We know how all the 80/20 rule thing is wrong, but I also find the whole "women have as many good options as men since most men offer low quality sexual adanves" wrong.

Women

I created a fake woman's profile on OkCupid and r/ForeverAloneDating, below average looking in the OkCupid case and no picture at all on the subreddit. I wrote a complex and lenghty bio to test whether men read it or not and then went to the the messages. In both cases, my fake profile of an average to below average looking woman received several dozens of high quality messages from men who read my bio carefully and related to it, while also showing appreciation for my personality. In the ForeverAloneDating case, my female profile didn't even have a picture so it's not even like men contacted me because they felt the average-to-below looking woman was subjectively hot. In both cases I received 0 dick pictures and 1 sexual message only.

If a woman avoids hookup apps like Tinder, it really feels like "easy mode" for them. I don't understand whether they lie to us because of virtue signalling or if women who complain haven't yet realized that Tinder is a hookup app, not a relationship app, as men seem eager to give average and below women a chance for a relationship too on the right platform. How can one call most men "low quality creeps" for using a dating app for its intended purpose? A relationship app is for relationships, a hookup app is for hookups.

Men

For reference, a male profile of an average man gets almost 0 messages or matches on both OkCupid and ForeverAloneDating. It seems extremely easy for a woman to find a guy who wants to be her boyfriend and appreciates her personality while it's extremely hard for an average looking young man to find even one option in 2023.
