It is fashionable for women to say about themselves "I am a 10", even when they are below average. Then they say they only "want a man at my own level". That is, they want men who are actual 10s. With this deluded sense of entitlement, a man being a 10 is suddenly "the bare minimum". Any man less than a 10 "isn't even deliverying the bare minimum".

The way I think about all this is based on something Warren Buffett said: "Price is what you pay; value is what you get".

So, these deluded women are very high price (they demand a lot) but are actually very low value (they deliver very little in return). So, they are not worth it.

That's because the movement is incredibly manipulative. They tend to only focus on what they value. That's what they deem to find reasonable and important. Whether men deem other things important seem to go straight over their head, because that would mean that a group of woman would be discriminated over their qualities. Their view is essentially that every woman is enough, regardless of what she does. That's why there is never a discussion about what the bare-minimum is for women. One of the goals of feminism is trying to give women who even, might not even scratch the surface of what men really want, the best quality of men. Essentially just wanting a bunch of working mules within our system without reciprocating in any form that takes hard work.

They despise men. They hate them completely. Instead of taking accountability for their feelings and insecurities want every other women in the group to agree with them so they can live in their hate bubble.

When a video comes up that shows men in a good light (by the standards of women) they must viciously tear it down. They are desperate to take control of the narrative and keep it in line with their selfish need to justify and rationalize their hateful feelings. So, they try to establish a narrative that men shouldn't be lauded for just doing the 'bare minimum' even though they have no context at all to make that assertion.

Feminists don’t want equality! They want supremacy (selective equality)! They want equality in board rooms, government jobs but not in coal mines, the military, garbage collection, construction or any of the most dangerous jobs men do in society. Best not to take them seriously when they display that attitude. Men do need to contribute more generally in the household but to women that appreciate them and help raise their kids (not another man’s kids).

People forget that 'bare minimum' is on a spectrum. The objective bare minimum is just being present aka doing nothing - it's also a subjective thing. One person's minimum is another's maximum.

Well yeah doing basic chores and maintaining your home IS the bare minimum. Along with just treating your partner right. Are we at a point where y’all feel sad because women won’t applaud guys who do the things they’re already supposed to do? It would be more reasonable if you put other examples of guys going out of their way and the woman still being ungrateful but stuff like treating your spouse right, doing chores around the house, and parenting your kids IS the bare minimum because EVERYONE should be doing that.

Washing dishes and cleaning the house are basic adult things. They’re your dishes too. It’s your house too.

Thinking that washing dishes is above the minimum implies you don’t consider it a shared chore. You consider it a woman’s chore so you’re doing her a favour by washing the dishes you ate off.

Anything you would have to do for yourself if you lived alone - cooking, cleaning, laundry etc., is the bare minimum. You should have already been doing those things on a regular basis for yourself. Regardless of gender
