He was riding with me on a rather long commute to a friend's house. We were traveling in silence and then suddenly he starts rubbing his fists together saying something along the lines of "Man, it's been TOO long since I have been in a fight." I just kind of looked at him and was like "...um, like MMA or boxing or something?" He says "Nah, I just mean a fight...street fight, hood shit. I mean, I don't want to start shit with someone. But I just kinda WISH someone would fuck with me. I'm itching for it." I just kinda glared at him with a look of utter disgust. "...What?" he says sounding confused, like I was supposed to be impressed by that or something. "So you want to risk going to jail for assault/battery because you are itching for a fight? Wow, how barbaric, trashy and stupid. May I suggest a punching bag if you really need to let out aggression or something?" He just kind of sat in silence, like he failed to impress me...which was correct, he absolutely did. I brought him home and messaged him that I wasn't interested and never spoke to him again. Well, I did, only because he harassed me for several MONTHS after begging for me back. But yeah, I never voluntarily spoke to him again.

My current boyfriend, I don't believe has ever been in a fight and has no interest in it. He thinks it's trashy and would only fight someone if they literally attacked him. That is a million times more attractive to me than: I AM BROOT MAN. I MUST PUNCH TO PROVE STRONG!

Also, just wanted to add, I bet you the only people who will agree with OP are men and they will use their RP pseudo science as their back up while the actual real women will probably respond similar to me. When you think about the brutality and indifference of nature, you have to discard all thoughts of righteousness and ethics. A man dominated another man, i.e. he had absolute control whether that man lives or not, the ultimate power and ultimate truth in those types of situations. This is why intelligence isnt a sexy trait, you think intelligence alone will stop the better guy from killing you? You think superior knowledge of debate and greek philosophy will stop him from ending your existence?

Instinct alone makes a woman attracted to that level of dominance and power over another person. It is the logical and rational approach to nature. There is nothing wrong with this tendency in and of itself. I absolutely believe it could happen even if the story was made up, because I have seen something similar myself. But no woman will admit this. We are led to believe by the feminist culture that women are warm, kind, nurturing and righteous. But they're just as capable of being cold, vile, manipulative and self serving as men are aggressive, violent and predatory under right circumstances. They're just better at hiding it. A woman who does or says wrong thing will not survive ostracization in ancient times with no police or social safety net. Women are conditioned to be very sensitive to people's perception of what they say. The whole politically correct bullshit was created for female consumption, in my opinion. So take what a woman has to say with a grain of salt and watch their actions.

that story is clearly fiction, but this kind of thing does happen. if a woman watches her man get his ass kicked, she'll never feel the same way about him again. and it makes perfect sense. one of the main things that attracts women to men is feeling safe and protected from other men. if the guy can't take care of himself when things get violent, then she can't really rely on him to take care of her (or any potential offspring).
