I don't see how in this age women are being "kept in a state of submission". As far as we know, there are more women in college and more women entering the work force than ever.

All of the things you listed are OPINIONS, not mandated laws. Many men would PREFER their wives stay at home, but likewise, many men do NOT require it so. Men PREFER women who are sweet and soft, and in general more feminine.

Your statement about mini skirts is a complete exaggeration of the situation. No one is saying women deserve to get groped, but it is much likelier for a woman wearing a skirt to be targeted, versus a woman who is covered. This is common sense. Much in the same way a man wearing expensive clothing is more likely to be targeted than a regular looking man. Or a black man to be singled out by police officers compared to a white man.

You've listed mostly opinions, but none of which support your claim that it serves to keep women in a state of submission.

What societal norms are exactly limiting women's influence nowadays?

I am a woman and I don't feel men or society are limiting me in ANYTHING. I am a successful professional, I have some stupid coworkers who treat me like shit, not because of sexism, but because they lack decency. I have female coworkers who treat me terribly as well, proving that it's not a SEXIST issue. (By the way, the worst sexist people I have ever met were WOMEN, not men)

Men never said women should stay home with the kids. The fact that women used to stay at home all the time is because of the laws that existed 50 years ago and also because there weren't laboral laws for the safety and health of their employees, rendering industrial work dangerous for many women. TIMES HAVE CHANGED. I honestly don't know a single man who thinks a woman should stay at home with kids 24/7. In fact, I think most men nowadays would look suspiciously at a woman who wants to stay at home all day long while the husband works all day long to bring home some money.

Men don't think women shouldn't be wearing mini skirts because they would be encouraging men to rape them. NO. Men themselves know very well any decent and normal man has self control. Men just find it very vulgar that some women walk half naked out there. And not all men think the same way. Some men really like scantily clad women and want their wives to wear short dresses when they go out with them.

Men never created these differences. IT IS A SCIENTIFICAL FACT that women are indeed more emotional than men, and that their mindset and thought processes are different. Problem is, the leftist and political correct speech wants to deny the inherent biological differences between both sexes so that they can support crazy gender theories.

No one wants their own freedoms to be curtailed, but we seem to have no problem imposing that on other people because "they'd be happier that way, they just don't know it yet."

"Men and women are different" is a trope that is trotted out but doesn't really explain much. Unless you can identify what those differences are, support that they exist, and explain why they matter to the extent that they corroborate whatever it is you're asking for, it is a meaningless statement.

Historically, I can see this being no different. Keep women in women spheres and men in men spheres. That being said, I don't know that it was always in a "state of submission." Women staying at home with the kids, for example, is something I'm sure plenty of women wanted to do. I don't see how being a SAHM is automatically a "state of submission."

Well you see, people from the red pill, speak in general terms, and those general terms are usually true. I mean, have you ever looked at history? Because most women found out that, hey, being at home raising kids and making food and running a house beat the shit out of going to work, holding down a job, having the sole responsibility of breadwinning, and risking getting killed or having toes, fingers, feet, hands, arms or legs torn off.

If a woman wanted to work, she did. Women worked and earned money and always have throughout all of human existence. Women who wanted careers in the professions got them, if they wanted them. Women who wanted to have sex outside marriage did so (1920s flappers? The 17th/18th century European aristocrats? Come on -- women who wanted sex can get it, and always have been able to, married or single, at any time in human history.). Women who wanted to marry and have kids did so. Your ideas that women could never ever work, never ever have their own money, could never ever have sex, couldn't orgasm, and lived their lives as slaves before 1970, are absurd and not based in any facts whatsoever.

Except that you are wrong. Don't forget, it is men who helped women overcome the disadvantages that they faced. I seriously doubt that the majority of men throughout history hated their mothers, wives and sisters so much that they wanted to keep them down in the dirt.

The fact of the matter is, women are naturally disadvantaged. If not for humanity's desire for safety and security, and men's actions throughout history, women would still be disadvantaged today. We live in a very dangerous world, one where women could not have survived in alone. Since historically, men gave up their lives to provide women with safety, they naturally were given more rights. It's like, if you pay 58% of the cost of a car, and your friend pays the other 42%, would you not expect to have access to the car more? It's logic.

Now that humanity has succeeded in created a safe world, largely due to men's efforts, women are no longer disadvantaged in that regard. The men who sacrificed to create this world are dead, and they died with the rights they deserved. Most men alive today did not need to sacrifice their lives, therefore, everyone is now on a level playing field, which means that everyone now deserves equal rights.

The fact is, men and women are different. That difference doesn't mean that women shouldn't vote or shouldn't have careers, it means that women are forced to make choices to specific issues that are exclusive to women. Similarly, men are also forced to make choices to specific issues that are exclusive to men. The difference doesn't mean inferiority. The way women or men respond to their obligation to make those choices is what defines women or men as "equals" or as "inferior".

Let me elaborate with an example. Women should have the option of having a career, there is no doubt in my mind. However, should they be guaranteed 2 months paid maternity leave and be given their jobs back afterwards with a raise? I've argued this before, but I'll argue it again. I believe the answer is "no". She made a choice to become a mother, and because she is a woman, nature dictates that she needs time off from, well, life, to focus on her unborn child. That personal choice has consequences. Now, women have refused to accept those consequences. Instead, they cried and bitched and forced men to pay for their choice to have a baby. So a woman's inability to accept the consequences of her decisions and her desire to shift those consequences to someone else despite the fact that those consequences would have never taken place if she didn't make a choice which primarily benefits her indicates that she is inferior to someone who accepts the consequences of their actions.

There are countless examples of how women (yes, in general) refuse to accept the cost of the choices they make. How they force men to pay for those costs. THAT is what makes women inferior. It is a reputation that women have created for themselves, not an insult created by men.

If you and your husband make 60k a year each, yet you pay the mortgage, the bills, for food, clothing, vacations and all of life's cost while he goes to the casino and gambles it all away, then you are superior to your husband. Why, because of the choices that you make, and because of the responsibilities that you accept. If you and your husband both equally spend on life's costs, then you are equal.
