In regards to education. What if we taught our children that looks, finances and social statuses does play a role when it comes to attracting the other gender?

Maybe it's because I was raised in a tradcon household, but these things were already common knowledge. Either explicitly stated or you could just see your parents/neighbors relationships. Even church taught it to a degree.

Ironically, those teachings were proven to not be as concrete when I left and got out into the real world.

This is already something children learn. Either they’re explicitly told or they pick up the implications from observing the world around them and this is even more likely to happen with social media. We grow up seeing, wealthy, high status and good looking people typically being treated better and enjoying privileges that people who don’t have those things don’t enjoy. People still become misogynists and misandrists. The issue isn’t them knowing what plays a role in attraction. The issue is them being unsuccessful at attracting others or encountering the worst of the sex they’re attracted to which causes them to become bitter and jaded. Left unchecked this grows into full fledged misogyny/misandry.

I think it's less teaching about it and more we need to stop the media and bad parenting from gaslighting children into thinking otherwise.

I think its social media supercharging our materialistic/selfish culture more than anything else.

That and wages going down the drain means that most young people will not have a better life than their parents and grandparents no matter how hard they work.

Women know those facts for sure from their early on experience - regardless of the woke fantasies like body positivity as they are rejected or dumped from the ones they want if some attractive one is coming around.

Men see it first hand when the rich and successful and sporty ones can select from a lined up row and they are rejected.

So what do you want to teach?

That said, I would love to have a generation who from their very beginnings were taught what’s really important for attracting women. Maybe then we wouldn’t have so many young men becoming depressed because they had to learn it the hard way.

But that would also require more men to be in teaching positions which won’t happen because the worsening societal stigma against men says we’re all pedos.

Yeah … I had the finance and social status one beat into me from childhood by my narcissist of a mother.

This isn’t revolutionary and plenty of parents do it. The one that is always missing because this seems weird and cruel to tell a kid that your attractiveness matters because for fucks sake - they’re kids. But I would start the baby version of appearance coaching with no matter what happens - don’t be fat.

We already do that and it's not turning out very well for men, because they only feel good about themselves if they have achieved all these things. At the same time the Chads of the world feel great about who they are without having to spend all their time working and achieving and they get to bang all the 18 year olds they want.

Yes we should, but we won’t because we’ve entered a society that cares way too much about hurting people’s feelings instead of giving them the truth. Can’t constructively criticize that man’s flaws - he has depression. Can’t constructively criticize that woman’s flaws - that’s misogynistic. Nobody wants to hear the ugly truths about the world, so they pretend they don’t exist and leave them for their kids to figure out.

I thought this was a given. I’m teaching my son that there are some fundamental personality qualities he needs to have, but also that his job and education level are going to be huge factors in the type of life and partner he will have. Is there anyone who says “drop out of high school if you want; it won’t matter!”?

Yes its a good idea to teach kids how society works and how shitty it is, that way you can make changes to it. Instead we are taught a bunch of lies and fantasies in media that the world is fair and equal.... its not, its just full of apes jumping around throwing faeces at everyone they don't like, with the biggest assholes having the biggest faeces..

it would certainly help the men because women are looking for a doctor or a lawyer. also women tend to give a free pass to men based on looks. but since men dont reciprocate they accuse them of having double standards. teach boys women are controlled by the lust of their eyes. if it isnt a face its luxury. eve saw the fruit was good for food and pleasant to the eyes.

I don’t think it would change the social dynamic. If anything, it just speeds up the actuality to what we live in today. Whether or not how you were raised, kids will eventually catch on that all of factors mentioned to OP’s title. It’s your duty and responsibility to adhere to maximizing your sexual value. Not up to someone to teach you that.

We should teach boys self confidence and applying positive feedback loops, aswell on focusing on their own skills and their own wellbeing.
