I get flirted with by older women and girls around my age reject me lol maybe the older girls want need validation from younger men because we automatically look better (there’s exceptions) just for the fact of being younger, since the guys around their age are mostly bald, fat and out of sexual stamina.. and the younger girls want looks, and status?? Bro it’s not going to happen. It’s not a confidence thing. It’s very rare for truly gorgeous girls to approach first. It’s very risky to their egos and status. Even their safety. There are exceptions but it’s definitely not significant enough to warrant any man to sit and wait to be approached unless you’re already established as high social status, are very good looking, or visibly wealthy. Even then, it’s rare. And you won’t be receiving compliments. More like subtle, unconscious indicators that they’re interested like proximity, hair playing, subtle arm contact, etc.

It’s just something women don’t do. If you the talk to girls, they will tell you they see handsome men all the time, but they’re disappointed when he doesn’t approach. And they say “oh well, maybe someone will approach me next time.”

Girls want you to approach. They want to check for chinks in your armor. They want the man to prove his confidence, his charisma, his self-control.

Older woman don’t want to f**k you unless she’s obviously a cougar. But if she looks like a grandma or someone’s mom, they’re just complimenting you because they’re nice people. Order women in that age group have far lower standards than women in our age range (I’m 19).

They also are more inclined to be motherly and they’re telling you that you look nice in a way your mom might tell you that versus a woman who actually wants to be romantically or sexually involved with you would tell you that.

In my experience, most of the older ones are more confident, some are still shy and they become aloof when near me and do some other body-language indicators of interest. Looks aren't the number 1 factor in choosing guys for them most times.

Now for the younger ones like under 23/24 y/o they are more picky and most times looks come first for them. At that age they're much less confident and still learning and they're more afraid of rejection and looking desperate. They might also be attracted to you(check their body-language) and the older women just do what the younger ones are afraid to do.

I imagine it's either because she doesn't think you'll assume she is hitting on you because of the age difference, or, she is hitting on you and she feels like she needs to be more direct if she wants to have a chance with you.

I work as a bouncer and experience the exact same thing. Our club has a top level that is a club for older people or people who enjoy a quieter live music style and downstairs is full on dance club where mostly young people go. Upstairs i am complimented endlessly by older women and downstairs its nothing but awkward stares. Older women are not shy at all, but it also might just be that you are more attractive to older women too.
