That's a nice and positive responsive. But: it still sounds too needy.

Her "I don't know if I can" is sign of disinterest, and any response from you that shows more interest for her than she has for you, is gonna make that worse.

What people shouldn't forget, is that "silence" is an important response to take in consideration. You don't always have to say something.

In this case, you best have said nothing, and meanwhile think about ways to spark her interest again in other ways.

Move on. Seriously. This is a numbers game. Every time you talk to her is a time you could be talking to a different woman who may be interested in you. Why waste time on a girl who has essentially told you that she ISN'T interested in so many words? Even if you could convince her, it will probably take more effort than finding a girl who is more open to you.

The two biggest lies that movies/television/other women (including mom) have told men are:

The myth of "the one girl" that you should focus all of your efforts on.

Keep chatting and see if she responds the same way she used to, go like this for a few weeks and set another day with her. If she still says no then slowly pull away your attention from her. The way you asked her out was correct and she answered no in a way that she might be busy. Has she set another day?

First mistake was asking her through text, unless you have already talked alot in person and have had chemistry, asking online is always usually not ideal. But she seems disinterested anyway, your girl is still looking for you !

Maybe she's just busy. Ask her what day she is free in the week. Chance is she would tell you the day and you can have a date with her. But if she says no, continue with your life, like studying, working, having fun, whatever. Or you can find another girl to flirt with. Let time pass, then about 1-2 weeks later, if you still like her, ask her out again, if this time you still fail, time to forget her.

Tbh it depends on how long you guys been talking. I wouldn’t meet with someone I just met. We would have to have been talking for a while. Could be a week or even a month but enough so that I know the meet up won’t be awkward. It may not be that she doesn’t like you but that she’s still not too comfortable with you. You can try continuing to text her or even just ask her this straight up instead of possibly wasting your time. Be like “I think you’re stunning and nice to talk to and if you’ll allow me, I’d like to get to know you better” or something along those lines. Always ask face to face. Never over social media or text. Maybe if you were calling her, but overall it's better to force her to reject you to your face than over a message online. It'll take some getting used to the sting, but eventually it gets easier and easier the more you do it.

Sounds like she thinks you’re too much of a stranger. Attraction for females develops through multiple positive interactions.

If you can, try to ascertain that is is, in fact, single.

Then, try to engage her in conversation. Put your focus on understanding her as a person. Analyze her. Ask her questions about what she thinks/believes. Don’t share too much about yourself unless she asks you questions - then answer as though you seriously considered them.

When you guys are talking on a daily basis, ask her to zoom you. Listen to her tone of voice and watch her body language. Does she smile a lot? Does she play with her hair? Are her eyes wider than normal, and is her voice excited?

If so, she is now ready for you to ask her out. Ask her to do something casual and fun with you, like get ice cream and walk around downtown. Don’t make it a serious date.

My general rule of thumb is: Everyone is busy sometimes. They can't always move their plans to hang out with you. The difference is whether or not they suggest an alternate time/day. E.g. "nah I cant" - she's not into you VS. "nah I can't, but how about next week?" - she's into you.
