Obviously, it's still a mystery to me why people are so interested in dating, I don't see the reasons, but they describe it as a "need" for something.

Perhaps it's not just because of my sexuality, but because of the way young people like me socialize and live nowadays, we don't even see the point in having a partner.

In my theory, adults who were more educated to think that they must follow a set of life rules, to find a partner, and have children. Because is something almost cultural.

Having a partner means having responsibilities towards other people, having to put up with someone and accept them and the implications. And younger people don't usually want that, and being single is generally more accepted than it used to be, but for some is still some kind of sign of being a loser.
