Hilarious that a feminist is expecting a sub to be open to her idiocy. Has she never been on ANY feminist sub? I do not think there are any that allow a free discussion.

Regina Turner comes to mind. Like this woman had everything. Married a multi millionaire spinal surgeon who was quite good looking as well. But ya as a wise man once said, you can't make a wife out of a hoe.

Doesn't matter what the reason is. Women seem to find some or the other reason to leave the guys they are with nowadays. Kinda makes the red pill level yourself up dating and marriage thing useless.

[–]thefudmaster 69 points70 points71 points 4 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link

It's because she lost the "feels" for her high earning surgeon husband. Look at professional athlete's when their wives or baby mama's leave them and extract every cent and more than they are entitled to. I don't understand why men still play the marriage game. Marriage is dead.

[–][deleted] 24 points25 points26 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I have to disagree. I don't think its a matter of losing the feels like they say, but rather the feels never having been there in the first place. Women like her will try a relationship without any feels in an attempt to see if she can feel something for the guy.

Basically what im saying is that every woman who says she broke up cos she lost the tingles is lying. The truth of the matter is that the tingles never existed.

[–]thefudmaster 15 points16 points17 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

There are still religious reasons to get married. But nothing more.

[–]thefudmaster 31 points32 points33 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

That’s what religious organizations say but the stock is no better there either.

[–]jack_Me_hoffman 6 points7 points8 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

For me, unless I was having a child I wouldn't get married. Too dangerous otherwise.

[–]KangarooCrapper 12 points13 points14 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

That was my question also. What are men thinking??

[–]OverkillengineCasts Pearls to the Swine 16 points17 points18 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

If the men are remotely aware of the dynamics at work, it usually due to a Fallacy of association. They think feel that they have found the special woman who is an exception thus making themselves special for finding them. This is obviously a very erroneous ego investment to make from a more detached point of view.

And one usually cannot dissuade them from this unfortunately. Men don't redpill men, women do.

[–]KangarooCrapper 10 points11 points12 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Men don't redpill men, women do...That's for sure!!

Once he signs the marriage contract and impregnates her, it's already game over due to the current legal situation. The law will enforce every male traditional responsibility on him and none of the female traditional responsibility on her. Women are not required to do anything beyond getting him to marry her, so that is the last thing she will achieve.

Also, women divorcing their husbands after they get a raise proves why marrying a "highly educated" woman is a losing bet. She will still avoid paying more than the man for "joint expenses", and when she no longer does, she will just divorce him. 100% guarantee a husband will never see a dime in financial returns on that "highly educated" woman.

[–]thefudmaster 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Agreed. The only women being punished by the system currently are celebrities like Kelly Clarkson and Adele. The feminists are screaming at the rooftops about the alimony amounts their husbands are being paid.

Husband? Didn't she say for better or worse as part of the terms and conditions for marriage? Mayby if she supported and encoraged him more rather than put him down he might do better for her?

Better cars? - probably funded by more debt. Its often a shallow illusion. I actually drive a shit car on purpose because it keeps women like this away lol

Its pretty much the same deal with houses as well.....

I drive a small Volkswagon. Any fem ioi'ing me is not doing it because of my $$$$.

I have a Car collection of porsches and benzes and a yacht as well .... they do not have to know...

[–]mistralol 16 points17 points18 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I buy cars when they are 7-8 years old often ones used as a small run around. So I get a car at like £2.5k and then run it into the ground until it fails... Also I tend to buy them outright..... so no loan buy them cash off the dealer for additional discount (10%) cause you don't run it though the compay books..... So you split the VAT tax with the guy your dealing with.

Last car I had for costs for car + maintenance was £26/mo which is cheaper than the gym / sat / mobile phone contract TV contract here lol.

Lifetime of a car here seems to be about 15-17 years before they fail from rust (web climate). So even a £15k car / 15 / 12 = £83/mo in costs...

Also last car I had was covered in dents because when you take it to the supermarket people just open their doors into the side of other peoples cars....

and often they think i rent..... rather than kow about owning most of the house outright and only a few years to go on the mortage.... eg my mortage costs 50% of the price of rent across the street in the same house / area.

In two minds about the boat... mayby later :) Note: I do / can sail and have done long distance trips in yachts eg UK -> Spain etc... sister used to work as a yacht broker so I know how to get deals in that area as well lol.....

[–]michael1962-01 9 points10 points11 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I buy cars new. I do not care if a benz is 100k$ or 200k$ as i have the top S class model or the cabriolet SL i have.

Just a cross on every available option and thats fine for fun.

I had the CL two tines two - but only as v8 not the v12

Those cars are driven not much kilometers and reside in my collection.

The porsches i have - different story.

The real cool one the 924 Carrera GT with the Power Update 1.4 bar was a beast at that time. 340 hP on the test @1080kg weight. Boost for 2 seconds to 440hP

I crashed it on a track at 150 mph - i survived due to the GTS cage and the 6 point belts.

I still have a 928 GTS from the last years model ('93) - a car caoable of 190 mph in my collection.

That one is near 300.000 km driven for fun.

But

A harley with screaming eagle tuning is more "direct" and fun

For the boats

I just have a small 12mx3.9m sleeping 8 max plus 2 crew

But for everyday and women i have a volkswagon....

I drive a small Volkswagon. Any fem ioi'ing me is not doing it because of my $$$$.

Haha! Exactly this. 1985 VW Jetta, myself. Practically showroom condition, for sure, but when I started dating after being widowed I got a lot of women suddenly downgrading me into the mud once I pulled up in it. Plus, my daily wear and carry is solidly middle-class schlub. You would never be able to pick me out as someone who is stupidly wealthy.

Joke is on them, tho: a serendipitous series of employment decisions at the end of the dot-com boom of the late 90s, combined with judicious investing and pretty well never touching a penny of it, means that I have a net worth that most non-CEOs can only dream about. I only work because I want to, and even my current wage is such that I usually sock away more than half of it.

I have a Car collection of porsches and benzes and a yacht as well .... they do not have to know...

I live even more simply. I inherited the friends I have from my late wife, they do enough to drag me out on exotic vacations with fancy toys that most people are lucky to take once in a lifetime (I pay my own way, mind you). My own place is a nondescript house in your average “working-class neighbourhood” (have to conditional that, as most “entry-level” homes in my city are now $1.5M+), and I love it. I have my garden that I putter around in, a decent library that I curate, a basement filled with tech to play with, and a temperate rainforest just up the street to take lovely hiking trips into. And if I want companionship, my cats are welcome to curl up on top of me when I snuggle down with a good book. Which they do, quite frequently.

...... i love a "playroom" with technology.

... 000 granite 2m x 1m , laser interferometer, 5 axis HSC milling machine, turning machine, electronic development tools, dsp technology, logic analyzers, scopes, generators, high frequency technologie rx+tx .... and a lot more....

Sometimes you need to play a little...

[–]Mefic_vestWAATGM Endorsed 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

well. rp says cars dont matter… ure saying the opposite??

Cars by themselves, in isolation from societal framing, don’t matter.

Cars IRL, with societal framing do matter. They are not the pinnacle, but are an important piece of the overall image that is projected in an attempt to attract.

Because no professional woman worth her salt is gonna take a second look at any dude with a tired vehicle that looks every year of its 2-3 decades of age, unless it is a high-profile statement car that is meant to say volumes regardless of its age.

Sometimes age is a factor in that statement, such as with classic cars that are restored back to engineer’s specifications, and are old enough to stand out for their age by itself. That’s why a minty 1959 Cadillac Coupe DeVille is gonna turn heads regardless of who is driving it - the investment needed to obtain it and keep it in good shape speaks to deep pockets.

Other times it is the rarity of that vehicle that is going to still turn heads if it’s well taken care of. A first-gen Dodge Viper is still going to turn heads thanks to its ostentatiousness and rarity (I haven’t seen one in years now).

The point being, a display of superfluously-spent wealth is critical to advertising yourself as a man with plenty of resources. It’s why gangsters wear gold chains and fake cowboys drive pavement princesses that never see dirt or grime in their beds.

Vehicles are - pardon the pun - just one vehicle by which our current society allows men to display their ability to acquire resources, and therefore, become relevant to any woman seeking a provider. It may not be a huge tool, or even one that’s consistently used by men, but it has been in common and persistent use since the very early days of motorized transport.

[+]Dense_Transition_485 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

wealth display is the opposite of rp lessons. its not a part of social proof too. social proof comes from people. not cars

wealth display is the opposite of rp lessons. its not a part of social proof too. social proof comes from people. not cars

Then a majority of women haven’t gotten this memo yet.

It’s been my experience that there are three things that affect almost 100% of women to a significant degree, the exact mix that is effective depending very much on who they are:

  1. Extreme wealth (and displays thereof)
  2. Physical stature (usually handsomeness, but even being physically intimidating can help - personal experience here, being built like a linebacker but with a face that frightens children)
  3. Power/status, either politically, economically, or socially

Social proof is only a portion of the overall equation. With some women it is unduly effective, with others it really doesn’t have an effect and other attributes listed above dominate.

Even the wealth angle can be trivially supported: Fifty Shades of Grey only works as a titillating book for women because Christian Gray is stupidly wealthy. If he was an unemployed layabout in a crumbling double-wide, it would be classified as a horror novel instead.

Remember: she will jump ship the moment she thinks she can get something better.

Best thing you can do is focus on yourself (body, mind, and property), and never sign a legal contract that's based on the extremely capricious whims of women. That's as good as signing your own bill of sale on your slave auction.

[–]Joaquino7997 40 points41 points42 points 4 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

You have to wonder how truly serious these women are when they take those marriage vows. Are they REALLY serious about committing to their husband forever and always; or are they only doing it for attention or because they need some excuse to be the center of attention for a day?

Getting 'attention' from male co-workers who seem to have it together could very well be a facade. They may be seeing other (younger) women. They may just want a chance to hit it and quit it. They may be narcissists.

Or all of the above.

After my grandfather passed my grandmother told me that if they had grown up in today's society, they most definitely would have gotten divorced during one of their rough patches. But because divorce just wasn't something you did back then they pushed through the rough spots and spent 60 years together. She's glad they stayed together.

Now that divorce is normalized and there's far less stigma on divorced people everyone just bails when they hit a rough spot. Women think they should always be happy and if they're not happy they need to radically change something rather than make some adjustments. They are the gender of replace, don't repair.

I read a great post on this, but doubt I could find it now. Anytime a woman says something to you, mentally insert "right now, I feel like" in front of it. Life becomes much simpler when you stop expecting them to remain true to their word.

I'd say that this is not something unusual. There are myriads cases, where wife left husband after becoming more fit or getting promoted. But the saddest thing is that most of these instances could be avoided - if one have looked deep enough down to that woman's soul, he would find that susceptibility to this type of behavior was already there.

One of them actually said to her husband "I've lost weight and I can get better men than you, now" just like the Quora article used in this post. Ruthless. Heartless. Narcissism. It fucking devastated him.

Here we go again. I can't count how many times I've seen this story. Woman has an amazing husband but starts thinking the grass is greener on the other side. Blows up the marriage to go ride the cc but keeps getting pumped and dumped by Chad and Tyrone. Regrets it later. Ends in "Where are all the good men?"

But not before telling anyone who would listen that she left the marriage because the husband was "abusive" and the relationship was "toxic".

I decided I deserve more and better

Yeah, that's now how that works. You are not the arbiter of "what you deserve." Other people are. Specifically the people who have whatever it is you want.

Those men expressing interest in you (only now that you're fit, mind)? They get to decide whether you "deserve" their time, attention and resources. Presumably many of them already know you're married. They probably also know how little you think of your husband - and why - because narcissistic cunts like you just can't help but tell on yourselves to anyone who will listen.

I expect most of those men will be only too happy to stand back and watch (and laugh) as you pull the pin on your own life, then tell you to pound sand when you come sniffing 'round their territory. Probably some of 'em will put you into rotation as a 3am weekend sport fuck, at least until you start getting clingy and they next you.

I just hope at least a couple of 'em are decent enough folks to reach out to your ex-husband and do what they can to help him through the mess you'll make of his life. And hopefully document it all to show you as he picks up the pieces and moves on to something better while you descend into bitter spinsterhood.

What about the 40s guy who is now in demand on the sexual market? Does he DESERVE to dump his wife for a younger model?

[–]ogrilla99Pez "The Pussy Dispenser" Pimp 23 points24 points25 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Only problem is, the current wife will take half his shit. The way current divorce laws are structured, the woman is always entitled to half a man's wealth, but he's never entitled to even a 10th of her beauty and attraction. That would be patriarchal.

Ironically, one of the fastest growing group of people advocating for reforming alimony and child support is 2nd wives: they realize that, with half his income going to the first wife, her own children and needs are coming second to someone her husband hasn't been with for years / decades. Again, a problem only gets addressed when it starts affecting women...

[–]Hy3w_mong0u5 11 points12 points13 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Just take that in. Second wives are campagning for alimony reforms. Not out of fairness or any sense of compassion, but purely out of a sense of: "Hold on, if I were to divorce this schmuck for not being Chad, I'd ONLY get half of what's left after he's already given half of his wealth to his first wife! That's just not FAYURRR on mEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!"

"GIVE ME HIS MONEY" is literally the female default setting.

Don't settle with 23+ women. CC ruins pair bonding. Vet 18-23 women thoroughly.

Pair bonding = loyalty. If she does not want to invest her prime years in you, she's settling for you. Will cheat and leave you as soon as a better option presents itself. Then will come crawling back after Chad(s) pump and dump her.

Wow what a selfish arrogant woman. As others have noted strong hypergamy here. Sounds like my ex.

She wanted a bigger house, she wanted to stay at home and have more money, needed a fancier car than what I gave her in our first decade together (I was building a business at the time).

Today she and hubby #2 have refinanced the smaller house they purchased, now 3 times, since they married 18 years ago (they have approx. 20% equity in it as I'm informed by her brother who I still talk to, and the only reason they haven't borrowed against that is because their credit scores suck)....the house I bought 10 years after we divorced is paid off (I rented for the first 5 years after the divorce because I was still building my business). It's twice the size of the one she and I had when we were married, and, she was driving the car I bought for her until about 8 years ago (so it was something like 22 years old) and the one she replaced it with was a used version of that same car, not a better car, and to top it all off....combined, the two of them made less in each of the last three years (she's still working 20 years after we divorced) than I made in the months of July and August this year.

It looks like she got everything she worked for.

(Nothing).

Karma is truly a wonderful thing :)

On the bright side, if she did get promoted and is now making decent money, her poor husband won't be on the hook for alimony (child support is a different matter though assuming they have kids).

Plus, he'll get to watch his wife destroy her life chasing guys who'll pump-n-dump her. Seeing the look of horror on her face when she realizes interest in fucking doesn't translate to interest in a long-term relationship, might just be worth the divorce. As a thank-you gift for freeing him from the bonds of this sham marriage, he should buy her a cat.

Funny how the first thing a woman thinks about when she earns more money is to leave her family, not help her family.

[–]Hy3w_mong0u5 8 points9 points10 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

A man makes more money and his first thought will be to use the extra money towards paying off any debts/bills, trying to reduce any financial burden on his partner's shoulders, to leave more money for quality time together and strengthening the relationship.

A woman makes more money and it's literally "iM bEtTEr tHaN YOu NoW, sEe YA!"

What is it that these women always say? “If he doesn’t want me at my worst, then he doesn’t deserve me at my best.”? He wanted you at your worst and now you still say he doesn’t deserve you at your best. What a piece of work. I honestly don’t see how these women can’t see why men have stopped marrying. Guess if they didn’t have double standards, they wouldn’t have any standards at all.

They didn't just want them at their worst, they accepted them at their worst, they fell in love with them at their worst, they committed to them at their worst, they got down on one knee and asked for their hand in marriage at their worst, they married them at their worst, they did their best to assume the responsibilites of married life and keep their wives happy at their worst.

Then the wife loses a bit of blubber and kicks them to the curb. DO. NOT. MARRY.

Here’s a cautionary tale: My friend from college (older than me) left her husband of 7 years for the same reasons. She met him in college, lusted after him and hooked him into marriage. After 2 beautiful kids and a nice house, she decided that she could do better. 14 years later, her kids are off to college, she doesn’t own a home and her career is very unstable. After the divorce, she dated a series of boyfriends who mooched off of her. She tried to hook the others into marriage, but they didn’t bite. To hook her latest guy, who is 10 years younger, she is now pregnant with his child at the age of 42. He also has a 13 year old child from a previous relationship. He may be handsome, but it appears he will not commit to her, even though she elected to have his child. He already had another child from a relationship. She has had so many emotional breakdowns as well as manic moments of joy. Her life is a roller coaster. In my opinion, she has made some bad moves. The divorce actually destroyed both of them financially. Even from a money standpoint, their wealth would have quadrupled because of the value of their home alone. Both of them are in relationships with very unstable people. I hate to say this, they have both fallen many rungs down on the social ladder of life. The kids hated the divorce and begged for them to get back together. You may want to take a long, hard look at why you think trading in a man who chose to make a lifetime commitment to you is worth discarding. Remember, if you run after a man with more money, a better job and social standing, who is to stay that he might not trade you in for a younger model in a few years

And that's one of the better possible outcomes. Men with a working brain damn well know that if a woman will cheat for him, she'll cheat on him too.

So he may just take the easy sex and refuse to commit at all.

Ya all got this wrong. That's a masculine dude talking about dumping his husband. Almost every comment is along the lines of feminine women are messed up, but this is clearly a masculine dude, like catfishing you. I guess.

This dude has got the self improvement kick, the successful competitive job, the new gym bod, the middle age crisis expensive car, enjoying the attention and admiration from other potential mates. Surprised there's no dick size bragging, LOL.

This is not a story about a feminine person and a masculine person met and look how modern women are crappy at being feminine. Which is admittedly true in an abstract sense, but its not the point of this story. This is a story about two masculine dudes living masculine lives with masculine goals and achievements, and instead of bro-ing up as roommates typically do, they are competing and now the dominant male is not respecting the submissive male and he wants out.

Its hard to say if the story, or either side of the story, is "good" or "bad" without hearing the other side's explanation. If the "happy couple" is two masculine males and both want to try the domme - sub gay lifestyle, then they are quite literally living the dream as life is turning out just like their desires. If the other masculine guy was falsely advertised this dude is a woman who later comes out as a domme successful masculine man, well, that's like not even divorce that's more like outright fraud. Its like in 2021 if the groom doesn't grab the crotch of the bride before marriage and later discovers a dick there, it's kinda the grooms fault, it is 2021 after all. Is this like a "trans love story" or was the dude always a dude all along or what?

What I'm getting at, is if the husband is married to a successful dude, the whole tone of the story depends on what the husband thought he was originally marrying. If he thought he was marrying a woman, he's a fraud victim. If he knew all along he was going to end up a gay submissive and he likes that idea, I'm not seeing an issue (its not for me, but if he likes it, go have fun dude, or as the case is, dudes).
