I don't see it for Cressida. As a woman I would have swiped left on her and Super Liked Holly. Also as a woman Jay would have gotten a quick swipe right!

But as I'm always looking for comfort / security traits, Stephen, would have gotten an actual Super Like because he's hot and has a decent job.

Jay is a model and I don't trust that they even have homes to live in.

Yes! The number of girls is low compared to the number of guys they featured. Hard to pull anything from that.

To me, the amount of first dates seems sort of low. While I have never met anyone off of tinder, I have used other apps and online sites. Maybe I am just the type who would rather meet someone over coffee and see if there is a possibility rather than just text endlessly.

I am surprised by:

a) the low no. of matches b) the fact that the guys all all look completely ''normal'' except for that super-hawt 30-something dude and Stefan. I think Stephen is a super-cute, too. Looks like a ''boyfriend'' but not extraordinarily good looking.

c) the low no. of dates.

I wouldn't swipe right on any of those three women. They don't look my type at all, as I tend to favor cute over hot. Jade is the most attractive in my opinion, though.

I noticed how Jade doesn't like compliments, when in my experience most women do. I think it likely shows that very high SMV women don't need compliments because they already know they're hot and that you're going to have to do more than that to get their interest.

It doesn't really tell us much other than the fact that attractive people use dating sites as an ego boost rather than an attempt to meet people (compare number of matches to number of first dates.)

Out of the guys the only two I find super hot are Ryan and Rich, though if I were on tinder and single I'd probably 'swipe right' on all of them on the basis that provided someone's over a certain attractiveness threshold and doesn't have any glaring red flags I'm generally game to giving them a chance, especially since photos are such an inaccurate measure of attractiveness.

who i can understand being cute to other people:

rodney (if the tattoo is fake, then he's in the first category)
loui (i ignored most profiles and just looked at pictures, but saw that this guy is vegan - i like eating meat)
jay (maybe a different picture would give a different impression, but he just seems really intense and "pretty", to a higher degree than i'd prefer)

who i don't really think is that cute:

daniel (that hair)
tom (that hair)

overall, none of them really made me say wow (though stephen and ryan had pictures that made them seem like really fun guys). then again... that's why tinder wouldn't be for me even if i was single.

Loui the entrepreneur looks like his business venture is in drugs. This guy? Really? As an accountant who had dealt with my fair share of entrepreneurs and business owners, I would not take this guy on as a client.

Cressida looks like she is the kind of person who is loud for the sake of being loud. Jade is hot, but looks like she is too career oriented. Holly is just weird. It says "If you want to impress Holly, don't bother using selfies as your Tinder picture because she believe it makes you look very 'self-obsessed", but her picture looks like it was a selfie. Hypocrisy is not a quality I look for in women.

I'd have to see more pictures of the girls. Number 1 looks like she might be very cute, number 2 looks kind of vulgar and number 3 looks like she wears way too much makeup.

They're all attractive but not "Top of tinder" attractive. I see more attractive women on tinder every day.

I'm surprised the men have dated so few women on tinder, this is contrary to the RP hypothesis.

This pretty much proves the 80/20 rule. Though not those exact numbers. The hottest guys are in even more demand than the hottest women presumably because women are more likely to think they have higher smv than they really do.
