You know what’s funny? If questioned about the intentions of feminism, I bet your friend would put her most naive face and proceed to tell you how she’s a feminist because she believes in equality, nothing more. Still, they keep sharing this kind of crap, so yeah, I have a hard time being convinced about the good intentions of the average feminist. Not only do they legitimize the institutional feminists who are even more misandrist than they are and who have actual power, but they provide evidences of their hatred of men every single day. This is why I’m always bothered when I see even some MRAs trying to make excuses and pretending that common feminists are more virtuous than they actually are. Don’t give them such credit.

Even if this is an edgy joke meant to blow off steam, its still in poor taste. Just reverse the roles and imagine what kind of uproar there would be. This reminds me a lot of things that the edgier incels used to say about "femoids" and whatnot.

What's truly disturbing though is its not just the female equivalent of male incels (or femcels, if you will) nor your average FDS user. This kind of stuff is getting somewhat mainstream. The fact that you said some of them have boyfriends is more than a little disturbing to me. I worry for those guys.

I had some friends who posted stuff like this on Facebook (although I would argue this is worse), I ignored it but I also started ignoring our friendship altogether. We don’t hang out anymore, and I’m cool with this.

I'm not sure if this (not mine) is related, because they mention "cis gay men", but I've seen many identical tweets with only "men".

The issue in those tweets seems to be a reaction to perceived transphobia, but that's just my guess.

So, this is one of many similar posts I've seen lately that just seem blatantly misandric. I've been friends with a lot of these women for a while, and as a guy, I get why a girl would be frustrated with the current political climate and feel the need to speak out. Posts like this one seem to pop up frequently no matter what I do, and I would rather not confront the women I know about it, because I feel it would not go anywhere for either of us, but I also can't help but want to say SOMETHING about it and how it affects guys to see these kinds if things.

It also makes me question why girls are confused that guys don't want to be Feminists when this is the kind of Rhetoric that gets spewed out all of the time.

I mean, how do you expect me to take you seriously that you want equality, when all you have to say is negative stuff about me?

WTF are 'friends who identify as women'? I believe in bona fide trans people who may have been born in a male body but after ample thinking decide they're better off as women. But this sounds like 'identifying' is a pastime to get through this boring world, and in this case, to flee from the gender identity you hate.
