For males, absence of a healthy sex life comes with severe penalties. Depression, low confidence, low social standing. Women on the other hand see no value in sex because they can get it easily.

I think we will see more males that opt out and or become bitter. Technology will do its part to keep these males sedated. Not happy, but content enough. Itll fit perfectly into the cyberpunkish dystopia that awaits us all in the near future.

I think it only seems like women don't value sex as much because it's so much more abundant for them. Most men don't have it thrown at them nearly as often so sex seems way more scarce.

It's sort of like food. In a first world country, people don't even think about food that much. It's so plentiful. If you offer someone a grilled cheese sandwich, they may take it or leave it. Doesn't matter. They could always eat later. Take that grilled cheese to a 3rd world country and it's going to look pretty damn good.

If you think women don’t value sex, go to dead bedrooms. Our sex drive is different and our sexual imperatives often different too, but women absolutely care about sex. They probably have more complaints about quality, while men are more likely to be unsatisfied with quantity, but women care about sex.

I’d say a healthy sex life is very important but it comes with more effort than I think most men are ready to give. As men we’re kind of taught that “female orgasm is a myth” “there is no gspot” “I got mine” and this leads to unsatisfying sex for both parties. Women are unsatisfied because the guy does 5 minutes of missionary and this leads to women not really putting out any extra effort because the guy isn’t. Also men have to put down the porn, get off the internet, and listen to what women want and your sex life will be better.

I don't think that sex is that important. Sure, it's good to have but I never focused on it too much.

I'm in a relationship so I have sex quite often, but if suddenly something happened and my man couldn't do anything sexual, I wouldn't leave him.

I think that sex should not be a performance, women should not have to do painful or degrading things during sex to fulfill their partners fantasies (and vice versa). Sure, both partners should work on pleasing each other, bo no one should feel pressured to try anal or tighting up.

In other words, not every fantasy has to be fulfilled, especially when it's painful or harmfull in other ways.

I agree with this. I've seen endless college guys complain about... sure they have a sex life but its always with girls uglier compared to themselves. They might be decent looking but not that sexy women. And they've only had a few ONS with women they consider really attractive & turns them on.

That 9/10th of young men might have girlfriends sure, and they might be having a lot of sex with those girlfriends? Doubtful, but sure. But are they looks match or sexier than the man? Women on the other hand can have sex with 20 guys a week if they really wanted to with tinder. Even without any OLD they can have a guy over at their apartment instantly if they socialize. Sex being this easy for them makes it less valuable I guess, natural abundance. But also sex carries a lot more risk for them, both physically AND mentally (the main thing young gen z girls seem to ignore). It's also less pleasurable and tougher to orgasm for girls, she has to see the guy as a catch & he has to be great at sex to make her reach it multiple times.

I think 90% of girls having the sex life they want is too high, probably 6-7/10th of young girls, if we're talking about all the average looking to attractive ones which pretty much just means not being fat or obese then ya 90%.

Idk, its complicated... are we talking about having a healthy sex life, or having a happy dreamy sex life? Then its just 30-40% of sexy women, and they get that happy dreamy fun action packed sex life by being promiscuous. These women love sex, because they love fun, and sex being possible is part of the fun. In the way guys use them for their bodies, they use men for fun & stories to tell.

As a single woman, I'm not currently doing anything to get sex, and it's not something that I really crave or feel like I'm desperately missing out on. Sex is an act that can be enjoyable and is an important part of a relationship, but it's not something I obsess over.

I highly encourage OP to look up sexual satisfaction statistics among women in general. You may be surprised to find out just how many women fake pleasure during sex in order to protect the male ego, or how many women experience chronic discomfort/pain, or a general lack of libido (which also causes emotional distress).

I myself have vaginismus and have also NEVER had an orgasm ever in my life (not even alone), despite having tried EVERYTHING. I have had extremely attentive, caring partners and communicate with them in great detail.

I’ve also gone as much as 6 years without having sex—and it was not fun. More so for emotional, rather than physical, reasons. To answer your question though, sex isn’t super important to me because I know I can function without it. But I suspect it’s also not important to me because sex, well, has just been kind of a sucky experience in general.

For me, a healthy, satisfying sex life is important because, if I had it, then I would feel validated as a man. I would feel like I was a “Real Man,” worthy of the love and respect of women.* When I was in my early 20s, sex was purely a carnal desire, but that was just a phase. Now, its all about validation.

For the 80-90% men who don’t have satisfying sex lives, the only thing that can be done about it is to change and alter what the societal and cultural expectations of men are, which is a years long process. Generations even. Simply put, the standard of Monogamy - everyone gets a husband and a wife who loves them for who they are and is always sexually available to them - needs to be smashed and discredited once and for all.

I take the opposite view of the redpillers here. The answer isn’t to roll back the sexual revolution, its to submit to it. Men would be happier if we stopped expecting them to get married and have kids. They’d be happier if their individuality was embraced and accepted by society. To women, I don’t honestly know as I’m not one. But from an outside perspective it’s very important as many women do vent their frustrations on how much “bad sex” they’re having with men they hookup with. Women find a healthy sex life when in LTRs with men they want to fuck, women consider it “teaching” men what they like and gets them off. It’s also a two way street as well, as the women also ensure the man is happy too.

For men, honestly sex is relatively the same with the same outcome regardless as long as there is some attraction. We’re just easier to get off, I don’t know a dude who just doesn’t like doggy style and for like, idk, a high majority of men that’s good enough. Really a healthy sex life for most men is not so much the sex itself (unless it’s just so bad and she doesn’t do anything) it’s the level of sex he is having and the amount of partners he’s doing it with. Some men are cool with just one partner for the rest of their life, I have a friend who has been with the same girl for like 9 years and he has no eyes for anyone else and they basically fuck like rabbits. For many men it’s about putting more numbers on their n count, mostly through ONS and some FWBs. Almost every man wants to be the stud rotating women and taking women home from the bar for a period, and most of those men can’t do it because they’re not attractive enough and can maybe get a lay once every 3 months or so and it takes them tons of rejection to even get them there. It’s almost like looking for a job in that unless you’ve got a resume that’s iron clad, you’re gonna have a bad time. So those men aren’t having a healthy sex life for them, because they’re not racking up the numbers and frequency.
