Good thing I didn't have sex with him then if neither of us wanted to and he felt so pressed about it. People think weird things and lie about sex all the time and it's not like it's the worst thing someone's made up about me in this regard. Just a "you wish" and an eye roll is fine.

Funnily, my first week of college, I met a guy (Let's call him K) and we took edibles together one afternoon. We split ways that evening, but exchanged numbers since we're the first person either had met here so far. K left because he was going go a party, and I was stoned and alone in my dorm listening to music, relaxing.

About two hours later, I get a call from an unknown number, and it's the hostess of the party saying that K was basically incoherent and throwing up, and only managed to tell them to call me, as he knew no one else.

He'd gotten sick because he'd taken more edibles than he should have, (he had apparently lied to me about taking them before; he was entirely new to it and ate way more than he could handle).

Anyway, I go collect him from the party since they didn't want to take care of him, and I took him back to my dorm while high as fuck myself. I set up a plastic bin with a grocery bag in it for him to puke into, I got him a cold cloth for his forehead because he was sweating a lot. I was very afraid he was going to choke on his own vomit because he couldn't keep his head up on his own.

Marijuana happened to be illegal at the state during this, so I was terrified of what would happen should he die because of edibles I gave him. I stayed up the whole night taking care of him and watched while he slept just in case. In the morning, he was fine, thanked me and went on his way.

About two weeks later I had a girl ask me if K and I had slept together. I told her no and asked her why she should think that, and apparently K had been telling people he and I slept together that night—when he had actually been throwing up and unable to stay upright. I was confused as to why he'd lie, but ultimately it didn't matter what he said and, according to the girl, she was asking because K was also lying about having slept with her—and about 8 other girls.

It was really strange to lie about. And apparently no one believed him, anyway, and none of the girls really seemed upset from what I could tell, just surprised as to that he'd lie about something like that.

Word got around that he was lying about it and no really reacted in any notable way, just regarded him less trustworthy. One guy did give sell K shitty weed, though, because K had apparently included the guy's gf in the lie, when they had never even hung out together; they just shared a class.

Oddly, K was actually a good looking guy. Like almost everyone thought so. He was conventionally, physically attractive. Him lying about getting laid by 10 different girls was ironic.

TLDR, It comes back to this: I didn't care when this guy lied about us having sex, I'm certainly not gonna care about a guy lying and saying we didn't have sex because "he rejected me".

Still: why would you date someone you didn't want to have sex with?

Why would I care? We don’t live in the 50s anymore, what he lies about my sex life doesn’t have a profound impact on anything. The fact that he feels the need to talk about me says a lot.

I wouldn’t say anything in response because I don’t really care. I might correct him if he said or did something assholish that made me not want to date him anymore/sleep with him. But I wouldn’t be dating someone in the first place who I knew I wasn’t interested in sexually.
