I was pretty blue and thought covert contracts would work out. I had some pretty good RP teachers, mom, ex-wife, npd girlfriends, etc. that taught me some good lessons. I wouldn't trade those lessons for the world as it made me a better man, but damn that was a painful journey.

No. I don't want it to be true, but it is. I don't want to believe there is no Santa Claus, I don't want to believe there is no god, and I want to believe everyone can be good. But I'm a very evidence based person. My whole life I've been told to just "be myself" and "wait for the right girl", yet every girl I've ever had a crush on was dating an alpha male. Maybe he was a drug dealer, maybe a football player, maybe he was an asshole or maybe he was pretty chill. It didn't matter, time after time I've seen evidence of the kind of guys women really want. And when I questioned people they just told me "don't worry, once they get more "mature" they'll be all over you". But I knew even then, "money" and "maturity" don't make pussies wet, sexy dangerous guys do. I'm not good enough for them now, but once we're both 30 and she can't get with the sexy bad boys anymore she'll come crawling to me. Guys like me are the last option, the second choice. The girls that won't look twice at me while we're young are going to come crawling for my stability when they can't get who they really want anymore. Of course I don't fucking want this to be true, but I've yet to see any proof that it isn't. If I wanted a woman that only wanted me for my money I would fuck a prostitute. If neither of them want me anyway I may as well fuck the one that's honest.

I want to believe (in the blue pill). Mainly because I hate how accurately TRP describes reality. The fact that it works makes one really struggle to see half of humanity as moral and respectable people. But I want to believe.

I don't think any of us wanted the red pill to be true. But it usually takes us getting hurt brutally by women and learned the hard way that the red pill is true to a tee. There is just too much evidence to prove otherwise.

I mean watch any woman react to a MGTOW, redpill, or hypergamy topic on youtube and you'll see them confirm it wether they say so or not.

I remember a youtube video where a guy told a woman "As the man, if you fall on hard times financially or mentally, as the provider, I'll support you through it. As the woman, you'll see me as weak and leave" and she had NOTHING to say or deny the claim.

TRP is real and the fact that women on this purple pill thread try to deny any claims or somehow always blame it on the man proves otherwise.

My first love I treated exactly as society, women, and myself thought were right. Loved, cared for, gave her validation on why I loved her, helped her through hard times, stayed loyal, played no games...she betrayed me horribly. Cheated, monkey branched me, abused, gaslighted me, told me to grow a pair, and instantly went around town banging dudes left and right.

And then I found MGTOW, Redpill, all that. Haven't been the same since. The dating game is dead. Women have literally turned it into a game of Whoever cares the less, wins. And thats beyond stupid and fucked up.

I mean it's gotten to the point where when a relationship fails (Mostly because of the woman), they never even own up to what they did wrong. It's always the man's fault in some way.

Even when a woman cheats, SOMEHOW it was the man's fault. Like "He wasn't spending enough time with her" so she that's why she had to get her cheeks clapped from Tyrone...like what?

My ex told me I stopped putting in effort in our last relationship despite me paying all the bills, not controlling her, cooking, cleaning, working long hours, staying loyal, did special things for her, ETC...

It's gotten to the point where i don't even think I can love women anymore.

And, truth be told, I don't even disagree with a lot of the stuff TRP says about women. What I disagree with is when some of them say most men are any better. They're not.

The older and more traditional RP views understood this. Male sexual nature is predatory, exploitative, and aggressive at its most primal. Just as every woman is Schrodinger's spermjacker or DivorceRaper, so every man is Schrodinger's rapist or violent abuser. If man can rise above that to be monogamous and selfless, it's not too hard to suggest that it's within women to be the same. Our sexualities are analogous, not completely alien to each other.

But the current narrative is that women are succubi preying on men. They can't even come to a consensus on if it's just recently become that way or always been that way. Whether women are maniacally crafty or functional idiots. Either way, it's inherrently a shallow and easily dismissed veiw by any bur the most militant adherents because it's completely inconsistent within itself on most matters.

The only way to rationalize a lot of these new extreme views is to present it as women actually being either base and animalistic, morally evil, or some combination of the two. Which is, IMO, a legitimately dangerous school of thought that should actively be crushed lest we breed more Elliot Rodgers or Minassians.

I am not really going to infer on why Red Pill users believe The Red Pill to be true. But what I can see is how violently and dogmatic the defence of it can be, some of the users do want it to be true. A lot of it also seems really convenient, like a religion, and we should be careful in believing things because they are comforting or convenient.

Maybe it's not that "they lied to you." Maybe it's just that the so-called blue pill way doesn't work for you. There are plenty of men for who blue pill does work. Just like there's more than one way to get rich, there's more than one way to reach your sexual and relationship goals. The reality is if you're challenged in a lot of areas, you're going to have a hard time making conventional advice work for you. this is hardly controversial or worthy of shrieking about how unjust the world is.

It doesn't make women bad. The reailty as woman is if you're not attractive you're going to need to have other things going for you to make up the difference. This is a pretty basic reality of all apsects of life and that so many men here struggle so hard with this suggests that among their problems are a sense of entitlement and/or lack of willingness to take action to improve their circumstances.

And I know you'll take this as an insult and snap back at me -- even though in your most recent comment you wrote: "The red pill approach puts the responsibility on the man and requires of him to change."

It depends on the guy, imo.

A good number of guys don't hate women, but were heavily invested in the blue pill reality. They knew that attractive women responded to bad boys and ill treatment, but they assumed it was just low value women, or just a phase. The Red Pill seems to explain all this female anti social behavior.

But they are going through a sort of confirmation bias. There are definitely women in their lives the act like this. Maybe the majority.

But every woman that doesn't act like this, that they witness being kind/selfless, they ignore, or say she's hiding it.

It basically uncovers his everyday misogyny. The everyday misogyny is not good by any means. Let's be clear about that.

Then you have a number of guys who really have an axe to grind with women. Something else is going on there, a deep hatred.

In my view, all the Red Pill says is that no matter where the guy thinks he is in the relationship, she is prone to change it.

The Red Pill response is to become this super alpha and to learn tactics to control women.

As effective as it is to get your notch count up, "score" with "higher quality" women - the Red Pill armor becomes a prison.

There is a thread right now, where some young guy gets caught by his "plate" crying.

She may very well punish him for appearing weak by showing emotion. Plenty of guys can attest to how often that happens.

The problem is that he NEEDS to keep a girl like this.

Despite all the Red Pill rhetoric, he still deeply believes that romantic partners are scarce. This ideology has trapped him.

If the chick acts up, steps on one of his boundaries, how strong is he in correcting her?

He's still afraid of the consequences of enforcing his own rules. What if she leaves?

So you got these blue pill guys, learning to be real macho men, but then they become dependent on the girl's continued presence and favorable attention.

Without either of them realizing it, he becomes her bitch.

If he was blue pill, he'd accept that reality. Since he's red pill, he's going through a crisis.

He wants the Red Pill to not actually be true, if that will save his source of affection and validation.

But will he admit it to himself?
Can he actually be this independent guy that he seed himself as?

I was blue-pilled throughout my 20s. This was before RP was even a thing, although we had suspicions

I was probably a solid 7 (6'1 185lbs, good features. Brother was a solid 9 or 10, so inherited some of that), and from a good family. Had a lot of education and was cultured. But I was a bit shy with women. So my N count ended up at 7, even though it probably could have been higher. I had mostly LTRs

I still believed in romance, sentimentalism, and gave women the benefit of the doubt. Despite that, I only know of one or two GFs that cheated on me. The other relationships were pretty good for the most part.

Why was my experience good? The main reason is that I was around that 20% of guys who women notice and value. My friends who were not as good looking, had less resources and education, etc. had very bad experiences. Low quality women, lots of infidelity, psychological abuse, manipulation, etc. One got divorce raped.

I was insulted from the bad behavior of women for the most part. And I really did want the BP to be reality.

I don't believe TRP to its full extent (ex. AWALT). You cannot possibly state that these behaviours and traits apply to literally 100% of women, that's insane, and also many red pillers act as if every woman is a sociopath. TRP simply outlines a trend in the West, given female nature and the sexual revolution of the 60s.

But not, why would I want it to be true. I don't think any man likes to be desired for only what he can essentially provide. The reason red pillers are so vocal, is that they feel like they have been lied to by society and also seeing the special catering with nonexistent women's issues receive over existent men's issues, is what infuriates them.

I was happier before, wilful ignorance is more comforting than the painful truth.

How hard it is too stay attractive to a dude? How about the fact men are the gender of the 10 year younger replacement family. How about the fact men cheat more and as they age this likely hood almost doubled.

The truth isn't that TRP is real, it's that bad people do bad shit to others regardless of gender.

You want it to be true to absolve yourself of poor mate choices and not worry that your side could be the problem.

You want it to be true because you want to believe your the more mortal sex so any wrongdoing is simply playing even and not being the problem you so despise.

I believe that Red Pill thinks that it’s true because they see improvement, but I don’t think that RP is a system that will help men potentially attract all women. Except for hypergamy, NAWALT, and I believe that RP fosters traits in men that will only attract a small subset of women.

So maybe I was always redpilled, I’m not exactly sure, but I always knew that people in general were going to betray others and mistreat others. My approach to women has always been more of a “ whatever you’ve done with other people doesn’t matter, just don’t cheat on me “ type of deal. TRP is 10% truth, %90 confirmation bias. I have a large social life and very social job, I know literally hundreds of women and their dating lives and I can confidently say that TRP is just bullsh*t.

• Few women care too much about looks(I care about looks a lot, it’s definitely not common).

• Women love men more than men love women(men kind of hate women tbh).

• Women’s definition of dominant,alpha men (basically “beta bux” with charisma) is completely different than men’s definition (rude f*ck boy with good looks).

• Women’s definition of being submissive (being spoiled, admired little girl in the relationship) is completely different than men’s definition of submissive women (caring, giving, motherly women).

• Husbands are very loved and cared.

• Most of women don’t care about money, they just want a responsible man(A man with a respectable job and disciplined personality).

• Overwhelming majority of women find male vulnerability the most adorable thing ever.

Oh yes, I think you want that to be true. For a few reasons.

First: you all REALLY want the AWALT stuff to be true. This is also why TRP goes so hard on "you can't negotiate attraction." This is false. You can, to an extent (incompatible orientations and massive age gaps and the like notwithstanding). What you can't do is convince another person to negotiate their attraction.

But TRP guys don't want to admit this, because then they'd have to admit that maybe they....have bad taste. Maybe they have to take their own advice and give a shot to someone outside their usual "type". Maybe there is "someone" out there who adores them in their pudgy shut-in state....but he doesn't want her. And then they don't get to feel like brave counterculture warriors, but just....shit happens.

They want to believe that this is all woman-specific, as TRP preaches, because then they don't have to look at themselves.

Also, would you people please come up with a coherent idea of what "bluepill" is? Because I simply reject that "some women are not nice" and "women are generally more attracted to guys who are charming, successful, in good shape, and happy with themselves" are societally-guarded secrets. FFS, even Disney movies have female villains and attractive heroes!
