Asking based upon an experience I had myself with a woman who was attracted to me until she thought that I had made a negative comment about her appearance. Despite clarifying that she was mistaken, this was enough to halt the relationship moving any further because my lingo didn't sit right with her. I have also seen numerous content which spread a message on men "acting up".

So it appears as though some women believe that when a man reveals a part himself that they don't agree with then that is enough of a representation of his character for you to leave then and there. Under the assumption that history will repeat itself.

Others will forgive and hope that their partner can fix up whatever it is they don't like. Giving them a chance.

To clarify, there is no threshold as to what constitutes as a good enough reason to leave someone, that's entirely up to you which is what makes this interesting because some people tolerate a lot less than others.
