I read somewhere about 2/3rd of men don't wash their hands. This is why I don't let men even touch me til they've showered. If they're not washing their hands they most likely have traces of urine/shit on them and will give you a UTI😂😂😂😂

When he took me to meet his family, no one washed their hands before sitting down for brunch. All of them (3 generations, with a baby among them!) had just pet the dog and had their hands licked and took off their shoes with those same hands that then proceeded to touch all the food on the table.

Same guy also once told me he hasn’t showered in 3 days, I was like “EWWW and I let you touch me” to which he responded “What, it’s not like I got filth on me, I didn’t go to the gym or anything”

Same guy who wanted to have sex once but as soon as he whipped it out it stank of actual piss so I declined saying “I am omw to the gym and we can do that after we both shower” so he put on porn on his phone to jack off with me still in the room.

Hygiene is the peak of the iceberg as far as fragile masculinity goes. At least you can see and smell it. But there's much, much more under the surface. Many things he will refuse to engage on because it doesn't fit his bafflingly narrow, inherently hateful concept of being a man.

Consider it a red flag and move on.

Is this a US thing? In my Atheist Scottish family we've still got the cultural remnants of hardcore Scottish protestant Christianity kicking about. The "godliness" might have gone, but the cleanliness remains strong. The men don't have a problem washing themselves. I remember my dad banging on the bathroom door when my brother was in the shower and loudly reminding him about proper intimate male hygiene on a pretty regular basis when he was a kid.

Just don't you dare have an unopened packet of period products in view anywhere!

This is actually a really important topic given the global health issues we’re having with Covid-19.

Hygiene - especially hand hygiene - is so incredibly important right now. I really wonder how much of this pandemic could have been curtailed if men would practice better hygiene.

Obviously, we ALL have to wash our hands, wear masks, and practice social distancing, but let’s face it...men are so much less likely to be compliant with these measures. Scrotes have been pressuring women for dates/casual sex since the beginning of the lockdown, and they’ve always had hygiene issues. Men are just less careful, less likely to take medical advice, less likely to see a doctor when they’re sick, and more likely to engage in risky behavior. I think these factors are really adversely effecting the health of our communities right now.

My brother has autistic spectrum syndrome. He lives in a healthcare facility cause he can’t take proper care of himself. Your dad is worse than my brother. I mean he doesn’t wash his hand after going to the toilet either, but it you tell him to go wash his hands with soap, he does it. (Have to be specific though, he’s autistic). He is 27 years old but you can tell him to wash his hands, stop picking his nose etc. He can even do some things on his own, now that it is routine. He brushes his teeth two times a day. He has a smart toothbrush who helps him, but he does it.

So my conclusion is that your dad should go and live in a healthcare facility if he needs around the clock care to be hygienic. It’s a burden my mom and I don’t take on for our son and brother, so why should your mom for your dad? He’s worse than an ASS person.

My brother is the only person in my life I will accept with lousy hygienic standards. He can’t do anything about it himself. But I will never accept any other person in my life to be the same as or worse than my brother. That just means your mental health is not what it should be and you need help. Not mine though.

My dad is exactly like this, just add in also not flushing the toilet after he uses it. What kind of person doesn't flush the toilet?. He also pees in bottles and leaves them all over his room until my mum empties them for him. Our entire downstairs area has a bad smell you can smell from the hallway because his room has a lot of smell and filter that spreads to the whole downstairs area. He also doesn't care to lock the door when using the bathroom which really made us uncomfortable as kids.

Omfg yes it's disgusting!!!!!! When I caught my ex going to the bathroom without washing his hands I got into a huge argument with him about it because he actually believed his hands 'weren't dirty' because he 'didn't touch anything'. Even after going #2. I had to show him research that shows germs can easily penetrate toilet paper and washing hands is necessary to avoid diseases. It's just fucking laziness, we all learn to wash our hands in preschool yet somehow only the women retain that knowledge? He would clean the fucking toilet or wipe his piss off the ground around the toilet and refuse to wash his hands after because he "didn't touch anything". I asked him if he really thought it was ok to come touch my body without washing his hands and he just didn't get it. I stopped being sexually attracted to him pretty much instantaneously.

I don’t normally date conservative men but the one I did came from a farming backround and was scrubbed within a inch of inch of his life for dates + showed up with a clean truck. My Dad never wore deodorant despite stinking to high heaven in the height of summer. He didn't wash his hands after using the toilet. Yet, he would be so worried about food and drink hygiene and worked in disease prevention. My mother and I with my siblings kept the house clean.

In old age, he now accepts my request for him to wear deodorant, sending him for a bath and asking him to wash his hands. He feels it's right to listen to me because I help him and he could not manage alone. If these activities were abhorrent, surely he'd resist sometimes.

It completely makes my blood boil. I have a story for this one, too.

In January 2020 my one month old son at the time was hospitalized with RSV. We stayed in the hospital for a week, and my son’s dad (LVM) would come by after work to visit us. He gets up to use the bathroom in our hospital room, and doesn’t wash his hands! Meanwhile, our infant son is laying in a hospital bassinet sick from something HE very well could’ve exposed him to. I literally had to fight this man to wash his hands. He said “I didn’t touch anything!” Huh?? You didn’t touch your pants or your schlong or the flusher on the toilet? The door handles? Come on dude. It was infuriating but it’s good to know that I’m not the only person flabbergasted by this behavior

I've never met a man who brushes his teeth twice a day and flosses. Hand washing is uncommon, I know this because I've cleaned enough restaurant toilets whilst supporting myself through college. Every day I had to top up the women's toilet tissues and hand soap. In the men's toilets? Hardly ever. Speaks for itself. How can they not bear the thought of urine and faeces on their hands?

On the topic of this post, yes, I noticed this. The stats on men not washing their hands are shocking. I don't know how they can touch their dicks and then say they didn't touch anything, if I touched the centre of my universe and reason for living, I would recall that.

I had a male friend. No longer friends. I was at his house. He bounded off to the loo and I didn't hear him wash his hands. I was so revolted. I didn't say anything. Maybe I imagined it. He went again later, didn't wash them and came in, he could tell I was feeling disgusted because he asked if I was ok and STROKED MY FACE. It might sound crazy, but I couldn't speak I was so disgusted. I even got a bit teary-eyed. To think that someone I knew was so used to acting like this that it is second-nature, that this is how so many of them genuinely live (that I had 100% met the statistical majority now), that every time he had ever touched me EVER he must've been filthy. To think that I was too scared to say can you not get your nasty germs on my face because he was so toxic, so easily. Scared to ask someone to not touch you with their dick-germs in case they snap? I dunno, it really hit different.
