Summary: the worst thing you can do is try to become friends with a girl to warm her up to the idea of dating you.

Body: My current LTR is with a girl(20) who affectionately calls herself the friendzone queen. We hit it off talking/texting so I called her on the phone after a week and specifically asked, "do you want to go on a date with me this weekend". One date led to a kiss, one month sex. Turns out she was a virgin which I found weird because she seemed too attractive. So she explained; since high school, she's had guys professing their love for her and waiting on her hand and foot, just to get the chance to go on a date with her-- just to get the opportunity to ASK her out on a date. So naturally, I jokingly ask, "why didn't you friendzone me?" She laughs, and says, "we were never friends!".

Then a lightbulb went off. I realized guys aren't 'stuck' in the friendzone, they chose to be there by failing to define the context of the relationship early on. The first time she and I met, I made it clear what I wanted. I asked about her interests more as a courtesy to open the conversation into what I wanted to do. She went on to describe her orbiters, she had more satellites than Jupiter.

There was the guy who wrote her love letters and sneaked them in her locker each day. She eventually had to sit him down and say there was a 0% chance.

There was the Beta Bob hs boyfriend who didn't get passed kissing for a year, who she broke up with before college because "long distance would be too hard"

Here's my favorite; this guy was her best friend and developed a foot fetish for her, and knew he had no chance so decided 'fuck it', and asked her, with his tail between his legs, if he could take pictures of her feet. At this point in the conversation she was cracking up, and told me she said, "ummm no." At which point I lost it too.

What really surprised me wasn't the amount of guys who failed miserably; it was the kind of 'sadistic' pleasure she got out of telling me all this. Women get this sort of power rush when they know they can use desire to mess with the mind of men; it's like a vice grip on their balls that she gets to control. They find the friendzone hilarious, like a little kid stumbling as he learns to walk. I used to be nervous around women, but hearing her crack up at those pathetic attempts at courtship helped push the pill down further. It's a treat to see the other side of the friendzone. I'll probably cum on her feet later so she can tell him in graphic detail and get a kick out of it.

One other observation; I went out dancing the other day, and saw this one sad sap. His girl friend lit up when she saw me and asked for a dance, while he said, "I guess she'll be going home with you tonight!" She replied to him; "oh it's so cute that you think you had a chance with me!" Inside I was dying, but fuck it, that's not my battle.

Tl;dr: be direct, define context as early as possible, and never let a girl treat you like that, even if you're ok being just friends.
