This is a good counterargument against ''feminism is not the problem it's just the newest symptom of misandry which existed pretty much all the time'' yes misandry predates feminism however feminism did amplify it a lot, they've turned sterotypes and biases and against males into a systematic demonization campaign while using their political influence to further the discrimination against them.

The other day I was arguing about the suffering of men during war time, and mutiple people told me they don't care about the suffering of men, because men start wars and they deserve it anyway.

Just look at comments on facebook- women feel absolutely entitled to "tear men down" making comments that would be absolutely unacceptable if they were made about women/blacks/whatever.

This culture of anti-men sentiments absolutely desensitize people against men. Even women who supposed to have contact with men (husbands, sons, etc.) - they will compartmentalize between the ones they know, and "the rest".

This dovetails rather closely with a poll from a year ago finding that young progressive men had a much lower opinion of feminism than older conservative men. Seeing results like this just confirms why.

Crazy. People, nowadays, I thought had more empathy for male victims of sexual abuse. Turns out, it's men who have more empathy for other men. Women have even less empathy. Even though I've constantly heard from feminists saying it's mostly men who downplay male victims of abuse.

When it comes to male victims of sexual abuse, I honestly thought women, nowadays, would have more empathy, not less.

Considering empathy by men has improved and empathy by women has worsened, it could also be due to men vs women's political polarization.

Does the paper also explore the reasons behind that ?

At this point, I don't have any choice but to start doing drugs because every time I've relied on someone for emotional support, they've failed me. Drugs can't fail you because they're substances that lack consciousness. I'd rather be drugged up than miserable.
