Ex, is hammering me with false allegations, I had so many police interviews, and every time my lawyer comes with me, it's about $8000-$1000

Our divorce started in June, and since then, my lawyer bill hasn't been less than $5k/month. I changed lawyer, and the new lawyer is great, and I trust her. It is not the lawyer billing me, but my ex is going too much with so many false allegations, and my lawyer is just responding.

At this rate, I might continue for another month before breaking. My wife has already been causing me a lot of issues at my workplace; I called HR, and she accused me of not being ethical at work and might lose my job and be without income. I don't see how to fight.

Now I am denting my 401k and won't have much left soon.

Any idea on how to deal with this? Will this tension ever lessen? Anything I can do to drive her bills up too? I know she's looking over my call history, so I thought I could mess with her mind a little bit.

She has access to an almost eliminated source of money. I was wondering if I could force the sale of my house to put pressure on her either to pay me my part now or move a deal to get some cash to support myself.

Maybe trying to force sale at this point will also increase my lawyer fee.

Any thoughts, guys?
