For most men, women's attraction as a contributing factor to their lives is a rounding error at 20, 30, 40, or 50. Trying to put a rounding error on a timeline will give you a rounding error on a timeline. You can as well tune an old car's radio to a vacant frequency and try to hear an alien message there. Noise has no meaning.

Women’s most valuable contribution to the species is their fertility, men’s is our utility. Both peak at different ages.

Physically? No. Younger people are more physically attractive on average. Noone peaks in their 30s.

Generally? Well it depends on wealth, status and willingness to leverage those to date younger hotter, but less financially well off, people. Men generally are far more willing to do that.

So yeah, if dating hot women you actually want is the end goal, some men can potentially peak later in life. Some 5'10 average looking guy at 23 with barely any money isn't going to get hot young women generally. If the same guy makes it big at 35, he has way better chances getting a hot 23 year old compared to his 23 year old self, even if he is technically less physically attractive than he was at 23.

Men generally pair up with the most beautiful woman they can get at the point when they paired up. Mid guy with little money? He gets a mid girl around his age. Mid guy with a lot of money? He usually gets a younger hotter woman.

Of course men and women exist on different timelines, Because men and women place different priorities on what they generally look for in partners.

Generally men value women who are pretty and we don't really care about other things like income and social status. Women tend to be prettier when they're younger.

Generally women care about a man's ability to earn and provide and his status. Men tend to come into those things in their 30s and on.

It really depends what you classify as "peaking"

A young woman can leverage her beauty, leaving young men in the dust, but then so could some young gay men

In terms of career success, it's equal

In terms of physical attractiveness, both sexes decline from their 20s, with men seemingly become unattractive slower than women (not exactly peaking tho, just declining less)

Biologically women have their peak fertility window in their teenage years, while men's contribution diminishes at a slower rate, but again, it is not "peaking" per say, just slower decline

So to me the whole thing is very subjective and personal.

At 40, I personally think that overall I would make a much better partner to someone than a 20 year old me, but it all depends on what kind of partner the woman wants. At the moment I am dating a 20 year old girl, but actually pining for a 33 year old that I get along much better with.
