Hey guys, you regular contributors will mean more to me than you'll ever know, I appreciate all of yall. I'll make this short but had somewhat of an epiphany after today. I've been hanging out with a girl for the past several months who happens to waitress. Pretty much casual nothing serious but started feeling somewhat exclusive. Went and had an early dinner there this evening, a guy with a sleeve tattoo walks in sits at a table and in her eyes I was pretty much non-existent. Now don't get me wrong I'll NEVER consider a serious long term relationship, but I hear you guys talk about monkey-branching often and there it was right in front of my eyes. My ex tried to claim I was emotionally abusive as she was involved with another man. Brushed it off to maybe we just weren't clicking as well as we got older. I earn a good living, have been told I'm a halfway decent looming dude, and in walks a guy who looks like he just posted his latest tik tok video, sleeve tattoo, high fade hair cut, and almost as beta as one could imagine. I left without a word but make no mistake gentlemen if your wife, girl, significant other etc. sees someone they deem more aesthetically pleasing, your times over.
