I'm almost 26. My fiance is my age. I could accept 3 years younger or 3 years older man, not more. Most of my friends are between 20-28 years old.

Most men I find attractive are in their twenties, maybe early thirties. But every time I talk about hot male celebrity, I talk about them in their twenties (like Tuomas Holopainen, Johny Deep, Zack Efron etc). Most of them are not hot anymore.

My first crush was three years younger than me, but we never even kissed so I'm not sure if it counts. My fiance and my ex-boyfriend both are my age.

I am 32. If I would be dating I'd date 38-42. My SO is 42.

From 18 to 21, I preferred 5 years older. That slowly got stretched to 10 years older. When I was 22 I still thought a 30 year old men was old and I wasn't attracted to them at all, but by 27 I could find a 35 year old attractive. Biggest age difference was 12 years.

They need to be in top shape tough. Ripped, good face. My SO looks a lot like Mark Consuelos, that's the type of older guy I'm into. The average 40 year old wouldn't stand a chance, the men-age-like-wine only goes for like 5% of them and I'm being generous, most age just as bad as women.

30-35. My age plus 5 years seems to be median, give or take a couple years. Not really, it may have narrowed a little. Friends' ages range from mid-20s to mid-40s with a few outliers north of that estimate. A little over 10 years, we had intense chemistry. He also seemed worldly and well-educated. (I would call him nerd cute but he was no model.)

I used to like older guys. 12 years older for something I actually expected to work at...18 and 20 something years older when I knew nothing would happen. I was fucked in the head. I’ve sense been to therapy. Dad is in jail, etc.

Don’t really have an age limit for friends except probably 18+. I have a 20 year old friend and a late 40s friend. I socialize with all ages 18- I don’t even know because they’re old enough it would be considered rude to ask. Friends are 20-40s.

It has changed over the years. It wasn't until recent years that I stated finding 40+ men attractive.

Most of my friends are late 20s - mid 30s with a few outliers in both directions.

The biggest age gap was 3-4 years, I can't remember exactly. I was attracted to him for the same reason I've been attracted to other guys. I don't really consider anything <5 years an "age gap."

My friend group ranges from 34 to 50+

The range has expanded a bit as I’ve gotten older, but the 49 year old was an outlier

That said, the 49 year old had status out the wazoo - he literally had groupies. But our sexual chemistry was off the charts. That intangible chemistry was why I gave him a chance

Emotionally mature enough, but the type to go wild in moshpits and the like as well without all that overprotective bullshit of wanting to protect me when I'm there with him. Loves music and is the first to know a similar amount of bands that I do, which is honestly quite impressive. Very passionate and driven person overall that loves life. Let's me take care of him as much as he takes care of me. Not the jealous type. Doesn't take life too seriously, but can when the need is there. Very curious and open-minded as well, making it so that we always have the weirdest and nicest discussions. The type of person that drives me to succeed as well, but is there to catch me when I fall and expects the same of me. Very open emotionally without being overly clingy. Loves hugging and kissing and general physical affections and genuinely gives the best hugs. Someone who I feel so comfortable with it almost feels as home. Very honest and direct with no patience for bullshit whatsoever and values that in me as well. Genuinely just a good person, trying to help where he can. Someone who inspires me to make the best out of every day, both for myself and him. Someone I genuinely want to share my life with and explore it with, as partners, two individuals, in a very healthy way. Someone who loves sex as much as I do and fits me perfectly in that department because we both are the giving type and just want the other to enjoy themselves. Honestly just one of the most wonderful people I've ever met. I'm just trying to give it my best everyday to make him feel the same and so does he.

yes, drastically. When I was younger men more than 3 years older than me were at best NPCs, but mostly I considered them predators. After I HiT TeH WaLlZ men stopped being threatening sex creeps and I started to appreciate aged masculinity.

yes, used to have an upper limit of like 35. i only went for super fit muscle bods and thought old guys were unrelatable. i’ve gotten progressively more and more open minded especially as i’ve made some friends who have daddies or age gap relationships

It started as my age and up to 3 years older when I started dating as a teenager and expanded as I became an adult and more people were of the legal age to date. Most of the people I socialize with are within that range, with a few outliers here and there. The largest age discrepancy has been between myself and my current SO, I am 5 years older than he is. I find him physically attractive and I love who he is as a person.

what attracted me was his extroversion, good grades, smartness, and direction in life. he went to uni planning to major in biochem, and was very diligent and hard working. i also liked how he treated me like i was younger: he would kind of take care of me, would often pay for me and was a leader.

but the balance of power was way off, i think mainly from the age difference and how much i respected, wanted to be like, and wanted to please him. he also got angry quickly and was someone who really outwardly shows it when he's upset

Obviously it does go up as I age, at 20 a 25 year old would’ve been too old, at 18 22 was my cut off etc. My social group is between 18-40, although they’re not all in the same group, different aged people from different groups. I’ve only ever slept with 1 guy who was older than me (4 years) and it was the first time I’d taken molly at a festival and I was horny. Youngest dude also 4 years younger than me and I thought he was smart and really cute and had a sick taste in music. All my boyfriends and everyone else I’ve been with have been slightly younger than me.

I would be open to having sex with someone older (maybe 45 max) but I would never seriously date them. I think the men who want to date much younger are doing it for the wrong reasons and there's the obvious power dynamic which sits uncomfortably with me. Younger men are like children to me.

I was fortunate with my bf not having kids and an ex wife, but anymore the older guys have a lot going on, not that I'm actually looking for someone. I went on a date with a 24 year old when I was 19. It felt weird, I didn't feel mature enough to be with him. My biggest age gap for a relationship was with a man in the year below me in college (about a year and three months younger). I socialize with other college students. I find a wider range of men attractive the older I get (I'm 22 now), men in their 20s are attractive to me but I feel embarrassed about still depending on my parents and not having a car when I think about dating non-college guys
