I don't think everything will become unisex, as people will be comfortable expressing themselves in different ways and some of those ways are usual, but the popularity of many things will increase for men soon.

Some unisex options are already more popular than their gendered counterparts (perfumes, for example). I think we'll start to see a shift in men's style too as things considered feminine today (but which were previously unisex) will make a resurgence.

To be honest, I think a lot of our modern notions of "men's vs women's" is a very new and very American division.

Probably not what you meant, but I keep several sandwich bags stored around. Each has a Maxi-Pad and 3 tampons. One bag in my tacklebox, one in my toolbox, two bags in my first aid kit, two in the trunk of my car, and one in my range bag. I don't even have a vagina, I live alone, and I find it a 100% valid purchase.

Also, I make and wear my own earrings, deep in the bible belt. I've been told by some local "manly men" it won't be long before I'm wearing makeup. I doubt it; I'd go broke constantly buying product to match my tan as seasons change.

Gender norms shift gradually in and out of favor. 150 years ago, men slept predominantly in nightgowns. Of course they didn't call them that...but it's a dresslike gown that was worn at night. In 150 years, who knows what that's seen as "girly" today will be seen as "totally unisex" then.

I think it has more to do with the nature/biology of men, than with society itself. Cis straight men avoid everything that is related to femininity (because "its gay"), except women. It is also important for dating, since women usually aren't into fem guys. I also believe that there's things that will always be associated with one gender.

I think that more men will use more feminine products but in a more masculine way. For example, makeup that emphasises feminine features doesn't look great on men, but it can be used in new ways that emphasises masculine features and looks good. If a man wears a woman's dress it'll look bad as it's made for a different shape, but it can be made to fit his body.

It is already happening but products thought of as feminine are simply rebranded in a masculine manner. Men never used to be interested in skin care routines, hair color, and now a larger percentage are.

Folks have said makeup, but I’m going to make it even more specific: concealer. I know several and otherwise traditionally masculine straight men who quietly use concealer to reduce dark undereye circles, and I wouldn’t be surprised if that becomes increasingly more common now that we live in a culture where we see so many photos of ourselves. A little dab of concealer goes a long way in making folks look more awake, rested and alert, and I think it’ll gradually become common for men.

I’ve done some underwear modeling for high end male lingerie designers like Candyman and it’s crazy how big the industry is getting and how fast it’s growing.

Male lingerie is becoming huge and Designers like Candyman, Doreanse, Male Basics and Pikante have all become huge over the past few years. Especially since men are starting to understand that woman don’t fantasize about a guy wearing old Walmart boxer shorts with a hole in them or that women definitely check the asses of guys in well tailored suits and that underwear lines don’t look good on anyone.

No because men and women are biologically different and heterosexuality is the norm. This is just hard wired biology. Just like men will reject overly plus sized magazine covers. You cannot force them to like something, and when they disagree, you shame and outcast them.

Anything outside of that is free to exist. It always has existed. It’s just that nowadays it is getting more media attention.

If you think men are going to suddenly be interested in wearing dresses and nail polish because of pride month, you’re opinion is a minority in an echo chamber.

There’s also an entire Middle East civilisation and culture that you’re ignoring, one that is very lucrative if you were to be financially motivated, that will never be on board with this westernised agenda.

I'm sorry, OP, but your whole premise is built on faulty thinking. Gendered differences aren't all just culturally influenced or enforced. Take a look at the Scandinavian countries, which have the most gender neutrality of any cultures. Boys still gravitate towards trucks and suits, girls still gravitate towards babies, dresses, and the like.

As to some specifics of your post...

Show me a single man with gynocomastia who's healthy. Like, literally a single one. I don't mean healthy as in "not on death's door." I mean objectively in good-to-great health physically, to the point where a doctor has virtually zero obvious lifestyle improvements to recommend.

Man-bras aren't unpopular because of gender norms. They're unpopular for the same reasons smoking sections in restaurants are unpopular. It's an attempt at normalizing an unhealthy lifestyle.

I also think guys can wear also makeup( including lipstick), nail polish and all kinds of jewelry women use after all if women can why can't men? It is unfair.

And there are guys who agree with you, all the way to putting into practice in their own lives. If they want to, whatever. Who cares?

If you're saying cosmetics companies should market directly to men, I'll just say I'm sure some already are. I would question how large the market is though.

Everybody should read Frans De Waals book, “Different: Gender Through the Eyes of a Primatologist”.

If you do, you’ll see that some (but not all) gender preferences are intrinsic to biological sex differences, and are observed in other species as well (like chimpanzees and Bonobos).

For example, while there’s clear evidence that blue/pink for boys/girls is purely a cultural artifact, there’s also clear evidence boys preferences for trucks and girls preferences for dolls is innate.

So no amount of woke gender equality ideology will erase innate sexual differences behavior. Men and women are different.

I experimented a bit with makeup during Covid and I found stuff you put around your eyes to cover up dark spots and skin care to be ok. It does not look very “done”. I did get some allergic reactions from some products though.

The biggest things have already happened which are hair transplants and testosterone and ED meds for older men.

I fucking hope not, women spend a shit ton of money on products that make them marginally more attractive. If a guy wants to look good he needs to use whitening strips, work out, get a good shampoo and conditioner and add in maybe one lotion for the face, and use champ stick in the winter. Also the basic things like deodorant, college if going out, and having proper dental work done.

Nail polish and skincare products are slowly making this step I think, also sorry, but I have to point out that I think 'making homophpbia illegal' is a very bad idea. It should be socially ostracized, for sure, but not legally charged, because as with all of these things (insulting religion, hate speech etc.) it's subjective, can't be measured, and there's no objective way to judge it, meaning the result would be unfair trials, and people being able to fuck over other people's lives by saying they were hurt by something that person said.

TL;DR: Making an opinion illegal is a dumb idea, even if said opinion is wrong (I'm not saying about threats, suggesting hurting others should of course be illegal)

Gender roles have existed for thousands of years for a reason: the two genders are not the same. You can't just market that away. For example, almost all plumbers are men because women don't like that job. How would nail polish and jewelry and makeup work for a plumber?
