? Why would you combat your opponent on ground the opponent is experienced and capable on? Completely irrational. Not surprising however.

I've long given up any hope of rational thought or discourse emerging from feminist quarters and the more opinions I read like this the further such hope fades. That sub (4thwavewomen) banned me from simply just commenting a few questions on their posts. As a woman who cares about actual equality, it sucks that they'll outright ban me (when I'm a woman) and anyone really just like that. Like there's no actual woman rights groups where women such as myself are allowed to dare question the methods of feminism or take a different approach to women's rights (other than r/feminismuncensored, but I'd argue that's more a sub for criticizing feminism than anything, which I'm fine with tbh.. but pure women (rights) groups honestly just suck). It's ridiculous that I am more welcome and free to speak my mind in mens groups such as this one than I am in women's groups. Women's groups ban anyone they don't like.
