I've noticed that unattractive people share a lot of behavioral and physical similarities, which makes me suspect that brain development and facial development go hand in hand. In simpler terms, and as a general rule, to a less-than-ideal brain corresponds a less-than-ideal facial appearance.

Some people are just unlovable and undatable through no fault of their own. They are unattractive. We need to stop lying and saying that everybody is lovable because that is not true. We have the illusion of free will, but our very thoughts are a byproduct of our neurobiology. You can only improve up to a certain point, and if you are unlovable, you're better off becoming acutely self-aware and finding coping mechanisms. The alternative is much worse; if you're in denial over your unattractiveness, you leave yourself exposed to manipulation.

Certain people are naturally attractive without trying. Certain people have talents and insurmountable weaknesses. We have way less control over our attractiveness than we are willing to admit. I became an expert in my field without even realizing I was becoming an expert. And I suck at other disciplines no matter how hard I try.

Unattractive people are unattractive, so it becomes increasingly harder for them to mate and reproduce.
