I have no idea how to process this and I’m really looking for some advice.

My wife and I are pretty set on divorce but here’s what strange about it.. neither of us have really done anything wrong. It’s not that there’s no love left, I’m deeply in love with her, we have been married for 3 years, I’m 31 and she is 28, met in highschool and been together ever since..

She started going to therapy two years ago to “heal” and do “do the work” of a troubled childhood, and she feels like she is making progress and learning about herself but her needs have changed and I’m not the man who knows how to give her what she needs anymore..

We’ve done couples therapy, and I’ve done individual therapy by myself and honestly I’m convinced therapy is something that either works for someone or it doesn’t, I don’t see any point in it and it hasn’t really helped me, she feels the opposite.

She said this morning that she didn’t marry me hoping I would change, and I responded with “then why does it feel like that’s all I can do to make you happy” She said I’m not the man that can give her what she needs and that if we never knew eachother and met today we wouldn’t date eachother.. I don’t feel that is true.. it feels like she is trying to use her therapy as a moral high ground and that since she’s in it and sees benefit then it must be good for me to? Idk if any of this making sense but I don’t think divorce is avoidable.

Has anybody been thru this before?
